Went here for lunch yesterday. Another outstanding meal. People are very friendly and the Sushi is very good and it is an AYCE.. Thank You

Sumo roll... probably one of the best rolls I've had... such great service! Can't wait to try AYCE next time!

Was craving for sushi and came across this place while in the area for work. Parking was easy. It was Thursday 5pm and I got seated right away. Restaurant is pretty decent size, very open where you could see everyone in the dining room. Not sure how busy they get, but seems like a good place for groups. There was only one server and she managed the whole dining room herself. Well done! Food came out really quick. I had the AYCE menu. After two rounds, I was full and done. Overall, not too bad. Portions are great. If in the area, I will probably go back. Sorry, only took two photos, I was hungry. LOL

I needed a low carb option!

Clean, fast service... AMAZING SUSHI definitely need to try. Since SGC is gone, this is THEE place. Fresh seafood (I'm picky)

This is a nice little AYCE sushi spot that offers fresh fish, popular rolls, and very small rice portions. Everything came out super fast; service is attentive and very friendly. The ambiance is a bit dated and fast-foodish, but it is clean. You'd be coming here for the AYCE value, not for date night.

Rakki is very underrated. The sushi tastes fresh and many of the baked & fried items were made fresh to order. We went for all you can eat and we were impressed. The service was spectacular and the food came out in a timely fashion. Made to-go-orders are very reasonably priced. This is definitely my new sushi go-to. I particularly liked their habit of giving us half rolls so we had room to try more sushi. The restaurant itself is in a less the ideal location, but once you get inside it's a good atmosphere. Red leather booths are available & k-pop jams serenade you through your the restaurant. It was a bit warm, so I will stay cranked up the AC, but overall a pleasant experience. My favorite appetizers are the shrimp boat & the baked mussels. I really enjoyed The tuna nigiri, the tuna was so bright red& appetizing. My favorite rolls are the hot night and the avengers (I love spicy tuna). My personal favorite Things to order: Apps: shrimp boat, tempura shrimp, beef gyoza and definitely the baked mussel Nigiri: tuna, salmon, spicy scallop, eel, octopus, tamago & fried clam Sushi rolls: rakki roll, rock n roll, hot night, baked Alaska, the spider roll and the avengers roll

Quality sushi that won't break the bank. Good All-You-Can-Eat menu for $35 dinner. Spicy tuna was a bit salty but everything else we had was tasty.

Rakki Sushi is probably the best sushi spot in the area. We have not tried the AYCE yet but have dined in a couple times for individual rolls. Both times that we've gone were great experiences and I'll happily order from the AYCE menu in the near future! Parking is usually very easy as the restaurant is located in a strip mall near the freeway. It doesn't get super busy (at least the two times we've gone) which I hope will change as the owners are very kind and service is extremely fast. Something to note is that their weekday lunch specials are for both takeout and dine in. Definitely take advantage of this deal -- the normal prices here are pretty standard and fair for sushi but you will get your money's worth for lunch. Sushi quality is, again, probably the best in the area and portion sizes for three rolls are definitely enough to feed us despite not doing the AYCE option. The chef gave us a couple pieces of free sushi to try which is a great perk! If you're in the area and have a craving for sushi, definitely check out and support this local restaurant!

Great food! Friendly service. We've been coming here for years. AYCE is delicious but the artistry really shines when eating a la carte!

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

Anyway... After perusing through the menu, which had quite a few blacked out items (black tape applied over the menu item) we both decided on the Tonkatsu Spicy Black Ramen Noodles as well a the Crispy Fried Rice appetizer... the appetizer was delivered but I had to request some small individual plates so that we could eat off of our own plate, rather than reaching over trying to share the same plate and making a mess on the table... no worries, small oversight (or so I thought at the time)... Next came the Ramen... Looked very appetizing, but again I had to get up and request a couple of soup spoons... went to dig in, and while the bottom of the bowl was warm, the broth itself was quite cold... after calling over the waitress and asking them to please reheat (even if they had to use the microwave)... the waitress took it back to the "open" kitchen and they used the microwave to reheat... The bowls were returned and as we started to eat, satisfied that the broth was indeed hot, we noticed a couple of items missing: the corn - no corn in the broth like it was described... in addition to that, no Wood Eared Mushrooms were in the broth either... the wood eared mushrooms set the "black" apart from the standard ramen and cost $.50 more per serving... when questioned about it, the hostess informed us that they didn't have any mushrooms... as a consolation, she offered us one of the "extra price" toppings in place if it... we opted for the tofu... a bowl of tofu pieces came out and although they appeared to have steam coming off of it, the tofu was cold as well... smh... The hostess returned them to to kitchen to be reheated... We received a 10% discount ($4.90 of of a $49 bill)... Not sure if they're going to make it with this level of service and food quality... Good Luck!
