What we could not eat due too how over cooked and cold the food is , it's so disgusting what a waste of money and time , do not recommend

It is absolutely horrible the food is cold and very old and over priced for the type of food they have it is so outdated and dirty don't come they don't care about the safety of food or customers.

Rice was left to get dry and hard.

Overall bad experience: I came about an hour before closing and saw the steam table was about 1/2 full but it didn't look too appetizing. The rice and dumplings were low and had been left long enough that they were dry and hard on the bottom. Inedible. The beef and broccoli had reddish meat that doesn't taste natural. Of course not everything is bad, the spicy chicken wings were delicious but the sponge cake that looks like egg foo yung seemed stale and honestly I felt sick after eating here. There were tiny mussels under the heat lamp that must have been ruined. I didn't try the menudo or pozole. And importantly, I noticed the really high temperature of the steam table. It just didn't seem correct. When I came in I felt puzzled that a Mexican man approached me to take my order in an Asian restaurant. He explained to me that they had been closed for 3 weeks to repair the kitchen and because there was a change of ownership. This restaurant is still not run right.

    Delicious

Dear China Palace HATERS!! I almost skipped out on this place because of the negative reviews!! I read a review saying there was nothing but Mexican food here! That was a lie!!! I came with a huge appetite!!! And no tacos were in sight!!!! But the Chinese food was delicious!!! I also read that every item sucked but I'm guessing this is coming from people with caviar taste! This ain't no Mr. Chows restaurant, but PLEASE keep in mind you live in the high desert! Just saying!

Dirty table next to us. Stayed dirty the whole time we we're here.

We got the stir-fried beef noodles, egg rolls, pot stickers, and the fried buns with condensed milk, and every dish was on point. The stir-fried beef noodles were the star -- super tender beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and great wok flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and filled just right, and the pot stickers were juicy with that perfect sear on the bottom. The fried buns were surprisingly good too -- warm, fluffy, and even better dipped in the condensed milk. The restaurant is clean, service was quick, and the food looks as good as it tastes (photo attached!). Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving solid dim sum dishes

Beef potstickers: Appealing looking but awkward to eat and seemed prepared from frozen. The meat was a little roll floating in the middle of the thick wonton wrapper. Pan fried on one side, a bit rubbery. Shredded Cucumber salad with garlic flavor was good with decent fresh cucumber. Scallion pancakes. Greasy. Unable to detect any scallion or onion flavor so I opened it. Tiny specs of what had to be those dried chives or green onion flakes. Scant amount. This is a simple, cheap fix for a usually delightful side order: Just chop up some fresh green onions and throw them in there. Easier on the oil & these would've been pretty good. Wouldn't order this unless they revamp this simple app. Distracting banging around of pots and pants in background. I guess it was pot washing time. Several customers ordered the dim sum and maybe that's the way to go. It's a no go for me.

The wontons were small but the filling tasted good. The proteins in the soup consisted of chicken and shrimp. There was plenty of meat for sure. The veggies were broccoli, celery, carrots, baby corn, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. The light broth had a good flavor as well. When I got this home, I found the container was 32 ounces filled to the brim. I added an avocado and lime juice to brighten the flavors but it was fine as is. It was one of the best valued wonton soups at under $10, considering the generous amount of ingredients in the soup. Highly recommended. I also ordered a Three Entree Combo meal. I had Orange Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, and BBQ Pork with sides of steamed rice and chow mein. The batter on the Orange Chicken was thick but it had a crispy crunch. Mushroom Chicken had mostly meat with just a few pieces of mushrooms and zucchini. BBQ Pork was seasoned well and tender with a few pieces of thick pork fat. These provided a textural contrast but are easily removed if desired. Not too sweet as well which is a plus. The ordered Veggie Egg Rolls were good with a ginger flavored filling. Overall, this combo was a satisfying meal with plenty of leftovers for later. Overall, a good experience with the food here. This Golden Chopstix location is on my list for a return visit, especially for the delicious Wonton Soup.

Today I ordered the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce with tofu lunch special. It came with an egg flower soup, egg roll, crab Rangoon, and choice of steamed or fried rice. The eggplant and tofu were cut in small pieces but the dish tasted good overall. The garlic sauce was savory. I also wanted to order their Shredded Pork with Rice Noodle dish off of their Korean menu. I had it before but, due to a miscommunication with the waitress, I ended up with Japchae instead. The Japchae was actually excellent, well made with a noticeable amount of wok caramelization flavor. The sweet potato glass noodles had a firm, chewy texture and provided a nice contrast with the tender pieces of pork and stir fried vegetables. I will probably order Japchae again even though I don't think this is a regular menu item. It is highly recommended. Service is polite and efficient.
