I'm not too happy with the food here. I've been a regular and everytime I crave for Chinese food this place is it for me... but the food today and the last time I ordered was not up to par. Delicious! This Chinese fast food exceeded my expectations. I ordered a two item combo, with rice, veggies, salt and pepper shrimp, and mushroom chicken. The shrimp was full of flavor-- I'm thinking it may have been fresh rather than frozen. Everything I ordered tasted much better than the usual fast food at other places. This place is conveniently located near the Van Buren entrance of the 91 freeway and shares a parking lot with many other businesses. There was no line at 4pm on a Sunday, and my transaction took about 1.5 minutes. Super fast. Cost about $11. read more

This place offers 1 item, 2 item and 3 item combos. All combos come with a choice of steamed rice, fried rice or chow mein. 1 and 2 item combos are packed in a styrofoam box while the 3 item combo consists of an additional small container for the 3rd item. When I say the box is packed, I'm not kidding. They over fill the box and close it with no space to spare! Talk about value! I went with the 3 item combo (teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, and mushroom chicken) with the chow mein noodles.. Pricing is $10 for 3 items (tax included) and $8.50 for 2 items, and $7.50 for 1 item. Orange chicken was fresh and on par with the one at Panda Express. Teriyaki chicken was tender and tasted great. Mushroom chicken had plenty of veggies and was another great dish. The chow mein noodles were cooked perfectly and complemented the meal. Overall I was really impressed with the food given the value! The 1 or 2 item combo is more than enough food for 1 person! Looks like I am going to be having plenty of left overs for days with all that food I ordered! I hate that this is the restaurant that gets me out of my reviewing stupor but like they say, people are far more prone to go out of their way to bring up a negative experience than praise a business for a good one. That is exactly what happened yesterday, I would like to preface by saying that this was a regular go to spot when the craving for fast food style Chinese was had but maybe that's changing after this last time. I ordered a combo B with all lo mein and beef broccoli, for my second item I wanted mushroom chicken but the pan was basically finished save for a bunch of veggies and two skimpy pieces of chicken. I see the potato chicken is still plentiful so I request to take the last scoop of mushroom and if they could complete the rest with some of the chicken from the potato chicken. The woman behind the counter says that's a combo C, I look at the glass, she looks at the glass, we look back at each other, I try explaining if I get a C there isn't enough for an entire side container but to avoid arguing I say okay can I get the mushroom chicken, I want to see how this miraculous portion will be made. This is where it gets fun. She proceeds to load both sides with beef broccoli and then spread the scant amount of veggies and pittance of chicken on top...because there wasn't enough as I tried explaining. The kicker was they replenished the mushroom chicken right after. Oh and right after that I asked for 3 chili oil containers as they leave the oil out with no lid, issue for some not for others, but not cups and she "forgot" to give them to me before going to the next guest. Might've been an off day but this was a terrible experience on so many levels, take this with a grain of salt...and maybe bring your own chili oil just in case. read more

I've been coming here for almost 10 years. I came back after quite some time and it's just not the same. I understand that's they've changed management and basically all the workers. The food isn't as flavorful, especially the fried rice. When I used to come in regularly, the servers knew me by name and were so polite. This new lady was extremely rude!!! I ordered the lunch special which came with a drink. But I also asked for a water cup to which she responded, "Sorry no, you already have a drink." And I said, "What? I can't get a small water cup?" And she kept saying "No" then went to the other customer. I waited until she got back to the register and then asked again, "I'm sorry, did you just say I can't have a water cup because I have this drink? A small water cup?"
