Heard about their Cali XL $5.99 burger over the airwaves and have been wanting to try it. Well, finally did try this two nights ago and hands down loved it. Let me say, this burger can rival and perhaps even exceed other burgers by the so called non fast food restaurants. This location is nestled in a quasi strip mall towards the Northwest corner. Parking was plentiful and the drive thru person was polite and answered our questions accurately. I will definitely need to return to this location and reorder the Cali XL tomorrow. Just thinking about how good that tasted is already wetting my appetite. Thank you Carl, you may have out done yourself on this particular burger. Great job!!! Clean restroom. Quick service. Not welcoming and not friendly. The person at the register looked annoyed and even walked off when asking about how to use their app. But what bothered me was how she was eye rolling at a coworker who was on lunch time was being questioning about work things...he's taking a break; allow him to eat. The lesbian manager was extremely rude she was in the middle of taking my order when she abruptly stopped to have a side conversation with another costumer who's order was already taken then completely rushed my order just to get back to talking to that other customer and completely forgot my milkshake the restaurant was completely empty besides me and the lady she was having a conversation with. I went in to grab a bite to eat. I was looking in my pockets for my coupon looked up and this female worker was looking at me with a malformed face. She wasn't welcoming at all and her body language was very off putting.I used to go to this location four or five times a month. But now, I only go in if I have a coupon and that is once every two months and I make sure to spend less than ten dollars. Claudia is the name on my receipt. The time was 7:11 pm 12/31/25. The service, food, and restaurant is fine and I really like it. However, it costs over $25 for a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and a large burger combo.... ...it's sad for me because I just can't afford it. My gas bill for the month was less. The cashier was really friendly and I've no complaint other than the price. For Being a Carl's Jr off the 395 the service is nothing too special. The staff are friendly , the food is always hot and fresh, but messy, and the dining room music is most likely Bluetoothed from another employees phone because the music here is to good to be from a fast-food joint like this one. Throughout my time traveling on the 395 I stop her almost every time on my way home. The location of the restaurant is quite odd in my opinion due to the fact of it being right next to a dried up wash where there are lots of homeless people. So I'd say "Come at your own risk." This visit I walked inside to order my food and leave as I usually do. As I walked inside the music was banging as usual. playing some rap music. The dining room was decently clean and there were about 4 people dining there from what I noticed. I walked up to the counter and ordered from the nice lady at the counter. I got a Famous Star with a Large Fry, and a serving of their fried zucchini. Because It wasn't too busy the food took about 15 minutes to be made. It didn't really bother me because I'd rather have it warm and fresh then cold and soggy. When my food was ready I grabbed it, walked back to my car and began eating. When I unwrapped my burger the only issue I had was my burger being quite messy. There was sauce leaking out all over the sides of it. Besides that all was good. The Burger was juicy, hot, and fresh. The fries were crispy. And my Fried zucchini was delicious as always. Would I bring a family here? Probably not due to the surrounding environment; but if you are stopping by for a quick bite Id say go for it. everything about this fast-food joint is decent in my opinion and I think that you won't have any issues here. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I went in 5-30-24 around 11am through the drive-thru. The lady took my order and then just went silent. I kept talking to her with no response. Then a guy came on the speaker with an attitude and I told him why they didn't answer that it was stupid of them to leave me talking by myself. Then we I got to the window, the guy went in on me! He told me I was no one to insult the girl (which I didn't insult her directly) and he asked if I still wanted the burger. I told him obviously and he was like well now I'm not giving you anything because I don't want to. And he kept trying to kick me out! He took my money and didn't want to give it back to me. He was being EXTREMELY rude and started insulting me. He refused to give me his name. Placed a mobile order. They can't find it. I have the order receipt in my app and I also have an email receipt. My bank account has already been charged for the order. They made me wait outside for 30 minutes and never said anything as promised or brought the order out. I ordered a Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich with sausage. The bread looked as if it was just warmed up in a microwave and not toasted, the cheese slices were still cold, and the sausage patty was the only thing that was kind of decent.
