The service was impeccable, the hostess and our waitress was very kind and attentive during our meal. We came for the lunch special! It was very good! Some of the items weren't hot but like lukewarm/cold which happens! It's okay! Everything else definitely made up for that! The inside is BEAUTIFUL!!! They have a HUGE koi fish pond, arcade games and seating in the main entrance! The restaurant layout is very nice, easy to maneuver and it was very very clean! My friend had ordered trays of food for her party and asked me to pick up. New Chinese buffet by the highway. It's pretty big and huge parking lot as well. I walked in and saw a fountain and waiting area. I was greeted in the next room where everyone is dining. Huge selection of food, rows of seafood and different entrees. Dinner costs $21.99 per person while lunch a little cheaper. Huge dining area on both sides of the buffet stations. The guy was super nice to push the cart of food out to my car. Because it's Lent and it's Friday, we looked for a place that had seafood. Empire Buffet had a lot of offerings and lunch was only $17.99! Plus, seniors (65+) get 10% off! So, we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Right from the start, it was a good experience. The hostess gave us a friendly greeting and sat us immediately. The food was good and our waitress was attentive in clearing our table of used dishes and filling our water glasses. We will definitely come back especially since we want to try their meat dishes. I went today April 25,2026 and I personally like to use plastic forks or spoon for my toddler of 20 months, since I think it's easier for her. Anyways, so I asked if by any chance they had any and she said she did so I follow her and she gave me a fork and a spoon but not sealed wrapped, along with that there was white spoons in a cup container where she had these utensils. They open everyday at 10:45 and always ready to take in customers. I noticed a lot of Hispanic because Perris is 95 percent Hispanic. The selection is decent, and you definitely get your money's worth. That said, I can't give it a full 5 stars. It was our first time here. We've made reservations for 18 people because we wanted an AYCE place after we've attended a graduation. It's a pretty good size restaurant, too. The service AND the food were amazing! The staff were very accommodating and nice! There were a good selection of seafood, meat, soup and veggies! My family and I were in the mood for sushi, so we stopped by here. This was my first, and sad to say, my last time here. The sushi was okay until I got to the raw salmon. It had bones still left and I had to spend two minutes carefully chewing the decent sized salmon chunk in mouth to remove the bones. I gave the place another chance by trying out the cooked fish, shrimp, and crawfish. It was all mediocre, no flavor, and obviously frozen. Here is my biggest pet peeve, all the serving stations are steaming hot. But the moment you sit down, the food is cold. I don't understand this, I really hope food is up to a safe temperature at these stations. I'm worried that the food is under temperature and these stations give you the impression that the food is hot. If you want sushi, go to a sushi spot. A kid's area such as; fried chicken, French fries, pizza, chicken nuggets, sesame balls, malasadas (or fried doughnuts) soup station, a good salad area and a DIY Mongolian area. The customer service was very good, attentive workers and although those in the back kept coming back to the lobster station to grab the good pieces, (as I watched) All was fine, I have to give them kudos for the price we paid, the food and service. They have anything from sushi, hibachi, fried foods, salad/soup, pizza, Chinese entrees, to desserts! That being said, my biggest reason for the 3 stars is the quality of food. I had never been to this Buffet until this past Saturday. I walked inside with the thought in my head that I was going to find a typical buffet and probably not like it because I just don't do buffets. Well... I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the buffet lines filled with beautiful looking food, huge variety of foods that included asian fare, seafood, a sushi/sashimi bar and a Mongolian BBQ grill. The food was pretty darn good and the sushi/sashimi was excellent- very fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. Petty clean inside as well.
