Hello Shabu is a great spot for AYCE shabu. I went on a Friday evening and the service really stood out. The servers were attentive and kept coming back to check if we wanted more meat, which made us feel well taken care of. There's a good variety of ingredients to choose from for your soup, so you can customize it how you like. They only have three soup base options though. The dessert options were a nice bonus too, with both an ice cream machine and a shaved ice machine. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and would come back.

Hello Shabu is a decent AYCE hot pot spot in San Bernardino. Prices aren't too high, and the overall quality is just okay. Nothing amazing, but not terrible either. The biggest letdown for me was the soup broth. Most of the flavor comes from spices rather than a rich base. The ramen seasoning is exactly the Korean instant ramen seasoning, and the rest of the seasoning options didn't feel very different from that either, which was disappointing. They do offer a variety of Korean side dishes like bulgogi, tteokbokki, and corn cheese, but the flavors were pretty underwhelming overall. One cool feature is the robot that delivers food, which is fun at first, but it can be confusing because you don't really know which meats are which unless a server comes by to explain it. Overall, it's an okay spot if you're looking for a budget-friendly AYCE hot pot, but don't expect anything standout in terms of broth or flavor.

This is a continuation review I wrote last month . I meant to edit somehow I was not able to. We were a party of 8 , when I paid I questioned the cashier " hey why the bill seems so high ?" . She stated it's now dinner price , okay makes sense . Then I roughly added the price in my head , thought something was off. After our meal I gave $40 tip cash . Got home and recalculate the total and noticed they already charged gratuity when I paid at the register. Now I am fuming ! 1- the cashier was not transparent when I asked , she should have informed me they automatically charged gratuity. 2- I double tip twice ugh!!!

While I enjoyed their variety, Hello Shabu didn't offer the best quality of ingredients or prepared foods. They were very slow with protein refills and the portion sizes were small. We paid for our party before entering the dining area and an automated robot delivered our meats. There were three broth options: vegetable, beef, and chicken. These bases could be customized with flavors at the sauce bar. The possible meats included: beef brisket, beef belly, beef chuck, beef top blade, beef ribeye, and chicken breast. The brisket and ribeye were my personal favorites for their balance of fat and meat. I wished the meat came out faster and in slightly larger portions. There were long waits between rounds, so we ended up eating more from the self-serve options while we waited. There were juices available although they were a bit diluted and weak in flavor. There were lots of noodle choices, but we noticed a clump of mold on the egg noodles. It seemed like the ingredients weren't being rotated as often as they should be. With such large quantities set out, freshness was questionable. The vegetables and seafood offered good variety although the vegetables could have been washed better. The prepared foods were greasy and bland. The Korean dishes seemed off in flavor, almost like the seasoning wasn't quite right. The corn cheese tasted more like creamed corn. The tteokbokki was tough and mild. The bulgogi was overcooked with a weak, watery marinade. The shaved ice machine was unfortunately broken, so it only produced a few shavings. Still, the self-serve area had some fun flavors and toppings. The ice cream had a grainy texture and tasted almost floral. The sauce section was the most extensive, Since the broth could be adjusted with seasonings, I didn't need too much dipping sauce, but I liked having so many options. I usually focus on the protein when I eat AYCE hot pot, but the slow turnaround made it hard to get my fill this time. The variety was fun, though I hope they improve their ingredient rotation and freshness. The staff were friendly and hardworking, I just wished they were used more than the robots.

Been seeing this place for a while and finally came in. Overall it's a good place to go with family and friends.. *Pots-everyone gets their own! I eat hotpot often and never have I been to a place where you get your own pot!! That's soo cool. *Meats- they have 4 options I think maybe 5?, a small selection in my opinion for hotpot.. but they have the buffet. 2 meat orders per person per order.. a robot delivers them. *buffet- the buffet is in par with all hotpot's I've had in terms of veggie selection/seafood variety/noodles type.. there was literally so many options.. *hot foods-the hot foods wasn't as big as a selection as I was hoping for.. I think there was 5-6 total hot foods.. and one was doubled as rice.. *sauces- there was alot of sauces! And the workers were VERY helpful in making them for you if you needed help.. they even made off menu sauces which I LOOOVED!! *restaurant- the restaurant was clean and well organized and food was always available and never ran low.. service was quick and simple.. *dessert- they have self serve shaved ice and ice cream with lots of toppings.. Overall this place was great! I would come back here and I would recommend... although for the price and with other hotpot places, this is on the pricier side.. with $40/45 for dinner per person

It's been a little while since I've been here, and unfortunately I had a less than stellar experience today. I arrived at 8:30pm, and after paying and sitting down I was informed that last call for meats would be at 9:10pm. That's really early for an all-you-can-eat restaurant that closes at 10:00pm, making it difficult to have a relaxed dining experience. Note also that a sign clearly says that the last call is at 9:30pm, so they're not even honoring their own policy. Seems to me that this just encourages people to over-order during last call, leading to food waste. (Or at least let me know at the register if your policy is different than the sign right at the register?) Anyhow, this issue is compounded by how slow the meat orders come out. It took over 20 minutes for my first order to come out-- To be fair, my other orders were significantly faster, but by that time, last call was about 15 minutes away. I also noticed that the servers were often too busy cleaning up tables in preparation for closing to take people's orders and refill broth, etc. I understand wanting to clean up, but it shouldn't be at the detriment of people's dining experience. Furthermore, the other self-serve areas (veggies, sauces) closed shortly after last call for meats, meaning you can't get any food at all after the meats stop strangely early. I hate to keep reiterating this, but the closure was much earlier than the posted time (which should be a good while after last call for meat). In short: This place definitely needs a change in policy, or if you want to have ample time to clean and close up, just change your opening hours. As it is, you can get there well before closing and still feel rushed and, honestly, kind of screwed over.

For IE this is pretty good shabu! You pay first before you get seated but once your sat you order your broth and first round of meat. There's a lot of options for veggies and sauces but the best part of hello shabu is the button on the table to call the server for more meat and broth. There's meat come on little robot thingies and once you get the meat you can immediately order more. They play light music in the background and it's usually not that loud in the restaurant

    Phuonghuyen N.

Not bad for an all you can eat shabu place in the inland empire. Price is affordable as well...it does get packed on the weekends, but service was decent! You pay right when you entered & seated afterwards. Then you order your broth flavor which wasn't too many options to choose from. Then you order your meat where they slice it right when you order & then it's brought out on the robot. Meanwhile waiting for the meat, you can go grab other toppings & sauces you would want for your broth...which you will definitely need to add because the broth is a little on the blander side. There is also a hot food station area where it's mostly korean food & not too many options (tteokbokki, korean fried chicken, beef, etc.). Next to that is a cool shaved ice machine for desserts along with some fruits & ice cream. Overall not a bad experience & I would definitely come back.

Solid shabu shabu (in your own pot, yay) with a straightforward menu of broths and meats. We paid first at the front register and were then taken to our table, with no wait in the middle of the afternoon! Meat orders are placed with the staff, and it seemed like they cut to order since it took a while for us to get our meats. They did seem understaffed that day and requested patience from customers. We mainly ordered a combo of beef brisket, belly, chuckeye, and top blade. Ribeye was for dinner only, and we don't order chicken for AYCE. We liked all four but especially enjoyed the beef belly since it's a little fattier (aka more flavorful) than the rest. The meats are super thin and cook very fast. You have access to a large buffet bar consisting of veggies, seafood, and condiments. Everything seemed clean enough and accurately labeled. You can use their sauces or make your own. They even offer some suggestions on a sign by the condiments, which is cool. There are other spots that had some prepared hot foods, a shaved ice station, a coffee maker, a frozen yogurt dispenser, and a beverage corner, all self-serve. Not gonna lie, I was a big fan of being able to get our own coffee and shaved ice, complete with various syrups and toppings. Was a fun and delicious way to end our lunch!

This is my second visit to this restaurant. They have a few options of soup based. Some pre-made food like Korean Fried Chicken, Bagoggi, and Cheese Corn. Its AYCE place. They have plenty of Sea Food and Vegetables options. Plenty of different sauces and spices as well. The meat you order is brought to you by a robot and is pretty neat. The waitress is constantly checking up on you to see if you would like to order more meat. They have plenty of tables and they are equipped accommodate larger parties as well. They have a couple of TV'S playing sports and also play music.

I love this place one of my favorite spots, the food is fresh and delicious, service is great when you need it and robots are fun, the place is clean and open, plenty of seats.

Selection of food from the buffet choices.

Not 5 stars because of the service. Otherwise it was good all around. Place seems clean Not busy Seated, was explained the menu. The server output our hot pots and our selected broth. Meats were chosen and not brought correctly. Not a big deal. The veggies/noodles/seafood etc were out and selected by you buffet style. Tons of options. They have off to the side fried chicken and a couple other options. Lots of fun don't for ladies lunch We sat and were finished enjoying our time (not getting refills) and were told we had to leave. That part was strange and rude but we tried to not let it ruin our visit. They weren't even busy.

    Ashley D.

AYCE hot pot for $32.99 was amazing. You make your own flavored broth and I did Tom Yum. It was yummy but didn't take very authentic. You get to choose 2 meat options per round, with unlimited veggie & seafood options, already made Korean food items, and drinks. Very big inside and very clean. Staff was very attentive and there's a button on your table to call someone over.

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. When we arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us at a table that would not have comfortably accommodated our group. I politely asked if we could be seated at a nearby table that had more space. In response, she rolled her eyes and let out an audible sigh, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we were eventually seated at the requested table, she placed the menus down abruptly and did not hand one to me directly, instead leaving it at the end of the table. The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and, frankly, not in line with the level of service I would expect from a hostess. That said, I want to note that the rest of our experience was positive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food itself was also very good (I would not recommend the orange chicken though) and something I would return for. I hope management takes the opportunity to address the front-of-house experience, as first impressions matter and can significantly impact a guest's overall perception. Everything except for the hibachi I got was cold. Shrimp, pork, chicken, all cold. They have an okay variety of deserts but other than the coffee and orange ones they were pretty bad. The flavor of the food was good, but the temperature of it was what really grossed me out and worry about food poisoning. It was during dinner at around 4pm so crab legs were included. My daughter devoured them and so did I. Best part of the buffet. Customer service: the waiters were very nice and kept our table clear. As soon as they notice we had our empty plates they would come around and grab them. I did notice and maybe it was just for that moment but we did get different waiters just grabbing our plates. Maybe they are doing a system where everyone waits on every table. Whatever they were doing it worked! We did mention at the end that our food was cold after we had paid and all because we were asked how we liked it. She did apologize and told us we should have brought up sooner so they could warm it up. That since it was slow the food gets cold. It was nice she apologized and all, but working in the food industry myself it is not any of the customers job to remind you to keep an eye on food temps. And you're supposed to keep food hot. Regardless they were nice. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? No. $60 for two adults $9 for my 4 yr old and $5 for my two yr old. So basically $80 for a family of 4 for cold food. Flavor was good though. So if you want to try it maybe you're lucky and get hot foods

Strawberry Pandan Lemonade - This was my girlfriend's drink. I had a small sip here but found it was refreshing and not too sweet. However, I didn't really get any pandan flavor, mainly strawberry. When it all comes together, it was a good experience. The interior of the story is more dimly lit and felt like a romantic night dinner, despite being the middle of the day. The dishes had a balance of standard and hidden gems. Everything was more than sufficient for two people to share. Service was great and very attentive. Will come back for the Crispy Short Ribs! American Express is accepted here.

Another lucky visit to this remarkable restaurant. Intoduced to this Vietnamese fusion restaurant…read morea number of years ago by my PS resident friends, we got the chance to visit again last night. Delightful menu surprises ensued and this time I was taken to a new culinary level with the Chili Osso Buca bowl. How could I ever have the traditional Osso Buca again having tried this transformative vision! We also were introduced to the lobster popcorn (I leave the description to your imagination...because the preparation will surprise you with culinary delight!). Fellow guests had their usual preferred bowls, a vegetarian pad Thai that was worth singing about and some wonderful grilled pork and veggies. Trying to plan our next visit to this gem in the desert. Hopefully it is soon. The service, as always is the very best, whether you are a regular or first time visitor, chairs are comfortable and indoor and outdoor seating satisfies every happy customer. Creative drink menu and desserts. C

Service was great and we sat at a nice covered outdoor patio…read more I had the beef tenderloin bowl. The beef was fantastic and the vegetables that had some sauce, also great. I would have loved more sauce on the vegetables and rice. Some of the vegetables were lightly cooked (mushrooms, carrots, zucchini) while the cauliflower was clearly raw. For me, good but nothing special.
