Chinatown has been my go-to Chinese food spot since childhood, and it's still one of my favorites to this day. The food is always great, the portions are huge, and you definitely get your money's worth. One thing I really appreciate is that they finally started accepting credit cards and are no longer cash only. They also got rid of the whole ATM situation that used to force customers to pull out cash and deal with extra transaction fees, which makes the experience so much better and more convenient now. It's awesome seeing a longtime local spot improve while still keeping the same great food and generous portions. This will continue to be my childhood Chinese food spot for years to come! read more

The go to menu item is the house special fried chicken. My mom used to work across the street at Kaiser and would tell me about this place. Her co workers would usually come here and get the house special chicken for their potlucks. Growing up my mom would also get it for parties and I loved it. Fast forward to the present and I was hosting for my sons birthday party and stumbled on this place again. The pictures I attached was $15 and included the sauce and rice. By it self it was so delicious. The catering prices I believe was $50-60 for the half try and $110 for the large one. I ended up picking the large tray and it was a party hit. The food is pretty decent i usually judge Chinese fast food by the way they good chicken and how they cook bbq pork and the chicken was not dry and the pork seasoning was pretty good compared to a lot of other places in riverside. The service was a bit slow as they took time packing the food but I didn't mind because they freshly cut the teriyaki and bbq pork in front of you. First found out about this place because a coworker ordered the house special chicken for lunch. Sooo good. If you're Filipino, it tastes like lechon kawali but chicken instead of pork! They also give you a fair amount for the price paid also. My husband likes the spicy orange chicken, which is very flavorful and crispy. Not too sweet like some orange chicken is prepared, which I like and the perfect amount of spice, not too overbearing where flavor is hindered. I recommend ordering ahead because they get busy and the house special chicken takes about 20 minutes to make. One star off because I like to order ahead but I get off of work at 7:30pm and they close at 8pm and I work across the street from this place - they usually give me a difficult time when ordering, which is understandable. I and my wife like this place very much. Everything and everywhere prices have gone up, so no need to quibble over cost. Here the owner(s) realize this so their portions are huge it's worth it. More bang for your buck, as they say. I eat much, I shouldn't but I do. My wife eats little. She gets the Teriyaki Bowl, or one item combo; I get the two item. At times I get Teriyaki. I figure can't go wrong with "protein". The second is another protein with much vegetables or I order a medium container of veggies (I like their eggplant with tofu). This is still a lot of food so for couple days we stretch out the rice and noodles. I loved their fried rice but I am happy with their steamed rice. Rice, I have cut back on, I just eat a couple of teaspoonfuls, same as their noodles, I just have few strands. I have tried their egg rolls and THEY ARE DELICIOUS, but I'll succumb to having one. My bro in law and my wife's sister live out of California, my wife's brother lives here locally and his kids so we can all eat well on a few orders. I find no problems with the service, China Town is a good place, I am originally from Orange County and really can not recall a place like this. Try it you'll like it.
