On recent visit to this place, (June 9 2026) I was very disappointed with the way the staff treated me, and by the way the manager, Jason was running the establishment. There was shredded lettuce on the floor, greasy tables, dirty napkins on the tables and oily chairs. When I mentioned it to Jason he was quite indifferent to the problem and informed me that he had the crew in back doing other things. All I heard was laughter and his crew kidding around. Also, when I told him the sandwich was bland, and that I was dissatisfied, he mumbled something about ordering, "Mike's Way" four times, so I gave up. His staff was even indifferent to my simple request for napkins! So if you have any thoughts of going there .. it's probably best you avoid it. read more

#12 Cancro Special. My new favorite sandwich here. It is roast beef with pepperoni and provolone cheese. I get it on whole wheat bread and Mike's Way. The lettuce is still very fresh and crispy, dressed with their seasoned oil and vinegar. I add their signature Red Relish for an extra kick. Service is, as usual, prompt and efficient. read more

Great food as always but man this manager was a piece of work. Told her we would like a bowl so we could pour some water in it for our dog to drink. She said no, that the bowl would cost $12. I asked even if we were buying a sandwich? She said no free paper bowl. Guess she had no heart for animals. The other employee was obviously embarrassed at the manager and stayed very quiet. Guess Mike can't afford to give away a paper bowl even if you buy a sandwich, cookie and chips. Watch out for the manager with the pinkish dyed hair. read more

If you want to try the best Philly Cheesesteak , you NEED to try Jersey Mike's Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. If you prefer cold sandwiches, you should try the Club Supreme sandwich for sure; both are consistently amazing. I almost feel like I need a cool down process today before posting but here goes anyways. I don't deal well with change or lack of consistency, which is what's happening here due to a new owner per management. Hopefully it will earn a star back, but I did not like being told I have to change the way I order my Cali club. Just layer the meat. It's not complicated, it's widely done at other locations and I've never once had the issue I had today. For starters; The style of fresh cut meats and cheeses, mikes way option, freshness and side options, makes this place a no less than 3 star setting. It's a staple sub shop. Bread-less option of sub in a bowl is a great substitute option for me to as well as the wrap instead of bread. I have been ordering the same sub from here since they opened and today I was told I can't order it the same way because they are now under new ownership. "They would allow it today." I ordered my usual two weeks ago, the way I normally order it, through the app and it was perfect. I don't know how it changed so quickly. I also get the sub the same way, at other Jersey Mike's Subs locations outside of the high desert and I have never had an issue. Sorry, this is the first review from me here, I don't know how I missed it! I eat here most frequently during the spring and summer as it's an easy meal for a family on the go. Just went today and their AC is broken... Again. It seems like every other time I go here, it's just as hot inside as it is outside. The poor workers couldn't stop sweating and at one point, I thought their sweat would drip in my food. This seems like a health violation. The only reason I'm giving them 1 star is because despite the horrible heat, the workers were still in good spirits and trying their best. Those poor kids. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - #2 sandwich........???? This was horrible - Fast Food Near Me - Apple Valley, California

I was completely amazed and stunned by the deliciousness of the number seven turkey sandwich. I had had Jersey Mike's years ago and the day we went the only thing they had that I could eat that didn't have ham on it was a chicken parmesan salad which. It was hot we sat outside in the sun and a hot sandwich it just didn't meld together well. However this location on Happy trails highway or highway 18 in Apple Valley is excellent. I have been to this location many times and the service is always excellent. All those making your sandwich are very happy to see you there have good short conversations while they're preparing the sandwich which never takes long. I like that you can get them made however you want and a tip is order the number seven with the turkey and cheese grilled to the bread and then they add your toppings. And other Jersey Mike locations I've been to in Upland California and La Crescenta California have been equally as good. Keep up the great work everyone. read more

I like the sandwiches at Jersey Mike's, as does my husband. We prefer their sandwiches over other sandwich chains. I typically get their veggie sandwich and my husband enjoys their number 13, the Original Italian. The establishment is clean. I do believe their is a more efficient way to get patrons orders out the door faster. It all starts with the staff. When you walk into a place with happy staff, you know you're going to get a great meal. I love that it's faster to walk from the hospital than drive over and back to the parking lot making lunch breaks feel longer. The #13 served hot really brings out the flavor of the meats. They're really good about not putting a ton of mayonnaise in the tuna (#10). The rosemary parmesan bread has an amazing texture, and getting it Mike's way adds most of the fixings, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar. Rewards points are easy to accrue with your phone number. Unsweet tea is fresh brewed daily, but as of this writing, if you want to avoid high fructose fountain drinks there is no sugar for sweet tea. read more

This location is better than most I've been to. Trust me... I have WAYYYY too many rewards points for Jersey Mike's ‍ I got the Big Kahuna Philly Cheese Steak, no jalapeños :), and the Original Italian from here and the Jersey Mike's by my house near Main Street in Hesperia on the same day to compare the two. Me and my girlfriend both concur that this location is simply superior when going head to head. -No I don't work here ... but I do in one of the offices nearby. If given the opportunity to get a sandwich here before I leave work for dinner, or the location by my house or any other for that matter, this location reigns supreme every time. I like the Big Kahuna Chicken Cheese Steak...yum! Ordering online is fast and convenient...this is our go-to place when we provide food to our staff (our office is just down the road). I don't have any complaints...but if I'm really nit-picking, sometimes no one says "hi welcome to blah blah" when I walk in...little things like that makes a difference in how people perceive a place of service...but I know they're busy at lunch time, etc. I don't really care that much tho as long as I get my food. read more
