Flying Dutchman

Most of the food was great, however the Flying Dutchman wasn't. Now I know why it is on the secret menu. This sandwich was nothing like any of the online photos. Not only were we having a good time laughing at this pathetic excuse for a sandwich so was some of the staff. We have always had great service and usually good food here so chalk it off as a bad day and see what's next on the menu.

Dry ahh fries

Did in n out forget how to make animal style fries or what ?? My animal style fries came with no cheese and no spread and all I asked for was no onions and that is all they put ?? Make sure to check your food because this location always messing up my order.

Food is always on point. Drive thru is always long but it's very fast and super friendly customer service.

Onion from flying Dutchman

If I could leave zero I would. EVERYTIME I go to this location and ask for a Flying Dutchman whole grilled onion wrap, they always burn the onion, literally burnt. As below, like it's not that hard to not burn the onion. and always have some type of attitude and always are stingy with the chilis and the spread

Every time we visit my in laws we head over to this IN-N-OUT. The food is fresh and delicious. The location is a bit off putting. There's always a long line but it goes by fairly quickly. The parking situation is what's the most confusing because the long line blocks it. We will continue to come back to this location because the food and service is good.

Sorry undercooked cold ass fries!

I love these burgers so much! Make the drive from Big Bear weekly! Sadly, the fires are mediocre. Fresh? I really don't think so. Todya there was a lot of cheering and yelling in the back. I wish they'd concentrate on making food more. We all know the fries aren't the best, even though all ingredients are fresh. They're always either crunchy or cold from having sat for a while. That's not really fresh is it? Today was the worst ever! We got undercooked soggy ass fries. I get they're busy, but undercooking fries? That's just wrong. My husband kindly requested new fries. We got the same undercooked now microwaved or warmed under a heat lamp Fries! Such a disgrace to their claim to fame of "fresh"! Still soggy, now even more cold. For what one has to pay for fresh, one should get fresh crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside...never happens either.

Driving from a Las Vegas weekend to LA, we stopped after a friend's recommendation. They did not…read moresteer us wrong. The food was delicious- fresh ingredients, well-seasoned burgers, delicious fries and drinks. More than ample portions. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food came right out exactly as we ordered it. They received 5 stars based on the food and service alone. The ambience was questionable- the dining room was very unattractive overall. We chose to eat in our car instead. The parking lot was also not well made or maintained. Would definitely stop again for the delicious food made with fresh ingredients.

Burger is still the best tasting. I always order their Classic Burger because I don't like…read moreexcessive toppings overshadowing the juicy, delicious beef. Grinding their beef in house definitely makes a difference. I usually enjoy their Chickenator Fries but this time it looks like the recipe has changed. It still tastes good with their spicy sauces but I remembered that the chicken used to be pieces of grilled breast meat. This time, the cashier asked the chef if there was any chicken left for the Chickenator Fries. He said "yes," went to the freezer and showed her a frozen stick of ground chicken. Albeit, the ground chicken was seasoned well and tasted good; I was just expecting chicken breast meat. Also, the fries were very dark in my portion. They are still the same creamy textured Kennebec potatoes as before but seemed tired and old. Service was okay. They are not really set up for cash sales anymore since there was only 36 cents in their till for change at the time. Dining areas were clean but the interior is due for an update.

When people talk about great restaurants, they often mention fancy places with tiny portions,…read moreexpensive prices, and menus written in words no one can pronounce. But sometimes, the best food in the world doesn't come from a celebrity chef or a five-star building. Sometimes, it comes from a place that feels warm, familiar, and welcoming the moment you step inside. Down Home Grill is one of those places. It may not look like a luxury restaurant from the outside, but everything about it--its atmosphere, its food, its people, and the experience it gives customers--makes it stand out above anywhere else. For many people, including me, Down Home Grill isn't just a restaurant; it's a place that feels like home. That's why it deserves the title of the best restaurant in the world. One of the biggest reasons Down Home Grill is unmatched is the atmosphere it creates. From the second you walk in, you feel like you're entering a place where you belong. Unlike restaurants that try to impress you with overly fancy decorations, Down Home Grill uses simple familiarity to make you feel comfortable. The lighting is warm rather than harsh, the booths and tables feel sturdy and lived-in, and the walls might be decorated with local photos or old signs that bring a sense of history. There's always a low, friendly buzz of conversation, the clinking of silverware, and maybe a radio playing songs that everyone somehow knows. It feels like you've stepped into a living room for the whole community. Whether you're coming in with family, visiting with friends, or even going in alone, it always feels like there's a place for you. Not every restaurant is able to create that sense of belonging, but Down Home Grill does it effortlessly, and that's the first thing that sets it apart from the rest. Of course, atmosphere alone isn't enough to make a restaurant the best in the world. The food has to deliver--and at Down Home Grill, the food doesn't just deliver, it exceeds expectations every time. The dishes are built on recipes that taste like they've been perfected over decades. You don't get frozen, reheated meals or plates that look good but lack flavor. Everything tastes real and comforting. The pancakes are fluffy, the burgers are juicy, the sides are seasoned perfectly, and even simple items like toast or hash browns come out tasting like someone took actual care in making them. Down Home Grill specializes in the kind of food people don't just eat--they remember. It's the kind of cooking where every bite feels like a reminder of something familiar, even if you're trying it for the first time. And unlike many restaurants where quality changes depending on who's in the kitchen, Down Home Grill is consistent. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, the food always has the same homemade, comforting taste. Another thing that makes Down Home Grill exceptional is the variety it offers. It's not a restaurant that tries to overextend itself with a giant menu full of dishes no one orders, but it absolutely knows how to offer something for everyone. Whether you want a classic breakfast, a hearty lunch, or a satisfying dinner, there's always a dependable option waiting. Kids, adults, picky eaters, and adventurous eaters can all find something they'll enjoy. And everything feels balanced--nothing is too greasy, too bland, or too over-the-top. It's the kind of food that leaves you full in the best way, not uncomfortably stuffed or disappointed. Many restaurants struggle to get this balance right, but Down Home Grill handles it perfectly. But even great food and great atmosphere aren't enough to make a restaurant truly legendary. What makes Down Home Grill stand out even more is the people who work there. The service isn't just fast or efficient; it's genuinely kind. The staff treat customers like actual human beings instead of table numbers. They ask how your day is going, they remember regulars' usual orders, and they treat everyone with respect, no matter how busy the restaurant gets. Good service is something many restaurants claim to have, but at Down Home Grill, you don't just receive service--you experience hospitality. There's a difference between someone doing their job and someone making you feel cared for, and the employees at Down Home Grill understand that difference. They play a huge role in making every visit memorable. Another important reason Down Home Grill deserves the title of best restaurant in the world is its affordability. Great food doesn't have to empty your wallet, and this place proves that. While many restaurants charge extremely high prices for food that doesn't necessarily taste better, Down Home Grill keeps its prices fair. Families can go out to eat without stressing over the bill, and people who might not be able to afford expensive restaurants can still enjoy an incredible meal. Being affordable doesn't mean the restaurant lowers its quality; instead, it shows that they care.
