I was craving some fried fish and saw that they had a spicy fried fish dish so I wanted to try it. The space was nice and clean and the cashier was very friendly. It didn't come with rice so I had to order that separately and I also ordered there mixed vegetables. I really enjoyed the fish. Not as spicy as I would like but crispy and seasoned well. Rice is rice and the vegetables were good but they were in this sort of broth like liquid which I could have done without. They are pretty limited on plate combos where you sort of mix and match items to build your own plate so be prepared to order a few entrees if you want to try a few things. We decided to use the China Bros restaurant for a catered event. A friend had used them before and the food was great. We needed to feed about 30-35 people and on their catering menu there was a perfect package. Benny the owner was great. He offered suggestions and tips for our event. He even added a few extras as we were loyal customers. We set up the food in chaffing dishes and it displayed very nicely. Everyone loved it. Sweet & Sour Chicken, kung Pao Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, combination fried rice, and chow mein. It was great. We totally over ordered. We could have reduced our order by 50%. The menu here can be a little intimidating, especially if it is your first time, but it is actually very America friendly. At many Chinese restaurants, entrees do not come with rice, so you have to order it separately if you want it. Here, the chicken, beef, pork, seafood, and vegetable entrees come with a side of steamed rice, with the option to upgrade to fried rice or chow mein for an extra charge. We ordered the general chicken, eggplant tofu, and combination chow mein. Everything came out piping hot and tasted really good. This place does get busy, but the service is fast and efficient. The restaurant offered a free smoothie in exchange for leaving a Yelp review, so I wrote one. When it was time to pay, I noticed that the smoothie had been added to my bill instead of being free. I asked the owner about it, and she said the free promotion only applied to a small smoothie, while the one I received was a large. I explained that I never asked for a large smoothie and wasn't even told there were different sizes. The server simply brought me that drink. The owner then said the server was new and didn't know that only the small size should be given for the promotion. However, she still expected me to pay full price for the large smoothie and offered me an additional free small smoothie instead. I told her that the mistake was made by the restaurant, so I didn't think it was fair for me to pay for it. Since I didn't want to argue any longer, I offered a compromise: deduct the price of the free small smoothie and let me pay only the difference for the large one. A business should take responsibility for its own mistakes instead of passing the cost onto its customers. Unfortunately, this experience means I won't be returning. read more

I'm actually surprised this place has as many stars as it does. It was not great. I came in the evening and placed a to go order (mind you we live less than 10 mins away.) When I got home I saw a few things the veggie egg rolls seemed reheated as did the orange chicken. There were so many orange chicken pieces were hard. It's really too bad because the flavor is actually really good. If it had been freshly made it would have been great! The baby bokchoy was over cooked and stringy. The only thing worth the $50 I spent was the Chowmein. To be honest if your food is good sitting in (cause there was a lot of people there) and not to go that means you lack consistency. The shrimp were fresh, and the sauce was rich and well-balanced. The beef noodle soup? I'd skip next time--the noodles were a bit too chewy for me, though the broth had a nice white pepper kick and the meat itself was tender. We got a flyer in the mail, so we decided to check this new place out. We were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted to eat in or take out, and we said eat in. We could sit wherever we wanted and were immediately given a menu and egg drop soup, which I wasn't expecting. It was nice and hot which tasted good since it was a cold day. The food is what you'd typically find at a Chinese fast food place, but when you say you want to eat in, it's a mix of a traditional sit down restaurant where you order at your table, get actual plates and utensils, and are waited on. Our waiter was attentive despite there being quite a few people coming in to pick up their take out. The place is new, so everything is clean and modern. Like even the bathroom mirror had buttons on it which confused me until I realized it was a defogger...in a restaurant. It's also cool being able to see the food being cooked since there's a huge doorway that lets you see into the kitchen. Our go to Chinese spot. It's our favorite local spot and it's not even close. Small place but they cook everything FRESH. Never had a bad meal here. You get a complementary corn egg drop soup. It was a little heavy on the chicken broth flavor for me, but still...free always tastes good! I ordered the Conbination Kung Pao on the lunch special menu and look at the portion that was served! You get to pick if you want fried rice, half fried rice & half chowmein, or chowmein. It also comes with the egg soup . The price is VERY reasonable as well. Cheapest you can find. Thr service was superb. The servers were respectful. Food arrived at the table quickly too. The food is good and we've picked it up a few times, but the portions/quality are inconsistent. Last night we ordered two sides of chow mein and they were not full, and our Mongolian beef had more veggies than beef which was really disappointing. The beef was really hard to chew and it didn't taste like last time. The takeout packaging was also a huge problem. The bags were not secure, my clothes got so much soy sauce on them, and the food was drenched in sauce by the time we got home, making it soggy and messy.
