Rating solely on food delivery. I've never been inside so I can't comment on the environment or personal service, but I've ordered delivery from here several times and it's always great. In particular, I love the chicken pad thai and the curry puffs. Food comes out fast and it's delicious. Medium spicy pad thai isn't very warm, so if you like heat you might want to bump it up some. read more

I didn't know many good Thai spots in the area, so when I saw this place had great reviews, I decided to give it a try. I ordered four items through DoorDash and was amazed by the portion sizes. The fried rice and pad thai were huge -- each one was about the size of two of my palms! The shrimp pad thai tasted pretty decent and came with a generous amount of shrimp. The crab fried rice and Thai ice tea were good. Unfortunately, the tom yum soup wasn't and I wouldn't recommend that one. Overall, I enjoyed the food and I'd still order from here again to try other items on the menu. Everything was incredible from start to finish. The soup was the perfect warm-up--fragrant, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pad thai was spot-on: great texture, perfectly balanced, not too sweet or heavy. But the ribs were honestly the highlight. Fall-off-the-bone tender, coated in this sticky, savory glaze with just the right amount of caramelization. You can tell they put love into every dish. Came here on a random day ! - Service: The girl who served our table is very friendly and welcoming so I like her energy though the food takes a bit long ( I ordered fried fish and crying tiger) it took 15-20mins for the food and the restaurant only has our table but because of how welcoming the girl is, I'm okay with it. I came here around 1130am to grab lunch Togo. The plaza has a good amount of parking and the restaurant is located in a corner. There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant and it wasn't busy during the time I went. The restaurant is decent and clean. I ordered the pad Thai lunch special which comes with a side salad and veggie egg roll with dipping sauce. The lunch special was about $14. It was a good portion for the pad Thai & I like that they gave me the spices on the side so I can adjust the spice level. I also ordered a papaya salad and that always hits the spot at any Thai restaurant I go to. I also had plenty of leftovers and literally took me 2 tries to finish the whole meal with help from my husband when he got home. Will definitely be back to try their other items. read more

We have been coming here since 2023 and slowly just started going down hill. we ordered tom yum soup and got 2 shrimps, mind you it is $2 extra so i guess $1 each per small shrimp, the soup itself tasted too sweet and no sourness to it like its supposed to, got crying tiger and they completely missed the toasted rice powder, the meat was completely raw in the middle, and also they gave us the bottom of the lettuce with the bud on, so gross not edible, and the older gentleman who seems like the owner that works there is just extremely rude to customers. zero customer service at all. food is so so, not sure how they got over 1k reviews..... our families will not be retuning. read more

I was impressed by how attentive the 2 waiters were and how quickly our food came. It felt like we barely sat down and our drinks, appetizer, and main course came one after the other in quick succession. The plastic covers on our boba drinks were cute and the waitress even helped us stab our straws into them. The food was tasty and the portions were big enough for us to have leftovers to take home. Since it's at a strip mall tucked away in a corner away from the street, it might be easy to miss, but it's definitely worth a visit. read more

Ordered to go and it was pretty large portions. Pad Thai with pork was spicy, in a good way. There are some pad thai that's sweet and some are salty, this is more on the sweeter side but the spice balances it out very well. They also use real crab in the crab fry rice, very tasty! The egg rolls however were just decent. It's good but somehow it's so doughy inside where it seem uncooked, but I think that's just how it is. Just moved into Norco and wanted to try this place out in hopes that this will be our new Thai food spot. Ordered: thom yum and paid the extra to get shrimp- didn't get ANY shrimp! Aside from that it tasted like your basic thom yum at any other Thai restaurant. Chicken Pad Thai- had the flavors but was pretty dry and way too orange. Beef pad see ew- good, definitely better than the pad thai. Was missing that char taste. chicken satay- would not order again, the chicken was really dry. crying tiger- overly cooked so the meat was tough and the sauce was not the best. garlic pork riblets- pretty tasty, Garlic was just the right amount. red curry- was really good as well. Would come back for this if I did return. and the crab fried rice- one of the best things we ordered. This was the one thing that our whole party said was the best with the curry and ribs. At first, the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the orange chicken it wasn't soggy, had a nice flavor, and there was just the right amount of sauce. The white rice was also good. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse with the Pad Thai. I paid extra to add shrimp, but the shrimp was spoiled. I ate one before realizing it, and immediately noticed the bad smell and started feeling stomach discomfort. The tails of the shrimp were clearly rotted, which was very concerning. It was even more frustrating to think I had paid extra for this. I'm open to trying new places and usually enjoy giving them a chance, but it's really disappointing when I end up having to leave a review like this. read more

This is the first time we ordered from here. We ordered delivery: Pad Woon Sen, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Tom Yum Noodle Soup and Chicken Satay. The portion is good size. Yum Woon Sen - This dish has tons of glass noodle but very little of anything else. Need a lot more juice as noodles are kind of dry. Need to add cilantro and peanuts. Pad Thai - Very Nice "wok hei" (Thai smoky flavor). Generous portion of noodle but if you give more protein then I'll give it a 5 star. Taste wise is good. Pad See Ew - 4 1/2 star! Excellent taste! Portion generous. If add broccoli then I'll give it a 5 star. Tom Yum Noodle Soup - this is more an American Tom Yum. So for those who like American tom yum then this is for you. Note about the container for the soup: the cover came off easily and some spilled out during delivery. Lastly, the chicken satay - don't like it. There's sour aftertaste. We tried to re-live a nice meal we had here years ago. And Boonsee has had many great Yelp reviews over the years. We thought this was a safe bet for good Thai food. But it just wasn't meant to be. Where did they go wrong? We chose three dishes, and each one had issues. The Pineapple Curry with chicken. Tons of curry gravy and tons of pineapple. The curry sauce was good. The chicken was tender, but there was scant meat to be found. The dish was mostly a huge amount of canned pineapple cubes that were on the verge of turning bad. This dish, unfortunately, was the best of the three, and that says little. Garlic Pork ribs. These are bite-sized, bone-in riblets that are marinated, then deep-fried and served with a spicy fish sauce-based dipping sauce. When done right, this is a delightful treat. But these were mostly bone, grossly overcooked, and what little meat was attached was exceedingly tough and hard. A few of the ribs tasted old as well. I would never recommend this. Pad Woon Sen with shrimp. This dish is a stir-fry with some cabbage and glass noodles and your selection of protein. The shrimp (6 of them) were the problem. Not at all fresh, completely inedible. This dish we returned to the kitchen and had them remake it with beef. This was better, but the leftovers, just one day later, were also turning bad. I am sad and extremely disappointed that they are using spoiled and//or poor quality products and meats for their dishes. They appear to have storage issues and are pushing the expiration dates for ingredients too far. We will not return. read more

Always on the lookout for a close Thai food restaurant. This happened to be a couple miles from my house so we thought we'd give it a shot. It's in a small shopping center in the corner. It's a cute little restaurant and the booths were very comfortable. Service is good there they greet you with a smile and come take your drink order right away. We decided since it was around lunchtime to just get a few different items to see how we like their food. We ordered the Tom Ka Kai soup with chicken. Although this is the first time nobody's ever asked us how spicy we wanted it. It was actually reasonably priced although the spice level was very low so if you don't like a lot of spice, definitely recommend it. All we did was add a little bit of the chili powder that they had at the table to the soup and it made it Spicier. They do give you a large portion, though we ordered the large pot and the price was definitely worth it. We also ordered the pad woon sen with beef. It's basically a thin glass noodle dish with egg, carrots, cabbage, bean, sprouts, green onion, and it's supposed to have tomato. It called for it on the menu, but there was none on our plate. We always get it with beef. The beef was so tender and flavorful and the noodles were absolutely amazing. It was definitely a 10 out of 10. Glad that we ordered. It will be going back for it again. We also ordered the spicy basil fried rice. Not quite sure why they call it spicy because there was no spice in it at all. We didn't even see the dried chili peppers in there that we usually do in our spicy fried rice, but it was still good. They just definitely need to kick up the spice level maybe They thought we couldn't handle the heat.? I ordered the garlic green beans with soft tofu and it actually came with a side of white rice, which is what I wanted. Those green beans are absolutely delicious. Love the garlic sauce that they put on there and they made my tofu exactly how I like it so that was a win-win for me. If you're looking for a quaint, cozy, friendly Thai food spot in the city of Norco I definitely recommend them. We haven't got to try everything on their menu. We only tried the stuff that we normally order at our spots that we go to, but we will definitely be back to try some new stuff. read more

Hands down one of the best Thai joints in the IE. There is not a curry, noodle, or rice dish that isn't good. The Larb and Tom Kha Gai are phenomenal. Tried the curry puffs for the first time and they were excellent. Like a sweeter samosa. A must try for Thai food if you find yourself in the area. read more

So I ordered DoorDash for lunch and I got it delivered to my work. I ordered orange chicken, a side of rice and the fried bananas. Now as I was eating the fried bananas after I already ate half of them all the sudden I feel my throat tingling, and as if something is spicy, fried bananas are not supposed to be spicy so I started looking inside and noticed all the gray black strings the banana not knowing what this was I called the restaurant the lady I spoke to did not know. I texted her a picture. And she started asking around they said they don't know either and she said she put the picture into her phone to ask ai what it is. Then she said she's gonna call the owners and call me back. She calls me back five minutes later and said she's going to refund me for the bananas. That's not the problem obviously yes give me a refund but what did I just eat because my throat is burning. I feel sick to my stomach and I do not know what I just ate and she said it's just banana. It's the strings of the banana and I've said I've ordered fried bananas from a lot of different Thai places, I've never seen any strings and banana bananas like this. Do not eat from here you don't know how fresh their food is. I'm worried I might've ate parasites. And ask for the throat burning they might've crossed contaminated the oil with chili oil to fry the bananas, which is another thing. I'm not 100% sure but there's no reason banana should be spicy. It's either they cross contaminated the oil or whatever is in this banana is burning the hell out of my throat and it's making it hard for me to breathe in my throat is swelling up. read more

My family and I have dined at this restaurant a few times since they opened in 2020. The flavors, portion sizes, and quality of the dishes adequately match the pricing. Their dine in service has considerably improved since their opening year. The restaurant has also received a minor interior redecoration which makes it feel welcoming and cozy. You're welcomed when you walk through the doors and promptly given a table. The food is always prepared when you order and tastes great. My wife and I especially appreciate the fact that Boonsee Thai offers meat alternatives, making virtually every dish vegetarian friendly. We have always enjoyed the food here and we have most absolutely tasted Thai food that does not stand up to the quality provided by Boonsee. Big portions, reasonable prices, and friendly service. This place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking and pretty quiet inside. We came for dinner around 7:30 or 8pm on a Friday and there was plenty of seating. We got the panang curry with mock chicken which was quite tasty, pad see ew with tofu, also flavorful and tasty, and the curry puffs, which i'm happy to say were vegetarian. The curry puff pastry wasn't as flaky or layered as other curry puffs we've had, but they were still pretty good. Overall good stop if you're looking for Thai in the area. read more
