Came here with a friend and was excited to try the poke since the reviews seemed great! We both got a small poke bowl (2 proteins) and chose our own toppings. They did indeed fill the bowl up very well which I was happy about! But unfortunately both my friend and I left a bit disappointed since we both felt our bowls were overly saucy. And I'm usually a very saucy girl! I only asked for 2 different sauces, the OG and the ponzu, but I felt like it left the whole bowl feeling really thick and creamy plus a little overly salty whereas I prefer when the fish and toppings stand out instead. As for the business itself it's a small place with a few tables in the back which is where we sat. This business is located within a plaza close to the grocery store, so there is plenty of parking spaces. They have some tables and chairs if you want to dine in, so not bad place to hang out for a meal, otherwise you can do takeout. They have different items on their menu, from hand roll set, to the common custom your own poke bowl to sushi rolls, pokerito and korean bulgogi bowl. Price is pretty reasonable and the poke bowls are worth their price. The girl made sure to fill up the bowl! The only thing I was sad to find, but wasn't a big deal, was the opportunity to customize your own sushi burrito, but it wasn't so bad to select among the 3 choices since I haven't seen a poke place have shrimp tempura. I visited this place for the first time and ordered a big fish poke bowl. I selected a salad base with salmon and garlic tuna. The service was great and the person making my bowl was very polite and super helpful. I was surprised by the size of the bowl, as I have eaten at many different poke restaurants and most have much smaller portions, even for their large bowls (large usually means more scoops of fish, while everything else remains the same). I took my food to go. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back again. I may add this place to my weekly work lunch rotation. Where do I even begin.... We waited almost 30 minutes for our order. The restaurant was poorly ventilated and so hot while waiting for our order. The person seemed lost when putting together the order. Got avocado which cost extra and I only got one sliver of avocado basically. I would give it 5 star review if the husband owner is not stingy with their portion size. One time i asked for a big fish poke order, and he put the rice into the black bowl that was for small size order. I told him that he could just put the rice into the bigger bowl that was for the big bowl, and used the black bowl for my fish since I preferred to separate my fish with my rice and salad (and that way he won't use the contaminated bowl for other orders). He insisted that he could save the black bowl and just separated the fish with the white (and cheaper) small plastic form for the go box. In the end, he didn't throw away the contaminated bowl and saved it on the side...I assumed he just wanted to save it for the next order... The other day when his wife helped me with my order, she was super generous and insisted using the black Togo bowl. That way, the sauce mixed with the fish won't spilled over. Every time when he helps me with my order, the portion size is super small...i asked him if he could give me more seaweed, he said there would be an extra charge lol super stingy...I remember when he prepared for my roll's order, the fish portion was super small...for $19? Other than that, all other staffs including the wife owner are super friendly and generous on their portion sizes. So if you go there and see this old man coming out, maybe come in another day for getting a poke bowl that actually worths $18. read more

Decided to give this place another shot and not add any of their hot sauce this time. It's definitely a lot better and more edible this time around. I ordered for pick up through GrubHub and was able to pick it up within 5 minutes. They're super quick! The order also came with a drink. I can't say it's the best poke I've ever had but it's decent enough for Corona. I feel like they don't add enough sauce compared to most poke places I've been to. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen because it was recommended on the Yelp. I also ordered a Thai Tea. -Tonkotsu Ramen- Remember in college or high school, and you were a broke ass mofo? You had maybe $20-$50 a week to spend but you wanted it to last? And you love ramen so much? You might've been to Little Tokyo's Mitsuwa Market place and found those 5 minutes and done ramen type of packets? I mean they were not close to real authentic ramen like a Japanese restaurant would make it, but you personally couldn't spend $15 on just a bowl of ramen literally everyday, cause it was your favorite thing to eat? Well, this is exactly what this place served. The broth was kinda bland. Not salty but bland in taste which most instant ramen packets taste like. The only thing is they serve it to you in like a traditional ramen bowl so they make you think it's real authentic ramen. I mean, that's the most effort they can do right? So, if you are asking me was this ramen good? No, I actually had to try to choke it down to finish it. I actually regret ordering it. Real ramen doesn't stick onto each other and make it look like bunch up noodles. Real ramen is slurping material. I hope they take this down their menu because it was not worth $12.95. In my opinion, if you want to sell ramen at least buy better ramen noodles and not instant packages. Sorry not sorry. Thai Tea- This was the only thing I did like? LOL. How can my drink taste better than my food, one must say? I have no earthly clue. Thai Tea isn't a hard drink to make either. It's literally 75% Sugar. When you consume sugar, of course that is good for your sweet tooth. Then again, I never really had really any bad Thai Tea's in my life, maybe just a hand full when they really F-UPed it up. Haha! So there you have it folks, if you want a good drink from here, buy their Thai Tea? The ramen? That's a very very very big pass for me. Would I come back here again? (To be fair, it was in the 'build your own' style... so it's partly on me that I didn't love it.) The workers were very nice and helpful and the store is very cute. They were playing some great music when I was in there too. I'll give this place another chance soon, especially because it's located very conveniently to me. Amazing find in Corona! Got the Korean BBQ bowl and husband made his own custom poké bowl (spicy tuna and shrimp on a bed of white and brown rice). He had asked for an extra kick of spice, and boy did they deliver! He loved it! He said it wasn't for the faint hearted (which is saying a lot b/c he loves super spicy foods). The Korean BBQ bowl was amazing. Bulgolgi, over easy, runny egg and glass noodles were atop a bed of rice. The bulgogi was done perfectly. Glass noodles were a bit oily, but overall it was great. If I could separate my review into two reviews I would (more on this later). I've been coming to this establishment every Friday for three years and the staff get 5 stars (Taylor is awesome, super helpful), the food 4.5 stars. All of that is great, love this place. However I give the owners 0 stars, they nickle and dime everything while their staff recognize repeat customers and realize their repeat business is more important than making one more buck off of me. (I wanted 2 extra scoops of edamame charged $2.00 by the owner, I wanted extra cucumbers for my son, charged again....). The owners rarely recognize repeat customers despite coming in every Friday like clockwork. It's a real shame because their staff rocks, I wish the owners would just phase themselves out of taking customer orders. Great food, great staff, crappy owners. read more
