It's the day after Christmas and I'm writing a review for Arby's, because the workers were just that impressive. We thought the speaker box was a recording at first because Samuel(?) was so enthusiastic and articulate right off the bat, then our cashier was super sweet and her makeup was so cute and perfect, plus all of the food is delicious and service was impeccable. These workers deserve raises, or a tip bucket at the very least.

Arby's! Happy to have you in my local neighborhood! I'm going to keep it real. I was disappointed when I came here to eat during Happy Hour and seen they did not participate in Happy Hour and had only one sale. A two for $7 with a fish sandwich and/or roast beef sandwiches. I ended up paying about $16 for a burger combo. So value isn't here as in other stores. I will say this though. The customer service was up to par. Management came out and greated me, the employees were fast to take my order, food came out hot and fast. They were quick with my refills. I wish they had self service fountain drinks but I get it. People around here today don't respect the rules and will get water cups and kick it in front of the machines like they own it. Lol! So yeah I get it. The place is kind of small but I guess that's normal for Arby's. The counters and tables are clean. Management seem to be on top of all that. Will I be back? Come on now I'm fat! That's a silly question. LOL! Of course I will! But having 5 kids I might make a trip to another Arby's to get a better value.

Empty inside and dirty trays on a table.

That's exactly happened to us. We came in around 1:30 PM. Everything is almost gone. Also, just for our luck, there is only one fairly new employee in charge; so, the food come out very slowly. I feel sorry for her that she had to do everything & everything! Well, I guess, we were in Adelanto, CA, and perhaps, my expectation was too high for this little boondog place. Btw, we didn't order any drink, & maybe, they were known for drinks & not for food! Oh, I didn't forget to mention how the food were because they weren't meet my expectation. Amazingly, kudo to the one & only employee who was very courteous, friendly, & helpful.

I was already weary about my wife wanting to try a pho place located at a gas station, but I decided to give it a shot. When we arrived, the place was completely empty. As soon as we walked in, there was a foul smell that seemed like it was being masked with the strong fragrance of dishwashing soap. After speaking with the young girl at the register, we ordered what she said was the most popular item, the #1 Pho Special with rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef ball. While we waited, I went to wash my hands and noticed the bathroom was very poorly kept, which was another red flag. When the food finally arrived, I was a bit grossed out to see visible blood on some of the meat. I figured that wouldn't be an issue since the meat usually cooks itself in the hot broth, but that's where the biggest problem came in. The broth was only lukewarm. Even though I'm not a huge fan of extremely hot food, pho should be steaming, especially on a cold night. I tried eating some because I was hungry, but I couldn't get past how warm it was. We let the girl who served us know, and she kindly offered to microwave it. While not ideal, we agreed. When it came back, it was still nowhere near the temperature pho should be. It was honestly impossible to enjoy, especially compared to other pho restaurants. We ultimately asked for a refund, which they were kind enough to provide. What stood out to me was that after our food was served, the workers seemed to be debating what temperature pho should be served at. One mentioned the boss trained them one way, while another claimed something different. That lack of consistency was concerning. I do want to add that the young lady who helped us was very professional, polite, and kind throughout the entire experience. Unfortunately, good service alone couldn't make up for the poor food quality and improper temperature of such a traditional dish. For that reason, I would not return nor recommend this place if you're looking for good pho. There's definitely room for improvement, especially from a management standpoint.

The wait time was a little long but I came in with a big family so I'll given them the benefit of the doubt, and the food is, as they claim, hand grown and ground instead of processed and everything is fresh The burger itself was great, I didn't think it'd be that good considering I don't like tomato, but I barely even noticed it was there. About maybe a pound of food with two 1/3 pound patties and everything else added with it, what I'm assuming is a full pound. The taste was impeccable and I felt full after eating it, and I could tell it was handmade compared to processed fast food. The fries were amazing, they taste kind of like in n out animal style fries, which I do enjoy, except these were Belgium style (fried twice I think). They had a spice to them because they put jalapeño sauce in it so I'd be careful about that if your sensitive to spice, but overall great I felt very at home, it's very local and minimal with little business (except my 7 person party). The atmosphere at first feels a little unfriendly but I will definitely learn to be a regular here once I get a job and a steady income. Overall, a great restaurant in my opinion to try if you're in Victorville, big portions that is handmade, a friendly atmosphere once you get accustomed to it. There is a long wait but I had a big party and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it's handmade, and it can be a little unwelcoming if you're there for the first time If you're wondering if there are vegetarian options, there is in the form of the happy Wilbur and happy Wilbur fries, it being made from mushroom pulled pork instead of actual pulled pork 9/10 would go again
