    Fried food service

The peel and eat shrimp were ok, but lacked any seasoning and the cocktail sauce was a step above ketchup. The chilled crab legs were ok. The salad bar had two types of lettuce cheese, beats, and sunflower kernels. The cooked food was average...at best. Panda express does a better job of "Chinese food" The ice "milk" was ok. The "lobster" which may or not have been lobster smelled bad. $32.99 per person for the "holiday" so $116 and change before tip. Bus service was on top of it and picked up plates regularly. Lack luster appearance with water stains on the roof tiles. We won't be back, and did not get what we paid for.

Hibachi grilled items. Flanken ribs are available as a meat selection.

New Asian buffet in the old Wood Grill Buffet location. Great buffet with a plethora of items; too many to try in one sitting really, unless one has a humongous appetite. That just means a return trip in the near future. I recommend the hibachi grill where a made to order dish with your own ingredient selections will be cooked while you wait. I made a plate with assorted veggies, noodles, flanken beef rib, chicken, egg, and surimi. I noticed a pan of cold steamed rice as well so there is an option to have the chef make a custom fried rice for you. Saucing selection is a teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, hot chili oil, and garlic. The chef was spot on with the seasoning. The final product was quite delicious. There are numerous seafood items, both hot and cold, in the buffet stations. Sushi and sashimi is available as well and is very fresh. There were at least two different kinds of baked fish and assorted fried seafood like shrimp and squid. I particularly enjoyed the baked shrimp filled scallop shells. The filling had a nice flavor with chunks of chopped shrimp. A chicken stick and BBQ pork rib were flavorful and tender. The little deep fried blue crabs were tasty, just be sure to select the ones with plenty of meat. I got a hot and sour soup. The soup could have been spicier so it was in the strong okay category. I noticed a Westlake seafood soup available but did not try it. That is definitely for the next visit. Staff were polite and efficient. Used plates were removed expeditiously. I went around 4:00 pm so there was no wait. Best to dine between peak lunch and dinner times to avoid the crowds. Plenty of parking in the spacious lot.

Tried out the new Oasis Buffet in Hesperia and overall, it was a decent experience. The prices are fair, and they offer kid pricing and military discounts, which is always appreciated. It's a new spot, and you can tell--they've done a nice job keeping things clean and the food looked fresh. There's a good variety of seasoned food options, including some kid-friendly choices, which worked well since I went with all my kids (and they enjoyed it!). The baked mussels and chicken were really good, and I tried a little bit of everything. That said, the sushi was a bit too warm for my liking, and I wish they had more dessert options. It definitely gets packed, so expect a bit of a wait--but it wasn't too bad. I haven't been to a buffet in years, and while I didn't have a bad experience, I'm just not sure buffets are really for me anymore. Still, if buffets are your vibe, I'd recommend checking it out!

Upon answering, we were greeted very friendly and then seated immediately. The ambience was neutral nothing extravagant, very bland and plain. I noticed there was a sushi bar and I have been craving sushi almost every day so I was definitely excited about that. I first decided to walk around the buffet and see all my options. I also noticed a stirfry station so I decided to keep that in the back of my mind as well. I will tell you this.... There is nothing at this buffet that will have me coming back. Unfortunately, the sushi tasted like cream cheese wrapped in rice. The stirfry was bland and tasteless and everything on the hot buffet was under seasoned or undercooked. I definitely will not be returning. But you can try it out and see how you like it. I did see that the health department issued a "C" rating as I was leaving.

Definitely an average buffet. Selection is fairly large but quality is average and nothing to crave. I would say the price point is better than average and cheaper than some other buffets. Staff is attentive but the interior has not really changed since the previous buffet that occupied the same space a few years earlier.

A hibachi dish with chow mein, broccoli, chicken, and small amounts of rice.

I really began thinking, did I get any real value out of it...and no matter how I thought about it, I felt the end result was I overpaid for two entrees. Food was good, not exceptional, but it didn't match the price. And so today, before setting out on my rig for Oakley California, Ive decided to come back to one of San Gabriel Valley's most jam packed buffetts, and see what's changed. You walk in, there's a wait list, and on a weekday, seats filled with seniors amongst seniors, a sea of half bald Asian heads and grey hair. All I can say is, this place checks every box on a diner's list looking for true cost savings and a diverse array of dishes. The seniors have voted. The hibachi stall offering steaks, pork chops, pork bellies , Shrimp to be honest taste no less better than what Red Rock was trying to do with its grilled steaks. The sushi here is surprisingly fresh and Trumps Luxe Buffett in Ontario in terms of food freshness. They have an entire dim sum bar for brunch goers and the overall hot food bar I give it a 7/10 while giving the Cold Fruits and Desserts Bars a 9/10. Have no idea what to eat for lunch? Exactly why I walked in here today.

The food is below mediocre. The drinks are watered down. The service is non-existent. (I know it's a buffet, but they're still supposed to bring you the initial drink that you order when getting seated, and also regularly clear your table of dirty plates -- neither of those happened.) The serving stations are dirty. Other diners have little regard for cleanliness or the decency not to mix serving tongs or ice cream scoopers. About the only neutral thing you can count on here is the jello - because no one can mess up jello.

A local STAPLE! I…read morediscovered this place randomly because I was trying to go to Soup & Fresh on a weekend but didn't want to wait two hours to get seated. This place is HUGE so I've never once had to wait for seating. What I love about this local, family run Mongolian spot is that it's all you can eat, so you don't have to stuff your 1 bowl like at the mall Mongolian spots. You can get 2 bowls if you want, one for noodles and veggies and the other for the meats. Best of all, when you are done, you can get more! The noodles are amazing, but what's equally as good is their side dish bar, which has pocket bread, egg drop soup, rice, spring rolls, and the BEST meatballs in gravy I've had in a while. The meat balls are so soft and flavorful. Lastly, the BEST fountain soda I've ever had is here. I usually drink 3-4 full cups before I leave. I come so often the main guy up front knows me, and always says "see you next week" when we leave.

Overall, everything was fine, but I wasn't informed beforehand that the lunch buffet didn't include…read morelamb or shrimp. The weekday lunch price of $18.99 feels reasonable, but at $23.99, you have plenty of other buffet options with a much wider selection -- places like Paradise, Empire, or Hibachi, which also include a Mongolian grill station. And honestly, if I'm only craving Mongolian grill, I'd rather drive to Pasadena and eat at Golden Palace for just $15.99. A quick tip to really make your money worth it: grab two bowls -- one for meat and one for noodles and veggies. Load up on as much meat as you can because it shrinks significantly after cooking. Take as little noodles as possible since they'll fill you up fast. Most people can only finish one or two bows, so don't waste your money by piling on too many noodles. Many previous reviews mentioned that this place used to automatically add a 6% gratuity fee even for solo diners. It seems they've stopped doing that, but they still add gratuity for larger groups.
