Keep in mind they do not take reservations and only seat you (or prepare to seat you once your full party is present) which is totally fair and honestly not that bad of a wait even on Mother's day. The waitress also offered to take our large order ahead of being seated so there would be minimal time waiting for our food over seated which was very thoughtful. Onto the food, YUM! Our table ordered a variety of their vermicelli bowls (short rib, chicken, grilled pork+shrimp), Pho (special combo and brisket), eggrolls, thai iced tea, and vietnamese iced coffee. Everything we ordered was so delicious and there were generous portions of meat in all of our dishes. The fish sauce that came with the vermicelli bowls was super delicious and tasted so much more flavorful than any other Vietnamese restaurant I've dined at. Pretty much we're dining at someone's home, but with a beautiful view of the city to top it off. I walked through the left side of the house and was seated immediately. The broth had great flavor--rich without being overly oily. The meat ratio was generous, but I personally would have preferred more noodles and a little less meat. Still, definitely one of the better bowls I've had flavor-wise. The pork egg rolls were tasty, but the sauce it came with--not your typical sweet chili, something much better The vermicelli noodles were fresh and vibrant, and the fish sauce had a nice little kick that pulled everything together. I liked the egg roll so much that I want to come back and get them as an appetizer next time. -service, very friendly and kind -prices, they were reasonable for the area and the typical California Newsom taxes.... I was pretty skeptical at first bc 1) all these 5 star reviews and barely (if any) less than that 2) the place was behind a house? BUT let me tell you The broth for the combination pho was something else. Even my husband was like, wow this doesn't taste like the ones from other restaurants, definitely more flavor and super good. We ordered to go and it was still piping hot by the time I got home to cook the raw meat perfectly. So much meat and all these sides were packaged well separately so it tasted very fresh. We also got the bbq pork vermicelli I highly recommend this. The meat is very tender and super flavorful and the sauce they give is addicting (I wish I asked for an extra sauce bc u can like drink it it's so good, kind of like a spicy fish sauce). The veggies with this dish were also a nice touch and fresh and the peanuts added a great crunch! The fried eggrolls come in 4 and they were cooked literally when I ordered. Very meaty and full. Everything is super fresh and made to order. The place is different bc it is behind a house but once u go to the back it literally looks like a little restaurant with heaters and tables and chairs and even a little tv. Also has decorations that definitely gives off a vibe like a legit restaurant. I would definitely come back again!! I'm giving them 5 stars because they have really good food and they pulled off running a restaurant out of a house. The "restaurant" is on the patio of a house in a neighborhood full of houses, not a business in sight. There's a nice view from their patio. We were the only ones there around 1 PM on a Saturday afternoon. But the food was good, so I guess others just haven't heard of it yet. I had the BBQ pork with vermicelli. It was filling and delicious. Next time I'm in Corona, I will try them again. read more

We tried this place because we keep seeing it pop up on social media. It's in the backyard of a home which is pretty cool but understand that means no parking. Service was really slow even though we went at opening and it was only us and folks at another table. They didn't have Thai tea because the lady said they forgot to make it. Pho itself was good but nothing to rave about. Priced a bit high for not having much overhead as far as leasing a building. Staff appeared to just be family and they were all super nice and welcoming. Wish I could say this place is amazing but it's just ok. It's not bad or great, just ok. read more

12/27/24 I leave this review with mixed feelings coz it should be kept as our secret spot but I cannot contain my DELIGHT at the wondrous flavors of this HOME-COOKED meal. My friends have been raving & talking about how great this place is I finally get the chance today. What luck! We are the only customers & we met Lee & Tram, the husband & wife team whose brainchild is this aptly named Tiny Saigon. Hubby & I have been scouring places to get authentic Vietnamese food, from Westminster to Garden Grove, been to places that have since closed (Vietnam Garden in Artesia, Pho Hoa in Westminster) & are usually disappointed. Now we have found our Mecca! Tram welcomed us, like she was letting us into her home, very charming & sweet. We sat by the jacuzzi. Love the open air patio, so homey. Ordered spring rolls to start. Hubby knew he wanted tendon pho ' I went with bun, Tram recommended the traditional bbq pork--best decision ever!!! Met Lee, a bit shy but with a ready smile as he fired up the grill. Folks, we weren't prepared to be WOWED by the exciting & explosive flavors that assaulted our palates! It's like a party in our mouths! How the tastes just danced in our tongues! Just the sauce (nuoc cham) -- Tram's own recipe--this should be bottled & trade marked, she could make a killing from this sauce!!! Oh my! Fresh spring rolls had an herbaceous aroma & taste. Hubby's pho--love it, the broth had a depth of umaminess that surpassed our love for Pho 2000. My bbq bun, I just kept saying OMG width every bite, so do so good. It has a great while since we've ooohed & aahhed about a place, it's amazing. Tram stopped by & graciously spoke with us. I have to find & read The NY Times article when they interviewed them. I can tell that they put their love into the dishes they prepared & they care about loyal customers. It is the reason that they opened their home to share their home made dishes instead of a stand alone restaurant.
