This is the second time my parents ordered takeout from here. This time we got the combination fried rice (chicken, shrimp, and beef). I didn't see the exact price, but judging by the amount of meat in one order and the Yelp menu price ($7.50), it was pretty good. Also, the walnut shrimp is becoming my favorite dish at this place. They should just say they open at 11 am and closes at 3 pm because they're never actually open at 10 am or open past 3. I frequent the laundry mat next door and each time ever tried to get food from here it says open and they're not open. read more

I think it's particularly relevant my location. I'm based off the magnolia exit and the 15. I've SEARCHED for literal years for something as good as magic wok in Norco after they closed. I've traveled literal cities (within local reason) for the best Chinese takeout and finally (I think) found it. Bountiful portions, fantastic price, and meaty ratios for their entrees? I'm only mad I didn't find them sooner. I give very, even brutally honest reviews, so don't take this lightly, I didn't know what to get. It *ALL*' looked so good. I'm not "close" to this location but I'll be driving the x miles to them. Service wasn't spectacular enough to mention nor is it any way offensive. The lady was nice but nothing they said rocked my socks off. TLDR: it was say what you want and tbfh that's all it should be for take out Chinese. We didn't sit down so I know nothing of the ambiance. So far imma be fed for another day and I'll enjoy every minute of it as left overs. One strong negative for me is maybe this batch of veggies was a little too heavy on the fish sauce? If that's not an ingredient then maybe look into it? Food look decent although looks like on the dry side. I am pretty sure the place does not belong to the original/previous owner. I ordered a 3 items combo, Orange Ck, Jalapeno CK and the string beans. I kid u not, orange ck was the worst. I have never been to a place that butchered an orange ck dish. Jalapeno CK just looked like orange ck, only a little spicy. String bean taste ok however the ck taste kinda off. Fried rice and chowmein just plain unflavored and dry. I really do not want to be mean here, but my son had diarrhea after eating the food. I am still hoping that it wasn't from the food, then I got an upset stomach. Great cheap Chinese food! Since I'm new to the area and there are so many of these chain restaurants around, I decided to give it a try. Prices are reasonable for Chinese food. Great portions. I got a 2 item combo and both entrees were flavorful. The chow mein was good. The noodles are a little chewy, which I like. The fried rice could use a little of work though. It's pretty white, as you can see in the photo. Missing some egg and flavor. Could also be fried a little bit longer as well. According to the pictures, seems like their fried rice is inconsistent. I would skip on the fried rice if it's white like this next time and get all chow mein or half steamed rice. read more

I fear that I just lost my go-to Chinese food spot. The inside prior to the management change was dated but cozy and inviting. Now they are shifting to a more modern look...no more menu boards only random channels playing all at once. The food presented in the line to choose from were sad looking. The Broccoli beef was beginning to resemble jerky. I decided to go with whatever looked the freshest, the jalapeno chicken and the bbq pork was what I chose. The jalapeno chicken was what kept me coming back to this place. Unfortunately that won't continue to be the case. Upon opening my box I observed that I was served dried out jalapeños with a microscopic amount of protein. Saying that the chicken was lacking flavor is an understatement. The bbq beef was good but most pieces were tough to chew. I'm not sure if it was cooked for too long, or if it sat out on display for too long. I always go for the chow mein due to the fact that I don't like fried rice. They only had about half a serving left and I asked the man if they were planning to make more. He told me that would be willing to make more, but wanted me to order rice instead. I told him that I was willing to wait. After waiting about 10 minutes the chow mein was ready. We left with our meals only to find out at home that our cream cheese Rangoons were not included in our order. Given this overall experience I don't think we'll be back. read more

Walked in to a different girl at the counter and food looked different. Asked about the girl and was told they are new owners since late Feb. Food sucked, orange chicken tasted kinda like bbq, mushroom chicken had 1 piece of chicken and 10 large uncooked onions, fried rice was boring and dry even with soy sauce. The cost is higher and the plate is smaller. I will never be back! The photo of my fortune made us laugh because it says "May you have a good appetite." I have been coming to this restaurant for the many years. This was the go to place, they would serve you very generous portions for a good price. Food WAS made fresh, Rarely did you see a tray of food sit there under the heating lamp. Today's experience was very different, the food (orange chicken, Kung -pao chicken & Beef was poorly made.) Poor quality was at its lowest. Food was salty, dried and meat had NO flavor. Apparently this business is under new management or ownership. I won't be coming here any more. The only reason I'm giving it a two star is because I'm supporting small businesses during these challenging times. But this place needs to hire the previous cooks. read more

I have been a long time customer of this restaurant and recently learned it's under new management. I placed an order for $95 worth of food only to get home and find part of the order missing. In addition, the containers they used became completely soaked and soggy, leaking inside the bags, in my car and all over my kitchen. When I called to try and get the missing items, Kevin argued with me. I'm disappointed we have lost one of our favorite spots! read more
