I would give my experience a ZERO the service is so horrible I went today with my sister and the new owners now are just plain horrible and disrespectful they took forever to seat us and then when we finally got seated they took forever to come to the table to take our order , a restaurant usually gives us water they didn't even do that , as we are ordering an old man was taking our order he said just give me the number no names I just need a number and we were like ok we have a number 2 and 14 then as I wasn't done he was already walking away and seemed irritated as I told him I would like 2 cokes and tries to walk away again while I'm still talking and I said an order of egg rolls and he laughs and walks away as it made me feel very uncomfortable and weird , as we waited for the food it did take long and when they finally brought it out we ate but of course soup takes time to eat it was barely 10mins from the food being out he brought the check to our table when our soup was full still and asked if we needed to take it home then we just continued eating and all the owners and workers sat a table next to us and just watched us eat and laughed a couple times , just staring and we felt super uncomfortable as I felt like we weren't wanted and they just wanted us to leave the restaurant wasn't even full of people there wasn't even any one there that's not the first time they do this and especially the old guy taking the orders should just not be working there he's the rudest one of them all wouldn't recommend at all read more

We dropped off one daughter at the university campus and called in our order. We ordered the spring rolls again. This time, the older daughter wanted the Diced Filet Mignon and Onions on Sizzling Plate with Rice. I had the Grilled Pork with Broken Rice. It has gotten cold of late when the sun sets so we also ordered an Egg Noodle Soup with Wonton. We were told that it would be ready in 25 minutes. Food was just about ready at 25 minutes. They were just finishing the Egg Noodle Soup with Wonton. The spring rolls were fresh with crunchy bean sprouts. I am not a meat eater, but sampled a piece and found the beef very tender. It was no wonder that the daughter was enjoying the dish. Daughter asked for some sauce, but then said that she didn't need it when she found the juices from the beef. It's been over a year since this 5 star place was our favorite. I believe there's new owners. The first entree was the diced filet mignon on sizzling platter. A vary tender beef and vegetables with white rice, took about 10 minutes. Very, very good. I am disappointed I waited 7 more minutes for a banh Mi sandwich and a spring rolls. Fantastic quality like always. Just disappointed sitting waiting for the rest of the order. My wife was almost done by the time we got my meal, our appetizer. Coming from the 626, I would say the food here is decent...maybe not the best. However, for the area it is GREAT. I came here a couple of times and got the Bun Cha Gio chai (rice noodles with freshly fried egg rolls, fresh veggies, and fake fish sauce). I also tried their vegetable pho which was tasty as well. I really liked how the egg rolls were fresh and crispy hot. The food is authentic, and for the price worth the value. The ambiance is clean and open as well. Service was pretty good as well. The server was courteous and observant. He came to fill my water when it was needed, and gave me my check promptly when he saw I finished my meal. Best pho/Vietnamese restaurant in Riverside! I love this restaurant. First time I try it and the coronavirus is fully on, so I had to order to go. I sampled a lot and got the fried shrimp (A4 on the menu), BBQ pork spring rolls (A3), beef pho (#12 no tripe or tendon) & shrimp fried rice. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. And the way they package everything was pretty much flawless. Also I LOVE the chopsticks they give which aren't one of those connected ones that have a bunch of wood splints that are dangerous when split lol. Honestly, I've been ordering from them for almost two years via door dash. I'd give it five stars even if I get the food delivered cold. But anyways, I was finally able to try the place out in person. Having it fresh was absolutely amazing. Awesome vibes inside and they're really nice. I don't like the surrounding area but I don't really care about that part - you can't change the location am I right? Anyways, I'm never disappointed with Pho Anh. For some insight, I would get pho about once every two weeks. During the "winter" times I would get it once a week. Yes, I've tried everything on the menu already. Ordered via yelp and picked up in the restaurant. Arrived in the middle of the window of when it said it would be ready, and it was waiting for us at the counter. My son ordered an iced coffee (with condensed milk) and it had SO much instant (I think?) Coffee in it but somehow made it taste like an iced mocha and was surprisingly good. The condiments/accompaniments to the pho were generous and fresh. The broth was flavorful and rich. The meat and everything else was good. I was slightly confused as to whether or not I got the fresh noodles I paid extra for on all three bowls or not since I'm used to seeing the wider fresh noodles and they were also more chewy like the typical non-fresh noodles. I don't think I actually got fresh noodles, but it was still good. We also ordered the crispy noodles with beef and it was also delicious. There were six small wontons like two molecules from chemistry, two small shrimps, and dry chicken. The soup was okay and wasn't as flavorful I thought would be. The pho is super salty I feel the chef put loads of msg in there. Everything goes down hill from there. As my boyfriend and I were eating, the owner and waiters were talking about life. The waiter didn't check on us asking if the food is good, refill our waters, and just kept talking. The service is not good. I still left them a tip. Today I order from the restaurant again thinking the food will change and the food remains salty. I drank loads of water. The owner just stare down at my boyfriend when he pick up my food inside the restaurant. I'm pretty sure he knows who we are since we came there yesterday. The thing that it's going to make not to come back is that the server was very rude, he yelled my autistic 4 year old son because he almost dropped his drink on the table ; there's other ways that this situation handled. He always told me you can tell a great pho if you didn't need to add anything to the broth! Yet I had never come across a place where I didn't wanna saturate with hoisin sauce and sriracha.
