We wanted to try this place for a while and we were not disappointed. AC works nice and cool inside. Service on point, friendly and quick. Food was great, flavor was there. We order 2 of the #1 and Spring rolls our favorite dishes. We will be back and try the Cajun seafood and couple of shakes. 6 minutes to get the egg rolls. Smoking hot, crispy, meaty very good. 5 minutes later my wife gets this stunning plate (see pics). I am disappointed that the banh mi took 18 minutes to get to me. A plain roll with great grilled pork, a little garnish, but very plain and sad. Pho DJ serves their's with a cucumber spear, lots of pickled carrots and daicon, cilantro and the bun has a crisp skin, soft center. It has been 5 years since I was last here. Condiments (Sriracha, hoisin, chili oil, pepper and soy sauce) were conveniently available at each table and clean utensils/napkins were later given. To drink, I ordered the passion fruit green tea. The tea was ice cold, sweet and refreshing. For my entree, I opted for the Special Vegetarian Noodle Soup (basically vegetarian pho). Wonderful place! Mrs. Yelper's bowl of shrimp Pho was tasty and full of flavor. I got something with fat noodles (my preference), Banh Lon Xi, which is Vietnamese for BUY THIS. have eaten here a few times. The one star is for service. I ordered a number 11 or whatever the combo iscwith all the meat pho. Specifically asked for no tripe but can you adda little extra tendon instead. Young guy server said yes no prob. Pho comes out, and about 20% of the way through I grab a massive ball or tripe and upon further inspection there was no tendon-he got the order wrong. While this happens his response was not acceptable. He did not offer to add tendon after the fact even after I made it clear the whole reason I ordered the pho was because I like tendon. My family and I have been regular customers at this spot for years and always tip. After today's experience we will not be returning. We finished our food and I went to pay the tab up front. I pressed custom tip and accidentally put 1 dollar trying to do everything fast. I realized right after I pressed submit then went back to ask my table if they had cash to leave because of what happened. We were still sitting at the table getting our cash out and the young server with a hat came up to me and said "oh did I do something wrong, because one dollar tip...." he then laughed and walked away while I was trying to explain. Cold weather made us heading to Pho Restaurant and this place is on our way heading back. Ordered 2 different Pho Noodle which came quick. Mine was containing rare beef and requested egg noodle with $0.99 extra. Upon slurping the soup, I was turn off right away. The soup was luke warm and didn't even close the expectation of hot (temperature) soup, added mine containing rare meat. My advise, when you order, you need to say you want to have your soup super hot in order for you to get a decent soup temperature to avoid disappointment. read more

This is by far THE BEST pho I've ever had! I ordered takeout for the veggie pho and the portions are SO BIG so I don't mind paying the price. Veggies were super fresh, and the broth is SO DELICIOUS. used love love this spot back when i was going to school. i was even a regular 2019-2021. i loved coming here to get the crispy fried chow mein noodles with vegetables, vegetables egg rolls, and plain pho (the broth was phenomenal). sadly i stopped going here because my favorite sever said he was leaving and there was going to be a new owner. i have only been here a couple of times since then. every visit is a reminder that it is not what it used to be. the egg rolls are from when i visited last year and they did not taste good. it was too oily for me but they still had the same side salad as before. pho is also from when i came back in 2019 (the good days lol). my most recent visit was on friday. i am still not impressed. they now changed their menu to have sea food boil options since the last time i went. i feel like they have too much on their menu that they are not focused on preparing the food as nice quality as before. and the prices are wayyyy to much for what you get. we paid almost $60 and only one of us got a full meal. we ordered three appetizers to share and all waters. food: -crispy fried shrimp wonton was mostly more oil than anything (even the plate was full of oil). the size of them was disappointing too. first bite was just wonton. the shrimp seemed just boiled (not in salted water) and it was maybe 1/4 of a shrimp in each wonton. had to drench it in sauce and eat it in one bite to get the whole flavors. 3/10 -tofu spring rolls were alright. the flavors weren't really there but i didn't expect much out of tofu. the back seemed messy like they only wanted to get the presentation right. the rice paper was all crumbled up and hard to bite through. only got a few points for the good crunch and the peanuts. 5/10 -ordered the grilled pork spring rolls but think we were given the grilled pork paste rolls. i believe it was made with spam! this was better than the rest of the appetizer from i was told. had to be eaten as a full meal since other food didn't come. 6/10 -vegetarian fried rice was the best out of everything. the person who ordered it really liked it and said they were happy with that. 8/10 service: this has also gone downhill...before there was a regular server this man would work all tables by himself until one other person came. he always was on top of everything. now there are multiple people and our service was horrible. waters were never refilled, they never once asked how we were, never came back for one of us to order, and never brought a dish to the table but wanted to charge it still. ambiance: it was fine. nothing really special the decor was very modern and lighting was fine. music and tv playing. what didn't impress me was the lack of cleanliness. we were sat on the left side booth next to the table and the wall and items on wall were all filthy. my friend facing the outside also told me the cashier person kept poking their nose which made her lose her appetite. two stars for my good memories of this place but i probably will not be back. pho 81 on van buren and and pho star bowl are better with portions and flavor/quality. read more

They have two branches one located on Van Buren Blvd and the other located by Tyler Mall in Riverside CA. They have a nice overall menu which offers an array of smells, textures and soups. Their portion sizes are good compared to the price they charge. Overall the pricing is decent as inflation is on the rise. They have options for vegetarians and vegans, lots of them! They can come out to be a little rude but again don't take an offend as they are a hard working family. Pay them a visit and you won't regret. read more

You're better off trying any other pho place around the area- ordered a Viet coffee and it was filled with ice to the brim. I didn't order a cup of ice with a side of coffee.. then the person tried to tell me this isn't like Starbucks.. when I asked for less ice.. I'm literally Viet and I've worked at a few pho restaurants and it's nothing like that. The soup broth is decent but pretty lackluster to others around the area and they gave a huge difference in ratio of soup to noodles. Where are the noodles..? Trying this place out for the first time. We drove to the area to try out another Cafè shop for some lite food for late breakfast but ended up finding this HIDDEN JEWEL tucked in the back. With plenty of parking around among other shops adjacent to this Phò Anh, finding a place to park is very convenient. Entrance is through the Double Glass Door inviting ones' self to immerse in the splendid granite tables, green modernized booth seatings, light a scented interior and immaculate cashier area. There are 14-15 tables, seating up to 4. The friendly waiter greeted us immediately and seated us (party of 3) next to the window, allowing us to see the outside world as well as the inside view of the entire establishment. The menu contained so many options from Cajun styled seafood to typical Vietnamese dishes. Since we were here, let's give our taste bud some flavor to decided on. We ordered their Special Noodles Combination, Seafood Fried Rice and Fried Tofu. We are Cambodians so the broth is the key ingredient to any soup base for noodles; the Pho noodles is no exception. After one sip of the broth, it felt like HOME!! Yes, finally a place that serves noodles with home-styled broth. YES AGAIN! The Seafood Combination Rice is very delightful and full of flavor. I asked for a side bowl of the broth and it paired very nicely. The Fried Tofu was awesome epically good (is that even a word!). The tofu was fried just right with lighted tossed batter. If i could rate this place ZERO stars i would. I had the worst experience i've ever had at a restaurant here. A couple of days ago my family and I came here during a "rush" hour. It was unbelievable. We first walked in to not be greeted or even offered a table, Laugh out loud. We got a table ourselves after informing said worker. She then took 30-40 minutes to even bring us water and utensils. She then took another 10 to bring menus. Add another 35 minutes to our wait to even ORDER anything. We then ordered a SHREDDED CHICKEN bowl of Pho, and a BEEF bowl of Pho. When we got our food, a bowl of Shrimp pho was placed on our table.....along with a beef bowl. My boyfriend then went to inform workers that we got the wrong order. The cook came to our table and in a short version he said "Its going to be 30 minutes for your shredded chicken soup , it was your fault anyways" Laugh out loud. I could not believe this man was blaming us for a miscommunication with his server who was rushing through our order to where she could not repeat it back to us .
