Their beef pho was sooooo good. Haven't enjoyed pho like that in a while. The broth alone was super flavorful.. The grilled Mussels appetizer was tasty too especially with the sauce. Without it, not as good so get the sauce. The spring rolls the kids liked. The place was clean, sparkly, bright. Service was nice and accommodating. Prices decent. I really can't wait to come back. Hard to find a place that serves good old fashioned pho. Will come back every single time I'm in the area. read more

Two weeks ago, I had a pretty surprising experience. I've been busy lately, so my wife and I went out for pho to recharge. It was my second visit to this restaurant--my first time a month ago was great, with excellent service and food, so I decided to return. We ordered egg rolls and two phos. The egg rolls came out first, and we enjoyed them while waiting for the pho. When the server brought out the pho and sides, we were shocked to see no bean sprouts, just basil, lime, and jalapeños. I asked why, and the server said they were out of stock. He apologized, saying he should've told us earlier. We asked if there was anything else they could offer instead, and he casually said, 'No, but I can give you more lime, basil, or jalapeños if you want. If not, I'll just take it back.' I understand restaurants can have issues, and he did apologize, but his dismissive attitude afterward--like 'take it or leave it'--really acidulated me. The food and owner are great, and I wanted to be a regular, but now I'm reconsidering. read more

The service here was horrible we came in at were seated waiting to order and they never came to take it even after 45 minutes of waiting. Then they proceeded to take the order of the table next to us although they just came in but they also brought their food. read more

We dropped off one daughter at the university campus and called in our order. We ordered the spring rolls again. This time, the older daughter wanted the Diced Filet Mignon and Onions on Sizzling Plate with Rice. I had the Grilled Pork with Broken Rice. It has gotten cold of late when the sun sets so we also ordered an Egg Noodle Soup with Wonton. We were told that it would be ready in 25 minutes. Food was just about ready at 25 minutes. They were just finishing the Egg Noodle Soup with Wonton. The spring rolls were fresh with crunchy bean sprouts. I am not a meat eater, but sampled a piece and found the beef very tender. It was no wonder that the daughter was enjoying the dish. Daughter asked for some sauce, but then said that she didn't need it when she found the juices from the beef. We reheated the soup, noodles, and wonton in a pot at home. It was excellent. read more

Great food, the service is not very friendly. It does feel a little cramped , but does appear to be fresh.

I used to come here all the time until I moved out of state. I stopped by today to get my usual plate, vermicelli bowl with pork, shrimp & egg-roll. Needless to say I'm disappointed, I couldn't stop by the restaurant cause I'm already 30 minutes away. This can't be an accurate amount of meat for $16.99. I only gave them 2 stars because it did taste good, but you guys gotta do better. read more

Coming from the 626, I would say the food here is decent...maybe not the best. However, for the area it is GREAT. I came here a couple of times and got the Bun Cha Gio chai (rice noodles with freshly fried egg rolls, fresh veggies, and fake fish sauce). I also tried their vegetable pho which was tasty as well. I really liked how the egg rolls were fresh and crispy hot. The food is authentic, and for the price worth the value. The ambiance is clean and open as well. Service was pretty good as well. The server was courteous and observant. He came to fill my water when it was needed, and gave me my check promptly when he saw I finished my meal. They also have booth seats and free parking within a big plaza. read more

Best pho/Vietnamese restaurant in Riverside! I love this restaurant. First time I try it and the coronavirus is fully on, so I had to order to go. I sampled a lot and got the fried shrimp (A4 on the menu), BBQ pork spring rolls (A3), beef pho (#12 no tripe or tendon) & shrimp fried rice. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. And the way they package everything was pretty much flawless. Also I LOVE the chopsticks they give which aren't one of those connected ones that have a bunch of wood splints that are dangerous when split lol. I'd drive all the way out here just to have their food. Food is reasonably priced. Give tip when ya can, especially during this time! #SupportSmallBusiness read more

I would give my experience a ZERO the service is so horrible I went today with my sister and the new owners now are just plain horrible and disrespectful they took forever to seat us and then when we finally got seated they took forever to come to the table to take our order , a restaurant usually gives us water they didn't even do that , as we are ordering an old man was taking our order he said just give me the number no names I just need a number and we were like ok we have a number 2 and 14 then as I wasn't done he was already walking away and seemed irritated as I told him I would like 2 cokes and tries to walk away again while I'm still talking and I said an order of egg rolls and he laughs and walks away as it made me feel very uncomfortable and weird , as we waited for the food it did take long and when they finally brought it out we ate but of course soup takes time to eat it was barely 10mins from the food being out he brought the check to our table when our soup was full still and asked if we needed to take it home then we just continued eating and all the owners and workers sat a table next to us and just watched us eat and laughed a couple times , just staring and we felt super uncomfortable as I felt like we weren't wanted and they just wanted us to leave the restaurant wasn't even full of people there wasn't even any one there that's not the first time they do this and especially the old guy taking the orders should just not be working there he's the rudest one of them all wouldn't recommend at all read more

Honestly, I've been ordering from them for almost two years via door dash. I'd give it five stars even if I get the food delivered cold. But anyways, I was finally able to try the place out in person. Having it fresh was absolutely amazing. Awesome vibes inside and they're really nice. I don't like the surrounding area but I don't really care about that part - you can't change the location am I right? Anyways, I'm never disappointed with Pho Anh. For some insight, I would get pho about once every two weeks. During the "winter" times I would get it once a week. Yes, I've tried everything on the menu already. Yes, I've been going to other pho places in Riverside and surrounding cities. Super flavorful, super delicious. You can't go wrong. read more

Ordered food thru delivery service app rated this pho place 5 stars and me personally wouldn't give them a 1 star ordered wonton noodle soup and meatball pho .. so let's start with the wonton soup they were deep fried wontons .. egg noodle was regular vermicelli.. Meatball soup meatballs were cold and frozen in middle upon dumping Luke warm broth never have I had such bad pho I don't tend to write reviews as much anymore but why serve this to people.. read more

Ordered via yelp and picked up in the restaurant. Arrived in the middle of the window of when it said it would be ready, and it was waiting for us at the counter. My son ordered an iced coffee (with condensed milk) and it had SO much instant (I think?) Coffee in it but somehow made it taste like an iced mocha and was surprisingly good. The condiments/accompaniments to the pho were generous and fresh. The broth was flavorful and rich. The meat and everything else was good. I was slightly confused as to whether or not I got the fresh noodles I paid extra for on all three bowls or not since I'm used to seeing the wider fresh noodles and they were also more chewy like the typical non-fresh noodles. I don't think I actually got fresh noodles, but it was still good. We also ordered the crispy noodles with beef and it was also delicious. I will be back to hopefully finally try their fresh noodles. read more

Pho Anh - Rare steak and flank pho - Vietnamese Near Me - Riverside, California

The service has always been great and the food has been delicious! As someone originally from OC, where viet peeps are a-plenty along with great pho places, this place makes Riverside feel more at home! A previous reviewer posted a nasty review previously talking about "horrible service" and "terrible food". What she neglected to tell yall is that they ordered their food ahead to eat inside the restaurant and leave quickly. When they called, they were warned that the food might not be as fresh. That's their fault. They're the ones who decided to call ahead and have their food made before they came. Also, they wanted their food REDONE when it got busy, and somehow it's their servers fault??? Where is the logic???? Then, instead of a tip, they wrote "BAD SERVICE, BAD FOOD" at the bottom. Now, I realize tipping isn't mandatory, but putting that was unnecessary. Oh. They also neglected to tell you that they TOOK THEIR "TERRIBLE FOOD" TO-GO. Consistency??? They don't know her??? Yeah, f off Athena. read more

Place was good, we came for the first time when the storm hit since all other pho spots near us were closed early due to the storm. Customer service was great! Food flavor was definitely there. To go containers were ok, doesn't keep food hot enough for long car rides (20 min). read more

Food is delicious!! I always ask for extra broth, and they are so generous. Everyone is kind and attentive.

One of the more expensive Pho places in the area, the food for me was mediocre at best.

Food was pretty good me and my bf decided to stop by about an hr or so before they closed as our first time and based on reviews it could be a hit or miss but we liked it honestly food was pretty tasty. The only thing was we waited about 30 mins for our food but everything else was great service was good as well I recommend for sure. read more

Bro, people are complaining about you. Yeah, I'm talking to the dipstick who is the cashier. Don't act like your sh*t don't stank. Food is ok and OVERPRICED. There aren't many Viet restaurants around here, so homeboy thinks he can get away with the 'tude and still generate business. He and most of the patrons were not wearing masks...hope they're all vaccinated...but there are still variants, stupid dum dums. *Btw, those 5 star reviews...very likely were bribed with a free soda. There's a sign that says they'll give you a free soda if you give them a 5 star review. So I guess people can be bought with just $1 sodas now, huh? Glad I'm just passing through this town and not stuck with going to this local restaurant. #Poopourri #GardenGrovePorVida read more

I knew something is wrong about the restaurant when I saw the sign posted said post a 5 star review for a free soda. Who wouldn't want a free soda in exchange for a good review ? For restaurant who hold up to the highest standard about honest food review allow diners to check in for a free soda with no incentives. In the reviews, people mention best pho in town ? I don't think so because the pho is below average and overpriced. You can get good pho in Westminster with a good price and good service. I ordered the egg noodle with wonton, shrimp, and chicken, salt and pepper shrimp, and pho combination. There were six small wontons like two molecules from chemistry, two small shrimps, and dry chicken. The soup was okay and wasn't as flavorful I thought would be. The pho is super salty I feel the chef put loads of msg in there. Everything goes down hill from there. As my boyfriend and I were eating, the owner and waiters were talking about life. The waiter didn't check on us asking if the food is good, refill our waters, and just kept talking. The service is not good. I still left them a tip. Today I order from the restaurant again thinking the food will change and the food remains salty. I drank loads of water. The owner just stare down at my boyfriend when he pick up my food inside the restaurant. I'm pretty sure he knows who we are since we came there yesterday. The attitude of the business owner is not acceptable. I will not come back here again due to lack of good customer service and average food. If you could go somewhere for pho, I definitely suggest that. read more

OMG HANDS DOWN BEST PHO I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! And that's saying a lot because I had a Vietnamese chef best friend who took me to so many authentic pho places! He always told me you can tell a great pho if you didn't need to add anything to the broth! Yet I had never come across a place where I didn't wanna saturate with hoisin sauce and sriracha. This place I didn't use neither! The broth was soooo good I felt it took away from the taste! The owner Phan said they simmer their bone broth over night hence why such the strong flavor! Phan recommended the filet mignon pho saying it was a world of a difference! And man was he right!!! I compared with my boyfriends rare steak pho and it truly was a difference!! My son who doesn't like to get the steak even kept asking me for more of my meat! At the end I smelled the chili oil paste and the smell was divine!!! So I tried it and OMG was so sad I didn't use it for my whole bowl! I ranted and raved to the owner who also explained that you can judge a place by their chili oil paste! Oh man I can't wait to go back! The service and the kindness of Phan just added to our experience!!! I almost gave up on finding a good pho place out here but so thankful I tried here and now have an epic pho place just down the street! read more
