#1 Pho Đặc Biệt w/ vinegar onions
    Johnny D.

Best Pho Đặc Biệt I've had in a while. The tripe was excellent and meat balls are superbly superior to other pho places. Broth was also excellent. Very friendly staff too. Will def be returning

I was craving some pho after the gym so I came to Pho DJ. When I walked inside, the older gentleman directed me very politely to sit at table 1. I ordered the #3 pho with tendon, brisket, and tripe. It was absolutely delicious, the broth was extremely flavorful and the meat was tasty and tender. The only con I would say is they serve slightly too many noodles per bowl and the broth gets soaked up a bit, not that serious. The older woman and man who I presume to be the owners were extremely kind. I WILL be back!!

    #1 Special XL #21 Chicken

Had never had pho before until now and it was a great experience! The owners were very nice and accommodating despite us coming in 45 minutes before close and the food came out very fast! The dining area was very clean as well and well stocked with condiments. Oh boy was the food great! The broth, meat, veggies everything was super fresh and almost rejuvenating i felt like a new man after eating. Great deal too man i only paid 32 for two bowls one being the xl #1 pho bowl and second #21 chicken pho bowl. Great experience, Great place, extremely underrated. Going to be coming back very often

    Taro milk tea ??
    Diana M.

The customer service is horrible here- at least if you are interacting with the Female that answers the phone and takes your orders at the cashier. I attempted to place a telephone order for Boba milk tea but she rushed me off the phone and told me just to come in to place my order instead of going over the flavors they had over the phone. When I arrived she was on the phone having a personal conversation and seemed inconvenienced to have to take my order. I repeated to her twice that I wanted Taro (once as she walked away from me still on the phone). I sat and waited for my drinks to come out. When they were ready she walked out and placed the drinks on a random table (not where i was seated) and didn't once glance or address me to let me know they were mine. Keep in mind I was looking for a purple/ lavender looking drink and these were light brown. The Man that also works there noticed I had been waiting for a while and asked me if I had been helped. I mentioned I was waiting for my drinks. The lady above then came rushing out and pointed at the drinks sitting at this vacant table and said those are your drinks and then walked away again without much further. I took the drinks home thinking maybe their Taro was super light in the purple color but there was not hint of taro flavor. The drink was light brown in color. The flavor was dilute. I took a picture for this review specifically and moved on. Until today, my wife without prior knowledge of my above mentioned experience told me she tried their Pho this morning after donating plasma next door. She had a similar experience from the lady. The pho itself the flavor was "okay" not enough broth too much noodles. She said she just tasted noodles. Can't speak for the food myself though.

the food was very oily/greasy and the meat was all fat. I've been before a couple months ago and it was not like this before. the people are nice but I do not think I will be back. topping veggies were also brown

Got the #13. Pretty good but a little bland: the front desk lady was a bit rude :/ over all 3/5

The food was decent, but a bit bland - I'd rate it 3/5. Service felt a little rude, though the ambiance was quiet and peaceful. Not terrible, but I wouldn't rush back.

    Vietnamese iced coffee
    Sarah G.

Today I ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, with condensed milk as opposed to black (the menu gives you this choice). It was $4, plus 75¢ for paying with a card (yikes, my bad), and they could not take my Discover card but Visa was fine. It tasted good and made me happy. I love to see how different places make their Viet coffee. This place makes freshly crushed ice for your coffee, which fills the plastic cup to the top with ice. For me, I have a feeling I'm getting less liquid with this kind of ice but I haven't done any experimenting to confirm. I have eaten here before and enjoyed the spring rolls, too.

Overpriced. The lady charges you what she wants, never goes by prices on menu. Even charged me $3 because I asked for extra limes!!!

Service was extremely slow for it not being busy. They were a bit stingy on the lemon wedges and veggies. There were three of us and we ordered three bowls of Pho. We got one small plate of veggies and two lemon wedges. When we asked for more lemons, waiter looked over at our table to make sure we actually needed more lemons. When we asked for a sauce plate/cup, he looked bothered. Well next time just put little sauce plates on the table and we wouldn't have to ask you to get it. Like how do they not know people like to dip their meats in Siracha and Hoison sauce. Not everyone just pours it into the bowl. When we ordered our Pho, we also ordered a Banh Mi sandwich as a to go order. At the end of our meal, my wife went to pay and the check included the price with the sandwhich. She paid and asked how long the sandwich would take, they said, "what sandwich!" Uh, the one we just paid for. Cashier looked confused and asked to see the receipt. Then he went to the back and asked about the sandwich. We could hear someone in the back saying they didn't make a sandwich. Cashier apologized and we waited another 12 minutes for the sandwich. Pho was actually good but a bit on the pricey side. $20 for the Dac Biet. Next time we'll just go to Pho Ha down the street for better noodles at a cheaper price and they won't charge you for a sandwich that doesn't exist.

The pho was the better of the two. I liked the vegan spiced beef meatballs but the airy and light fried tofu in the pho didn't feel texturally comparable to sliced beef in pho. I also didn't feel like there was enough protein in the bowl, since normally pho is packed with a variety of different meats. The flavor of the soup was nice and the amount of noodles was satisfactory as well. The banh mi was not so good. I liked the crinkle cut radish and carrots but that's about all. The sliced beef meatballs and the fried tofu again didn't really evoke the taste and texture of meat in a banh mi, and the protein was basically just a few thin non-overlapping slices per section of the sandwich. The worst offender-- the sandwich was dry. Vegan should mean vegan mayo, not no mayo at all. It was sooooo dry. I had to take it home and add my own mayo. I don't hate this restaurant, and I really appreciate the willingness to incorporate a vegan friendly menu. However, the pho and banh mi missed the mark for me. I think I'd just order different items next time, like some of the saucy stir fry plates instead.
