Came here today and it is located in Ranch 99 plaza on McKinley and the ramen here is OK. This place has hearty, flavorful bowls of ramen in a casual, welcoming setting. The Tonkotsu broths was too salty and it didn't have the right broth taste. Given that it was cold outside having ramen was the right choice. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. Just wished you can customize salt level as I had to drink several cups of water to dilute it. However if you are looking for flavorful deep to Tonkotsu broth you may have to go somewhere else. Overall staff was nice but service was super slow.

Come back here and tried their other rolls and all good!! we got OMG, Orange Blossom, and Yoshi Rolls. We also tried other appetizers like Korokke, Jalapeno Bomb, Idako Karage, and Spicy Edamame, but our favorite still the Fried Calamari. I wish the edamame wasn't too soggy :( The place is spacious. Not too busy during lunch time. Service was great and they were nice. Will be back!

Had the spicy ramen it was okay. The Korean friend chicken isn't actually fried more like wing stop . Wouldn't recommend

Menus were dirty, with pages sticking together. Customer service was extremely lacking. Had to flag down staff for everything, from letting them know we were ready to order to asking for napkins and the check. My husband and I both ordered ramen, and my son had a bento box. Part of my son's meal came shortly after we finished our appetizers (Cajun salmon roll and jalapeño bomb; both of which were good!) then things went downhill quick. After a few minutes, the female staff brought a lukewarm bowl of miso soup to the table, stating it was part of the bento and then after noticing that only my son was eating, she realized we didn't receive our entire order. She quickly brought my ramen, and offered my son ginger & soy sauce (to which he said yes please) then disappeared and we never saw her again. We think that either they forgot about our ramen, or gave our bowls to another table that arrived and ordered after we did. When my husband asked the other server for the check, he mentioned he never got his ramen and to take it off the bill. No apologies, no offer to take the ramen to go. Disappointing experience.

Cold/Not Hot Broth Tonkatsu Black Spicy Ramen with missing Wood Eared Mushrooms and Corn...

As we walked by, wasn't even sure it was open - no interior lights on, no window signage stating open, landlord padlock on the Entrance Door.... but I judged the door and it opened... one of the staff welcomed us and I stated that we weren't sure if they were open... Anyway... After perusing through the menu, which had quite a few blacked out items (black tape applied over the menu item) we both decided on the Tonkatsu Spicy Black Ramen Noodles as well a the Crispy Fried Rice appetizer... the appetizer was delivered but I had to request some small individual plates so that we could eat off of our own plate, rather than reaching over trying to share the same plate and making a mess on the table... no worries, small oversight (or so I thought at the time)... Next came the Ramen... Looked very appetizing, but again I had to get up and request a couple of soup spoons... went to dig in, and while the bottom of the bowl was warm, the broth itself was quite cold... after calling over the waitress and asking them to please reheat (even if they had to use the microwave)... the waitress took it back to the "open" kitchen and they used the microwave to reheat... The bowls were returned and as we started to eat, satisfied that the broth was indeed hot, we noticed a couple of items missing: the corn - no corn in the broth like it was described... in addition to that, no Wood Eared Mushrooms were in the broth either... the wood eared mushrooms set the "black" apart from the standard ramen and cost $.50 more per serving... when questioned about it, the hostess informed us that they didn't have any mushrooms... as a consolation, she offered us one of the "extra price" toppings in place if it... we opted for the tofu... a bowl of tofu pieces came out and although they appeared to have steam coming off of it, the tofu was cold as well... smh... The hostess returned them to to kitchen to be reheated... We received a 10% discount ($4.90 of of a $49 bill)... Not sure if they're going to make it with this level of service and food quality... Good Luck!

We finally visited Yoshiharu Corona after having it bookmarked some times ago. I was surprised to see it offers an AYCE option for $20 per person, that includes appetizers, Ramon, and sushi rolls. Needless to say that's what I went for. The second surprise was how fast appetizers and ramen were delivered to our table but sushi rolls arrived much later. I enjoyed both gyoza and calamari. The garlic spicy edamame turned out to be quite spicy. My tonkotsu miso was what I expected it to be - decent but not the quality I had elsewhere. Quality of sushi rolls was not what I have hoped. It fell apart when I picked it up on chopsticks so I had to use my spoon to transport it to my plate. Overall it is a good value for my AYCE experience. Now I have to find out if AYCE is at this location only or other Yoshiharu locations as well.

Like a VIRGIN, this was our first time here! What I didn't expect to see was"ALL YOU CAN EAT" for ONLY $20 per person!... So the average price for ramen is already around $16 and a baked sushi roll is also around $16 so even if we didn't do the ALL YOU CAN EAT our bill would still come out to about $40 dollars so WE DID IT... SPICY MISO: 4/5 it was spicy! SALMON and SHRIMP TEMPURA ROLL: 3.5/5 rice was too mushy and too filling! POTATO SHRIMP: 4.5/5 pretty good! SHRIMP TEMPURA: 4/5 ok SEAWEED SALAD: hubby said was refreshing (also available right next door for $1.98 at Ranch 99) What a great deal! SERVICE: A+++++++++++++ to the young one man show ROCK ON YOSHIHARU RAMEN! You'll be opening up in our town one day I hope ;)

Just came by cuz I was stopping to 99 ranch and was hungry and honestly trying to kill time for traffic hour of the 91 lolz. The inside has plenty of seating and has low lights. You are able to see the the kitchen so you can see them making your food if anything :)))) The guy greeted me and sat me pretty quick. This was my first time here so I did have to go through the menu and decided to be pretty basic lolz. Now here is the important part of the review. The food part I got the tonkotsu spicy black. I give it an 8/10 overall. Will say the egg was the best part of the food!! The egg for me is a big deal. Egg I would give it an 100/10. I also loved how thiccccccc (yes I had to emphasize it lolz) the pork chasuuuu was. I felt like the only issue I had which wasn't major was the broth needed more flavor which I give a 6/10 but that me personally. Will say the portion is HUGE. I got full with just eating half of it. Overall everything went well :))). And I would like I try the menu more before I give them a higher score if anything. Props to the cute bag Bonus: ig if you write you can get ice cream but tbh I just share my experience without any ice cream needed. I left after I paid. Maybe that's why they have a lot of recent reviews

I was going to this restaurant with my boyfriend with high expectations because of the reviews and looks, but was left pretty underwhelmed with the experience. We were one of the two tables at 12:00 pm on a Saturday, which I would assumed would grant a pretty quick lunch. With one server, it felt like we were looking around most of the time to see where she was to ask for items that she forgot about like soy sauce and wasabi. The food took oddly long to come out (one dish at a time) despite the only other table having already received their food by the time we finished ordering. We got the deep-fried gyoza, which came out hot yet bland, but only 5 small pieces for $7? Wasn't worth it. We also got the Cajun Tuna Roll, which was decent since it's just heavily seasoned tuna. The ramen LOOKED great, I got the Tonkotsu Spicy Black & my boyfriend the Tonkotsu Spicy Miso, and there was no depth of flavor at all like ramen should have. The Tonkotsu Spicy Black looked so appetizing, but then to discover it's just because of the half-inch thick layer of red oil that tasted so greasy. Neither the toppings or broth were hot either. Perhaps because of my expectations were already set so high because of the reviews or my past experiences with better ramen restaurants, but I was disappointed with this place.

Great team with great service! They are quick, friendly, and attentive. I came for the $20 all you can eat special, which includes appetizers, ramen, and sushi rolls. The AYCE menu is extensive and offers a variety of options to choose from (I crossed out the items that aren't included in AYCE). I do wish they offered half portions so that I can try more of their items without feeling overly full. The food was pretty good overall, and considering the price, I can't complain. I came on a Sunday afternoon; while it wasn't too busy, the tables against the wall were all occupied and felt a bit crowded, making it somewhat uncomfortable to get up and down from our seats, such as when using the restroom. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would def give it a try!

If you're craving comfort in a bowl, this ramen spot totally delivers! The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the hours of simmering in every sip. The noodles have that perfect springy texture, and the chashu pork literally melts in your mouth.

Fantastic $20 AYCE deal for ramen, sushi rolls, and appetizers in this day and age. A deal so good I figured it would have to have a catch, and it does -- the service is super slow! The food itself is what is expected for a chain sushi/ramen spot with a $20 ayce deal, in fact it was a bit better than I would expect of this kind of spot. The waiting time between getting the food, flagging down the one waiter in a restaurant with no more than 3 total table seated, and then the waiting time again to secure the check took way more time than I would have liked to be here. Maybe this was a one off with the server I had, but it makes me not want to return here even for the decent food and cheap prices.

    Closed for an hour

I really don't understand how some businesses can close in the middle of a peak time especially with the weather working to their advantage. Came here on 12/26 craving some ramen and they were closed? Mind you the staff was just chilling on a table towards the back with a bunch of dirty tables all over the store. They had a sign saying they won't open for an hour l. Pretty disappointing

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

It is a fairly small dining room. Six booths of four max, six tables of four, and one table for six. No outdoor dining. While I was dining, there were lots of take out orders. I ordered the Golden tiger roll and teriyaki chicken plate with peach soju. I do not eat sushi but decided to get something only a little adventurous. The shrimp tempura, cream cheese and avocado with crab meat was divine. The presentation of the roll was beautiful. I didn't have to worry about the sauces as they were placed upon the top. Thankfully I was able to eat each piece in one bite. The roll was cut into nine pieces. So much more than I thought I would receive. Since I am not used to eating this type of food, I wasn't sure I could safely consume it the following day so I made sure to eat it all. I really enjoyed it. The teriyaki chicken was served on a hot skillet. So flavorful. I took the majority of the chicken and rice for lunch the next day. I came back a few weeks later and it was much calmer. The service was great both times. I would recommend it.

Everything tastes good. I just finished my leftovers and I'm already craving the noodles since they were so soft. The restaurant is clean and modern with big windows and an outdoor patio. If it weren't so hot (We came on a 100F day) it looked like a nice place to eat under the umbrellas. I accidentally spilled a jar of hot sauce which for some reason had a loose removable lid and one of the waitresses was quick to clean it up for us. She was nice about it, too, like she could've easily copped an attitude with us about it, but didn't. A man next to us said he accidentally did the same thing which makes me think they need to find a different container for that sauce. There's a huge parking lot, so that wasn't a problem. However, the area directly in front of the restaurant and the other shops near it were sectioned off with yellow caution tape for some reason and my sister said it looked like a murder scene, which made me laugh. I'm fairly sure that wasn't the case, but I don't know why they did it. The only reason I knew the restaurant was open for business was because I saw people eating inside through the windows.

Hopefully management addresses that, because the employees deserve a comfortable work environment, and it would make the dining experience even better. Other than that, I'd definitely come back for the food!

When we were seated, our waitress told us that if we signed up for their rewards program, we'd receive a free mochi ice cream. She recommended downloading the app, but since service was a bit slow, we decided to sign up using the QR code at the table instead. We successfully created our accounts and were excited to enjoy our meal. One of my friends was trying ramen for the first time, so we wanted to make sure she had a great first experience. The ramen was delicious, and the matcha lychee lemonade was so refreshing! After we finished eating, we ordered dessert and asked to redeem the free mochi ice cream. Our waitress had trouble finding our rewards accounts, so we gave her our phone numbers. After waiting for a while, she came back and told us we couldn't redeem the reward because it had to be done through the app. That was disappointing because we had signed up exactly as we were instructed. I've worked in the restaurant industry, and I understand that sometimes promotions have restrictions. However, I also know that great customer service means finding a solution when a guest follows the directions they were given. Since our waitress watched us sign up, I wish she had honored the promotion or at least spoken with a manager to see if an exception could be made. Overall, the food was excellent, and I'd definitely come back for the ramen and drinks. I just hope they improve their customer service and make sure their staff clearly explains how the rewards program works to avoid disappointing future guests.

The server was super friendly and helpful and was always checking in making sure we have what we need. What we ordered; Vegan gyoza (5/5): Crispy and juicy fried gyoza served with a side of tangy and slightly spicy sauce! Super delicious and definitely worth a try! Cucumber salad (5/5): refeshing cucumber slices with a hint of vinegar mixed either bits and nori and sesame seed! They added a few slices of crab salad to top it all off! Amazing combination and my mom loved it! Shoyu ramen (5/5): if you're looking for savory sauce then shoyu ramen will be your go to! Smooth and soothing! Their soy sauce is 2 year barrel aged and definitely worth a try! Tonkatsu ramen (10/5): creamy and mouthwatering! This was my favorite! If you're looking for a creamy and rich broth, this is your must try! Pairs well with their pork chashu, spinach and other toppings! Overall we had a great experience and would definitely be back when we are in town! FYI their noodles are served thick by default but you can opt for thin noodles which we did!

However, I decided to try it again and it's remodeled inside and the sushi tasted great. The rice tasted freshly made. The prices are average, $15 and up. There was only one person inside serving us and she was awesome. She made sure our waters were full and that we were ok. Our server was friendly and attentive. It took awhile for our food to arrive. I think it's because they had a large party there and lots of to-go orders. Here's my review of the food. Tonkotsu Ramen - This was a miss. The broth looked creamy but was on the bland watery side. The noodles were over cooked and too soft, though the texture worked out for my girl who just got brace brackets. The chashu was not tender enough and was thin and chewy. Tiger Roll - Large cut roll. It was delish. I liked the crunchy shrimp inside. The drizzled sauces were on point. Customize Your Poke Bowl, 3-Protein - This was tasty and gave a lot, looked more than what my daughter got in her 5-protein bowl. I ordered it with salmon, shrimp, and tako (though I ordered the scallops). They put plenty in my bowl. Customize Your Poke Bowl, 5-Protein - My older daughter was disappointed because the amount of protein she got looked less than mine. Hers was all salmon but looked like three scoops than five. She's had poke bowls at other places before, but this one lacked. Food: 3.0 Service: 4.0 Ambience: 4.0 Cleanliness: 4.5 Rating Total: 3.9 Not sure if we would go back there. Maybe for the custom bowl I had.
