Great food, Great price and great staff. Nice small place to hangout with family or friends. We enjoyed our food and the ambiance.

Last night my dad and I were looking for a good Japanese place close by so we decided to try out Samurai Kitchen. The whole time that I've lived in corona I've always passed this place without knowing it was there! The restaurant itself is small and a little dingy we decided not to eat there. But the sushi roll was honestly the star of the show! It was so flavorful and had the right consistencies that you'd want in sushi! The beef teriyaki plate was also pretty good the beef was nice and tender with delicious sauce. My dad got the chicken teriyaki plate and he thought the beef dish was much better, he said the chicken was dry and the best part of his dish was the rice. The plate came with a fresh salad but the sauce they gave with it is thousand islands, I wish they had a choice for a vinaigrette because the thousand island just tasted like mayo.

I finally tried this place after years of passing by it. I would say I would give it a 3.7 stars. Value for the price just wasn't there. I order the combo meal with chicken beef over a bed of rice with a little salad. It was close to $10 with no drink. Food was fresh and tasted good. I was given very little meat. Just a thin layer sprinkled on top of the rice. You get so much more meat at MOS 2 or even as WABA. Salad was just spring mix possibly out of a box. What was not okay is that I asked for teriyaki and they wanted 90 cents for a small little container?! That is like being charged for ketchup for your fries! I would not come back unless it was like 50% off.

Right off the bat, I love looking for hole in the wall establishments and I love sushi. The sushi quality is not half bad. The price isn't unreasonable either. Roll was delicious. I didn't quite care for the soy sauce provided as I prefer kikkoman. But to each their own. The beef in the Ramen had a sweet flavor too it and the Udon noodles were soft and flavorful. But I feel as if all the flavor stuck to the noodles and beef and not much in the broth itself. Which isn't bad if you eat it together. And I kinda wish the beef was left in bigger pieces in the ramen so it would be easier to grab with the chopstick. Was cut into very small pieces. I would recommend to give this place a try and decide for yourself. Be aware though they don't take time to prepare your food. Just means it comes to your hands fresh.

WORST ramen bowl ever! I ordered shrimp ramen, I don't think it was even ramen. It was a boiling cup of seasoned water with some kind of noodles. Hardly any noodles at all. They gave me 2 pieces of fried shrimp in a bag on the side. And 2 floating things on top. The water was so hot, it melted my spoon and burnt the roof of my mouth. I would not even give it 1 star. I do not recommend this place at all. The sushi roll was a joke, just rice.

Super Bowl. It's kind of lacking rice.

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

Using the Yelp app was easy, and I received a text confirming I was added to the list. When we arrived, our table was ready. We chose the all-you-can-eat option. We were directed to the link on the table to order from our phone, we had 75 minutes to place our orders, every order was placed through the phone, which was great. The menu had many great choices, and our food arrived fairly fast. The sushi was fresh. Our server continued to check on us and was very attentive. We were advised before ordering that any leftover sushi rolls would incur an extra charge. Four leftover pieces were okay, but anything over that would be $1 per piece, which is fair. Overall, our experience was nice, and I'll definitely be going again.

Docking a Star for…read morethe loud music and lack of a system to track which items have been delivered and which are still to come out. TLDR: highly recommend, especially for lunch before the crowds arrive. Service was friendly and attentive. Cassandra and Jonathan were our primary servers, and they accommodated our large party (4 tables of 4), half of whom were seniors who found it difficult to hear the ordering instructions and needed additional support to place their AYCE orders through their smartphones. The restaurant has a mix of booth and table seating that can accommodate large parties; arriving as soon as they opened made it simpler to sit together without a wait. We used 1 device per table to order, which they consolidated into one ticket at the end. Our table started with the nigiri before diving into the appetizers as the restaurant charges for leftover sushi. We maxed out on the carpaccio and soft shell crab, and limited the number of rolls and "filler" . While our receipt was one of the longest that the server said he'd seen, we did really well with our order, with nearly no leftovers. The Mexican-inspired/fusion items were a big hit, especially with the different sauces (aguachile, jalapeño, chili garlic). The tuna, salmon and white tuna were fresh and the soups well seasoned. We ordered one baked roll that I wasn't a fan of, but others liked. Other favorites included the creamy ramen, seared beef nigiri, shrimp tempura, crispy squid, nacho French fries and green mussels. I'd pass on the salmon poke on wonton chip. Our orders were delivered by hand and by a robot server. As I mentioned earlier, it was difficult to keep track of which dishes had already been delivered -- the servers would ask if everything had come out, but we'd lost track since no one told us what the dishes that did come were. I think there might have been a mixup with the initial delivery, with our table receiving some of another table from our party's order. It would be nice to be able to look at our order online and see which had already been made and sent out so we could gauge whether to order more. As we were preparing to close out our order, they asked if we were celebrating anything. When they learned we were there for a birthday, they brought out a slice of cheesecake with a sparkler candle and sang happy birthday, which was sweets All in all, a nice addition to this shopping plaza, which includes Thai, Korean and Mexican eateries.

Shortly before they closed, the owner even gave us a complimentary yellowtail collar which was absolutely delicious, amazingly flavorful and super juicy (we never ordered this previously, since we always went with the AYCE option). The AYCE was very reasonably priced for what you got, and could be considered on the very cheap end, for quality of the food you got and options available. Rakki Sushi got high praises from our foodie friends who would visit us as well. Honestly most people know ramen expectations should be low when you order it as take out but i think they do a great job with how they package their takeout! I've tried their normal lemonade and their mango passionfruit sweet tea and personally i like their sweet tea more! The drink portion is nice and large! Definitely not overly sweet and it always hit with my ramen. I've tried most of their ramens, i like the fact that they have different style noodles. Personally i think their wavy noodles go better with the rich broths like the miso and the Tokyo style one (a mix of shoyu and tonkotsu ) and the straight noodles go god with their clear broth like the shoyu or the yuzu shio. I normally get their shoyu mostly because it gives me the least acid reflux, but that's nothing with their food it's just a health issue for me :( i would say my favorite is their Tokyo style broth. I think it has a nice balance of flavor and the wavy noodles just soak up that broth nicely. I've only had their appetizers on takeout so they're not super fresh, and not really a main stopper for me. The large is good but i wish it was a little bigger with the pieces. Sometimes they're just small and idk it feels like it's missing something. I got the opportunity to stop here yesterday after my tattoo, and the service was decent. Got seated quickly and my order taken quick as well. My food took a few minutes to be made but nothing crazy of a wait. Overall i had a good time, i do go on a Saturday around 7:30 pm so not sure if that matters. For take out i do recommend ordering min 30 minutes before pickup because i do feel like it can take a minute, but thats the nice part of take out that you can order in advance. I think for Eastvale/ norco ramen this place a nice broth and noodles. And it's not overly oily or salty :)
