    L24. Kung Pao Three Delight
    Jacob C.

My family has been customers of Jade China for several moons. This area is Moreno Valley near Edgemont, but they carved out the street, so revenue goes to Riverside. I ordered the Kung Pao Three Delight with fried rice & noodles, Hot & Sour Soup, and Eggplant & Tofu with Szechuan Garlic Sauce (added beef). Everything was great and flavorful. It's what you'd expect from a fast-casual to-go Chinese spot.

I came here for my lunch break and they were having a lunch special on spicy crispy beef that came with a choice of fried rice or steamed, and also some chow mein and your choice of soup (egg drop or sweet-and-sour). I quickly chose that because it sounded delicious and it did not disappoint. The beef was indeed crispy and had a good spice to it. I ordered the fried rice instead of the steamed and it wasn't overpoweringly oily. It had a nice flavor and it complimented well with the hot sauce I requested. The hat and sour soup was absolutely delicious. I'm not a fan of tofu, and I let them know that and they did a great job of ensuring not to scoop any tofu into it. The chow mein was delicious. I just had to mix it up a little bit to get all the flavor together. The place is very calm and clean, and was playing instrumental music which was a nice touch to keep the atmosphere relaxing. I would definitely come back here.

I've been coming to Jade China since they opened, and it's been consistently good! It's in the top 3 Chinese food restaurants in Moreno Valley for me. The dining room is clean and comfortable. The employees are super nice and always attentive. I come for the fresh food, cooked to order. No steam table with hours old food here. I ordered something different everytime I come, and everything is always tasty and fresh. Today I had the Indonesian rice and the hot & crispy beef. The rice was super flavorful with a fried egg on top. It was a bit too wet for me. I like fried rice that is dry, not wet. The beef was delicious Crispy, sweet and a little spicy. The two dishes were so good together! I'll be back soon Jade China The Wor Wonton soup is the best around

The food is subpar. The Mongolian beef is primarily onions and not so much beef. The orange chicken was dry and flavorless. The "fried rice" was only white rice mixed with soy sauce. There was no vegetables or eggs. Overall very disappointing.

My family and I have come to Jade China for many years. No matter when we come back their food is always: fresh, well balanced, piping hot, and the same consistent quality we love whether we pickup or Door Dash. They have a huge menu and lunch specials, daily. We will continue coming back!

Hiding in the sprawling shopping complex of Moreno Valley lies this Chinese restaurant that's not set up for combination meals, but rather, dining in. Sure, takeout is optional and possibly delivery via Uber Eats et al., but dining in is more relaxing. I had an hour lunchtime so I wanted to get acquainted with the menu and atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly, and the meal included an appetizer snack (sticks?) with dipping sauce, followed by a bowl of egg-drop soup. My main course was a Szchuan staple: Mapo Tofu, with Pork. A spicy option that didn't disappoint. Served with rice, it's probably best approached with a spoon instead of a fork or chop sticks. It's pretty Westernized so I think if I wanted chop sticks I'd have to ask. Anyhow, it was delicious. The soup was good, although my absolute favorite rendition of egg-drop goes hands down to HKBBQ in University Village. Nonetheless, having it included in the price is outstanding. Just add a little white pepper to make it marvelous. The main course was perfectly executed. Great sauce with excellent consistency. Spicy but not over the top, and all ingredients were enjoyable. I had some leftover, but I didn't have a way to keep it refrigerated, so sadly, I had to leave it behind. My goal is to revisit a few more times and try different things.

I'd say this is a more Americanized Chinese place but they have some decent authentic options. I mainly come here when I just want a simple wonton soup. Except one time they forgot the wontons lol.

    Do they have outdoor dining?

Recently, they have placed a few tables out front, under the overhang, but it's not a typical al fresco dining setup. That said, given the small dining area inside, it's a helpful addition. It would be great if they relocated to a larger facility.…

I received brown rice not the fried rice I purchased. What shall I do now?

That may be the fried rice. See my review.

Our entire family grieved the loss of one of the best dim sum and Chinese cuisine restaurants in the Riverside area. But lately, there was a lot of talk, good talk, that the same owner had reopened here, a tinier bistro setting, not as flashy interior. So here we are, finally, late to the party, but sublimely happy. First things first. An order of their siu mai. Still just as plump, with their signature, wonderful pork- shrimp filling, my taste buds let out a big sigh of relief. I've had to endure some pretty horrible ones from other restaurants lately. Big Skyy's is superb. Next, the black bean pork ribs. Wonderful, just as we remembered. A healthy portion, plenty of meat in spite of the bones. Great gravy. Finally, the eggplant with beef. This one was extra special, made with generous amounts of filet mignon, eggplant cut in spears, cooked in a salty sweet garlic sauce that is very special. It was melt-in-your-mouth, swoon worthy. One of my favorites. They still accommodate large family groups, a few big round tables for 6 or more. The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. They feature the same marvelous menu and the same chef who creates those traditional Chinese dishes with pizzazz. It's wonderful to re-acquaint ourselves with an old "friend". It's even better to know, the important things we remembered have not changed a bit. You would be right to assume we will be back!

I spent around $77 including tip which was 2 drinks, an appetizer, and 3 main plates. Actually, they don't have just a side of fried rice, so we were forced to buy it as a main plate. Everything tastes good. I just finished my leftovers and I'm already craving the noodles since they were so soft. The restaurant is clean and modern with big windows and an outdoor patio. If it weren't so hot (We came on a 100F day) it looked like a nice place to eat under the umbrellas. I accidentally spilled a jar of hot sauce which for some reason had a loose removable lid and one of the waitresses was quick to clean it up for us. She was nice about it, too, like she could've easily copped an attitude with us about it, but didn't. A man next to us said he accidentally did the same thing which makes me think they need to find a different container for that sauce. There's a huge parking lot, so that wasn't a problem. However, the area directly in front of the restaurant and the other shops near it were sectioned off with yellow caution tape for some reason and my sister said it looked like a murder scene, which made me laugh. I'm fairly sure that wasn't the case, but I don't know why they did it. The only reason I knew the restaurant was open for business was because I saw people eating inside through the windows.

First off, we were the only people in this place at dinner time (6pm). The server was sitting at a table prepping vegetables (not in the kitchen). Now the food... we ordered safe: beef broccoli, honey walnut shrimp, fried rice, lo mein, etc. But the honey walnut shrimp was horrible! No sweetness to it at all, It had a mayonnaise flavor or something! The fried rice was not fried, it looked like they threw some soy sauce on some steamed rice, mixed it up and served it to us! I should have listened to my kids when they said it looked ugly from the outside and the food could not be good! That was a 75 dollar lesson... next time I'll listen to the kids!

First, I arrived shortly after they opened on a Tuesday, which is important to highlight because they're closed on Mondays, and I suspect one dish I tried had the texture of leftovers (from the weekend). Part of me wants to try again later in the week, and day to see if this was a fluke. What I ordered was a rice bowl with braised pork belly and daily vegetables. Everything was good except the pork was dry and tough, clearly not braised that day or heated all the way through. I forget what my first choice was, but it wasn't available that day. My other item was the wonton soup, which also disappointed me for a few reasons. Portion size is good, but the broth tasted really thin, watery, and the wontons were overcooked and falling apart. The cause was they were forgotten about and the pot boiled over. Generally, you cook these below the boil to prevent the cloudy mess from disintegrating skins. The filling tasted fine, but again, overall flavors and balance was marred. I did, however, enjoy the lenon tea that comes with every combination meal. And, the employees are very nice, but the food didn't make the cut. They have a big menu and I've seen the skewers and hot pots in action so I know there's potential.
