I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and saw that this place opened up recently. Large menu and a large seating area. The decor is modern and bright. I came here mainly to try their banh beo ($11.48) which are tiny plates of steamed rice cakes with bits of dried shrimp, chicharron, and scallion oil served with a dipping of fish sauce. It's hard to find restaurants that do it but I was happy to find this place. I also got their coconut water and a taro smoothie to try for myself and chicken fried rice for my family to try. I was really excited when this place opened because it's so close to home, and I was hoping it would become our new go-to pho spot. The restaurant itself has a modern look and feel, which I really like. The food is decent, but I'd say it's pretty average overall. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. Our first visit was during their grand opening, and it was packed. Service wasn't great, but I gave them plenty of grace since they were brand new and obviously trying to get into a rhythm. A couple of weeks later, we decided to give them another chance. It was only moderately busy this time, but unfortunately the service was just as disappointing. We had to remind our server about our waters, drinks were either incorrect or never came out, and when we tried to let someone know, we were brushed off instead of helped. The most frustrating part came at the end of our meal. Our server insisted we hadn't paid our bill, even after we showed him our receipt. Instead of checking with the cashier first, he argued with us before finally confirming that we had, in fact, already paid. Then we purchased a dessert to go at the register, but it was never brought out. When we asked about it, we were told the order had never been seen, and they initially tried to charge us a second time before realizing the mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, especially at a new restaurant. What disappointed me wasn't that errors happened. It was how they were handled. A simple apology and a willingness to verify what happened would have gone a long way. Instead, we felt like we had to defend ourselves over issues that weren't our fault. I had the Xe Lua pho. My husband had the pho with rib bone (which was soft & tender, almost fell off the bone). The bowl of pho was perfectly portioned with their meats, they had a bit too much noodles but all in all the soup was comforting. Not too salty or too much MSG. Finally we found a spot in the IE that has Banh Khot! It was SO GOOD! It needed to a bit more crispier but I would def come back for this. We saw a new restaurant opened up, so of course we had to go in to support. I think this place will succeed because not only are they super clean and modern, but their menu combines both the traditional dishes we and our families love and have their own modern fusion twists for some. I'd also like to point out names like "Wok the Pho" had me laughing for a bit because I'm pretty sure whoever was working on the menu was having too much fun. Our servers were also super friendly and funny. We had a younger gentleman offer to take our order, only to realize he didn't have the handheld with him and asked us to wait while he ran off to get it. The honesty and moment was very cute and gave us a good laugh. Now onto the food. I took a while to decide because everything sounded so good so I definitely need to come back to try the appetizers I missed. Pho 7 Ha Special - The broth was very rich and light, so I liked sipping it to help wash everything down. My husband also got a lot of meat in this. He said the meat was very tender and he felt like he had a full meal after. Mi Xao Don Hai San (Crispy Fried Noodles with Seafood) - This really hit the spot for me. I wasn't even craving this until I saw it on the menu. They do not skimp out on the seafood and actually gave me a lot of shrimp and imitation crab, which was great to complement the crispy noodle texture. Fries with BBQ Pork - This was probably my favorite of the night. The fries were super crispy and the pork was super flavorful and was not burnt. The sauce it came with was also perfect for the fries. The drinks is where I actually have a complaint. So the matcha milk tea was actually made to perfection. Highly recommend this one. It tasted as if they specialized in matcha milk tea. My problem was more on the oolong milk tea. It was SO sweet. It tasted like it was 300% sugar. I ended drinking water for my meal and took it home, split it into 3 different cups. Mixing with milk was still too sweet, I had to mix with water for it to be at a level I could handle. I don't think I'd get the oolong milk tea again just because it was way too sweet. My husband got the same and said his was too sweet too. But the matcha was perfect. I'll probably stick with the matcha for next time unless they lessen the sugar for the oolong milk tea. read more

I've been waiting for them to finally open! They just opened last Friday, and everything is clean and brand new. Ample indoor booth and table seating, condiments and utensils at each table. Pho 7 Ha is open Monday-Friday from 9:30 AM to 10 PM. We started with the drinks -- I ordered the Thai tea, which had the perfect level of sweetness. My wife tried the Melon Mist, and it was refreshing, sweet, and nicely carbonated. We also ordered the pork and shrimp spring rolls. I'm usually not a big fan of spring rolls in general, but these were surprisingly flavorful. The peanut sauce really elevated the dish and tied everything together well. I'd rate the spring rolls a 7/10 on their own, but with the sauce, the overall experience was closer to an 8.5/10. For my main dish, I ordered the #102 Pho Filet Mignon. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the filet mignon was tender and cooked perfectly in the hot broth. The portion size was generous and definitely satisfying. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very busy during our visit, so there was a bit of a wait before we could place our meal order. Went for 85° bakery but fell in love with pho 7 ha. This place looks warm and cozy and clean too. I was amazed by its decorations, even the restrooms looks pretty too. I luckily went by the time they had Happy Hour for appetizers. So, i called for an order of chicken egg rolls. I asked a server named Chris for a recommendation of another dish. He was so friendly and kind. He talked patiently to me although I was blown away by looking at the menu and saw how abundance of Vietnamese dishes are. Eventhough I kept changing my mind about the dish, in the end, I came up with the Sizzling tofu & vegetables. Chris was so nice when he also showed to me that the restaurant has "Buy 1 get 1 free" for drinks. I tried their Vietnamese café and soda chanh. They were really good, especially for the café. The food and drinks came out really fast, likes 10 minutes. The chicken egg rolls were crispy and had many flavors when they were dripped in the sweet and sour fish sauce. Nice combination. The restaurant has a modern feel with the decor and lighting. I ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup and a Salted Plum Soda. The soup comes with egg noodles and wontons that are filled with shrimp and a nice broth as well. I will definitely order this next time I visit. First time at Pho Ha 7, and we were not impressed. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. I don't know if we came on a bad night or what, but it wasn't busy, so we got our table right away. After that, however, we had to wait 15-20 minutes just for water when the people who came in after us had already gotten theirs. When we got the fried shrimp balls we ordered, they smelled amazing, but sadly the taste did not match. You couldn't even taste the shrimp at all; it was just salty. As for the pho, the cinnamon stick was left in too long and was very overpowering. The beef lemongrass vermicelli bowl was disappointing because it was lacking the lemongrass flavor, which it's known for. The chef either didn't beat/bruise the lemongrass before throwing it in the broth to simmer and bring out the flavor, or they simply took it out too soon. We do have to say both bowls of soup had a decent amount of meat. Now the dessert, for some reason, was sour, like the half-and-half was left out too long and it was spoiled or because of all the syrups, the canned fruits, and the jellies that were kept in. Don't know for sure, but we will definitely not be ordering the dessert ever again. We definitely want to come back another day to try other dishes because the food wasn't bad, but it was missing a few key flavors known for what we ordered. Also, we can't say for sure, but the food seems to have a little too much MSG for our taste, but once in a while it won't hurt us (my man does need to drink more water, so that helps, I guess) read more

Stopped by Pho Ha 7 because we saw they recently opened and their menu outside looked good. Pho is one of my favorite soups so i knew i had to try. Inside looks really fancy and nice. The tables even had a drawer that had spoons, and sauce plates. The bathroom was also really clean and had cute floral wallpaper. The waiters were really nice and helpful when ordering. The menu is extensive but i will say unfortunately some items listed were not available such as the bahn mi. The waiter explained they cannot sell it because there is another bahn mi spot across the way. It was a little disappointing because that's what my bf wanted to order but we understood it wasn't their fault. We then decided to order their custom pho with brisket, rare steak, and fatty brisket as well as an order of chicken egg rolls. Also they have promotion right not where they are giving free drinks with any purchase. So we also got a Thai tea and lychee tea. Both were really good and the lychee tea had real lychee fruit. The service here was disappointing to say the least. We recently dined here for lunch on a Sunday. We came in with a party of 5. Several of my friends ordered a rice dish, and the rest of us ordered pho noodle. The rice dishes came out in 10 mins, however the pho noodles came out after 30 mins. By this time, my friends who ordered rice dishes were already finished eating. The rest of us had to wait after 30 mins to receive our pho noodles. We started with the iced coconut drink and the oolong milk tea, and both were refreshing and delicious. My only critique of the coconut drink is that it could have used a bit more fresh coconut, and the pieces seemed slightly underripe. A softer, sweeter coconut would have elevated the drink even more.
