Stopped by on our way to Mammoth...saw they had. Chorizo burrito and had to give it a shot...for a place named Bakers, they nailed it. That with a side of tots and an iced vanilla coffee hit the spot. My wife enjoyed the sausage burrito as well. Yum! read more

Had to walk out. No counter help. Ordering kiosk. Line out the door. 3 families walked out including mine. Only saw 2 workers in the back. Drive thru was backed up. This Bakers was top-notch when the owners worked it. I afraid this one will close soon based on what I saw. read more

I drive thru this location VERY often to deliver their b&c burritos to grandkids who do not have a Baker's nearby. My food is ALWAYS piping hot, my french fries are always hot and never gross but best of all as I drive off and take a sip of my diet coke it is always right. I want to give a shout out to Corine who seems to always be there when I drive through with a smile on her face and for always handing me my perfect order. I am sure that her whole team is awesome but it seems she is the common denominator to great meals. I have been to several other locations and seem to always drive off with the wrong drink or my fries are cool. Surely nobody wants to pay for cooool fries. The Hesperia Drive Thru is the best, cleanest and friendliest location and I highly recommend you give them a try. read more

Update: I tried to reach out to the email Baker's left on their response. I copied/pasted and it's not a good email. They must not care for any response. Tonight we wanted our favorite Baker's all-meat burritos and tacos, but remembered how awful they are since they added a smoke flavoring. I looked around online to see if it was company-wide, sorry to say, yes, it is. The fries are not the same either. This Baker's has gone down hill since Mike, the manager, quit during Covid. We try to like it, but it is severely lacking. read more

New **BEWARE THEY SERVE COMPLETELY RAW CHICKEN** Had a disgusting experience with this location. Ordered the crispy chicken wrap via DoorDash today.. took a couple bites to realize that it's completely RAW inside. This is completely unsafe, unsanitary and unacceptable. I couldn't believe it was raw inside and then I went to check the rest of the wraps ordered and it was also raw. I called the store right away and spoke to the manager and she didn't even care that it was raw. Her response was "you can come to the store to get new ones" I don't want new ones because I'll never ever eat Baker's again and also why would I come to the store when I ordered delivery on DoorDash. There's zero accountability for this issue serving RAW CHICKEN. Her attitude towards the situation seemed that she thought I was lying or making up that it's raw. Very strange and nonchalant. My family and I will continue to get to the bottom of this issue. It will not be left alone or unheard. read more

I always love stopping at bakers on the way to Vegas but this last visit was disappointing. The prices went up which is expected in this economy but the food went down. The burger patty is super paper thin! It was always on the thinner side compared to other establishments but this is just ridiculous. They also used to load it up with lettuce but they skimped on that too. read more

This is my mom's favorite location. The service is fast and friendly. They wear gloves when handling the food so everything is clean for the most part. The parking situation is a little difficult. The drive through line often backs up into the parking lot which can leave you unable to move your car when leaving. Other than that, this is a decent place to grab a $3 burrito. read more

I wrote a review about bakers and the problem I had with them. The bakers on Main st off the 15 freeway in Hesperia. They got back to me and told me to get ahold of customer service. This company has no respect for their customers. I tried going on the website they told me to go to. bakersdt.com. Guess what I did and it is a bogus website. What kind of company does this. read more

I ordered a double baker burger and that's al, I asked for ranch and it was 1.61 for a side of ranch so I declined. However I'm completely disappointed in the 1 burger I ordered. Aside from the very old and stale bottom bun the rest of the burger was fine. But unfortunately someone thought it was better to save food costs than worry about a review. I hardly ever go here and am solidified and never returning. I also called to advise them and they did offer to replace it, I'm sure if I brought it back only, but I just wanted to go home since I was almost there. Customer service wasn't that great over the phone either. Hopefully they try harder for other customers. read more

I've eaten at Bakers many times. It's really my favorite burger even better than In-N-Out. Today's experience was not a good example. The lettuce was only a third of the amount as usual and the presentation and friendliness of staff was not the best. read more

Haven't been to a Baker's in a year or so. This was the worst food we have had at a fast food restaurant. We got beef burrito's, taco, and a bun taco and fries. If you are traveling with a baby. DO NOT STOP HERE!!! THEY DO NOT HAVE CHANGING TABLES IN EITHER THE WOMENS AND MENS BATHROOM! Great stopover when driving along the I-15 around Hesperia.. One huge takeaway from our visit here was how clear and perfect the ordering process was. We even had a custom order and they made it correctly. The manager at the window had a big smile and he made sure that our order was correct. So difficult these days to get fast-food orders correct, but Bakers did.. The food here was good too. It's a mix of burgers and some Mexican favorites. Their tacos were pretty good. Better than del taco.. Their nachos were tasty.. The Monterey Double ( a mild roasted green chili, jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and dressing) was good but need some more bite to it. Maybe request jalapeños inside? - They have a diverse vegetarian menu. - Better than Carls Jr + Green burrito. read more

THE BEST TACOS!!!!!!!!!! okay- I don't know what it is about bakers tacos, but I want 12! LOL. They're just so damn good and Del taco & Taco Bell needs to take notes On the way home to LA, I stopped at this Bakers drive thru for lunch. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and a taco for 4.00x they both were outstanding! Fresh, HOT, and quick service. They're not dine in, but my gosh is the trip still worth it. I waited in the drive thru line for more than 30 minutes because I was trapped. It's "customer appreciation week" and I felt everything negative and no appreciation. The employee at the window was so rude. Now I got home and my tacos are a joke. There is literally about 5 strands of cheese on them, no tomatoes. It was pretty much my worst, and highly likely, last time going to Bakers. In today's economy, I would rather spend my money at businesses that actually do appreciate their customers. read more

Main St Bakers. Something needs to be done! Bakers has always been a family favorite, we visit a couple times a week easily! Wow. Waited in the drive-thru for like 20-30 minutes with one person ahead of me. When I pulled up to the window I thought I might get a, "sorry for the wait" but the horribly long wait was not acknowleged. I'm a truck driver and stopped here to try and eat at Bakers in Hesperia past 10pm @ store 12798 Main St Hesperia, CA 92345. Obviously I can't drive my semi truck through the drive thru, so instead I walked up to the window and asked if I could please still order (because the dinning area and door was closed). I was told by a female employee "we can't serve you because your not in a vehicle, it's drive thru only". I replied back and said I'm actually in a vehicle, I drove up here and it's parked right here on the side, it won't fit in your drive thru. The employee replied back and said sorry, but we can't serve you. I replied back and said so you don't serve truck drivers? We literally bring you everything here, and we need to eat too. She answered back and said "no we don't serve truck drivers, sorry." Complete garbage experience here! read more

This is my go-to Baker's location but mostly because they're not far off the path on my trip home. The drive thru is badly designed. It opens into a parking spot so if you're at the end of the line but not inside the drive thru you're blocking the lane or you're parked in a parking spot which means other cars don't even know you're in line... Yup that's a fun experience. The wait time is long for fast food. It does seem to vary drastically but a majority of the time we're waiting longer than we should be for our food. They've never gotten our order incorrect but the quality of the food is not always to Baker's standard. If you can help it do not order the gigantic french fry... I think because of the size they don't cook them as they usually do and we end up with a handful of good ones while the rest are bland, soggy, or hard. This has been constant for us since they changed their sizes/menu around. The staff is polite but not above and beyond and there are no apologies for your wait.. not even recognition that it's been 15 mins since they took your order. You're in a prime location Baker's step it up! read more

WHAT IS GOING ON AT BAKERS????? It used to be my absolute favorite place to eat, now the service, or lack of service, is so bad that I dread going back. I WAS YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!! The food quality has declined as well but not as bad as the service. And these people are making at least $20 per hour when they can't get a simple order correct? Walking up to place an order makes me feel like I am bothering them as I am directed to place my order on the screen. The drive-through is a complete JOKE! Expect to get the order wrong or missing items regardless of how small, simple or large, and my latest visit was no exception. It's impossible to report any of this to the manager since they can't be found. When calling they don't answer the phone. It looks like my more than $40 in rewards is going to waste. I'm not trying to make a problem, I'm just reporting it. read more

Remember Seinfeld's The Soup Nazi? Same situation with this particular location. This morning I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and a Coke, pulled up my car to pay, and asked the young man at the window if I could get a handful of Original Hot Sauces. He frowns and says, "Gosh, I don't think I can do that. Let me ask my manager Tammy, I don't want her to yell at me." I tell the kid, "I use a packet for every couple of bites, can I get eight packets?" The emasculated kid replies, "Let me ask Tammy, I don't want her to get mad at me." He closes the window and asks Tammy about the hot sauce, then gives me my burrito and says, "Tammy says you can have four packets." Then Tammy yells in the background, "Who needs that much hot sauce? Eight packets would last me all day." I ask the kid for my Coke and drive away. Newsflash, Tammy: I'm not you, nor are the other customers you are driving away with your controlling and biased attitude. Do you think I'm hoarding Baker's hot sauces to resell for a profit on the black market? Also, having your employees tell customers you yell at them doesn't exactly paint you in a good light. I LOVE Baker's, I've been patronizing them since the late '70s and will continue to do so, just not this location. read more
