I came from Orange County to take my sister out to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service. We ordered tea and were brought chamomile instead of Earl Grey. When we asked about it, our server told us they didn't have anything else. We also asked for honey, and it was brought in a small plastic cup, which felt unprofessional. We then waited about 45 minutes for our food. By the time our pizza arrived, we had already lost our appetite and the pizza was very bad not tasty at all like that one we order in irvine off Jamboree. My family truly loves BJ's, and we regularly dine at the location near our home, where we've always had great experiences. That's why this visit was especially disappointing. read more

On March 27 I decided to leave work early in order to avoid traffic and visit one of my favorite bar spots in town.....BJ's! Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and a handshake by one of the managers, Mr. Tim Perez. As I made my way to the bar, bartender Roshan Patel had my favorite beer (Jeremiah Red) on the counter before I even sat down. I have never seen this level of service anywhere! Food and service is always good. Not sure what is going I tonight but probably, at least, 25 servers/busers walked by our table of dirty dishes without even looking at the table. It became ourtable game, counting how many walked by without even glancing at the table to pick up dishes. This location is great because it's clean and accessible! I enjoy visiting every so often. The service is solid on a busy or slow day and all the food and drinks come out great. Last night we had Andrew as our server in the bar. He was very kind and pleasant. We ordered an appetizer and our meals from the 13$ meal deal which is a great value. And of course a few brews to go with our meals. I recommend trying the Jerry Burst which is a mix of the red ale and very berry cider. Enjoy! read more

I spent over $100 on a to-go order this past Saturday early evening, only to discover the biggest BUG/INSECT and/or ROACH buried in my Caesar salad. I probably would've ate it had I not decided to toss the salad first, which is crazy! It's ABSOLUTELY unacceptable, disgusting & careless. I was utterly shocked and still am to be honest. I can't imagine my other food items weren't contaminated in some way. I truly can't believe that and I have so many questions. Came here hungry after our daughter's vball tournament. Party of 8 on a late Sunday afternoon, the wait wasn't too long, maybe 5-10 mins. Danielle was our server, she said she was new. She was great, friendly customer service. We ordered calamari, smash burger, Alfredo pasta- they were able to sub out the chicken for shrimp. My son wanted chicken tenders, fries and Mac and cheese but those were two different meals, they couldn't do an add on. So I got him two kids meals. Food was good. We really came for the pizookie. Dined here tonight 1/15 in the bar area - Oscar was our server. He was great. With customer service, very attentive.. My only complaint is that the espresso martini pictured in the cocktail menu was dark brown of color and the espresso martini I received was creamy and light tan color. I personally prefer the dark brown color, which is why I ordered it so I was a little disappointed. Also, the women's bathroom could use a little touchup in areas Other than that, the food was great. It's been a while since I been to Bjs I went for my sisters birthday. I will have to update my review to 4 stars. I ordered the spaghetti, which was $25. The portion was on the smaller side and the pasta was a bit dry. Honestly, this place can be hit or miss depending on what you order. Still, the atmosphere is nice, service is solid, and I've had better dishes here in the past--just wish the spaghetti lived up to the price. read more

Warm inside. Where's the cool AC? This heatwave is so bad. We need a nice, cool, place to enjoy a meal. We were sweating the entire dinner. No bueno. The food was good. The appetizers are always my favorite. I love the spinach and artichoke dip and the mozzarella sticks. We got the sampler platter. I got a salad and added salmon on top. The salmon filet was thin. I wish it was bigger and had more meat. That's okay, I guess. Salad itself was fresh. My husband got a burger and enjoyed it. My mom got a veggie bowl, and my dad got steak. BJs as an entire corporation is diabolical for thinking it's okay to terminate the white macadamia pizookie. I'm not sure who is responsible for this decision but surely they could've done literally anything else to their menu. Anyways. This BJs gets extremely busy, so sometimes you're not quite sure what you're going to get. There have been several times when I've gone and they run out of certain dishes like the calamari. :/ however, I did decide to visit again recently and was really pushing my luck with how sleepy and tired my kids were. Came in on Friday night to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was packed. The restaurant has lots of seating inside and outside, but they are always busy. Luckily, we were able to get a booth at the bar which is first come first serve. There's big screen TVs all over the restaurant, so you can watch your sport games while eating. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. She kept our drinks refilled. The food came out quickly and it was tasty. We loved the lemon pepper wings that are bone-in instead of boneless. Their deep dish pizza is always good. The avocado egg rolls were a bit soggy and mushy so it wasn't my favorite. The sliders were very good and yummy. We definitely love coming during Happy Hour and sitting at the bar, but we wish they had more food options on their menu. read more

It's a busy restaurant so something is bound to slip but nothing out of the humanly ordinary. We tried the BJs Favorite pizza last night and it's my fav! I'm glad they got rid of the chunks of tomato in their pizza because that was not tasty. But, hey, they listened to their customers. Another huge plus! We'll definitely keep coming back! I am extremely disappointed with this location, and this was my second--and final--attempt to order takeout. The first time I ordered, items were missing. I let it go. On this visit, my order was confirmed, I was charged, and I received a receipt. After driving 25 minutes, I arrived only to discover my order had "failed" in the system. I was given no notice or call. When I phoned at 4:15pm, the takeout host failed to handle the situation appropriately. Instead of involving a manager, she prioritized assisting other guests, leaving me waiting an additional 15 minutes for clarification and another 15 minutes for my order to be remade. The takeout host lacked urgency, prioritization, and the ability to escalate an issue. What made the experience worse was that the manager never came out to acknowledge the mistake or apologize. This level of service is unacceptable and makes it clear that customer experience is not valued at this location. And why are the pizookies always overcooked and burnt on the top?! Ugh! read more

We go to BJ's often. I decided to order an Asian chicken salad. I had ordered it before awhile back. This salad was nothing like before. It was soggy with dressing...long pieces of red leaf lettuce...very little cabbage , and sliced chicken breast on one side. I was so disappointed. They need to redo the recipe. Did not resemble an Asian salad. Looked like a soggy mess. The service was pretty good. Our waitress waits on us a lot. She was spread pretty thin. I wish BJ's Would change up their menu. Prices rise but entrees don't. Same lunch specials ...never change. This has always been our go to restaurant. We're considering changing to Lazy Dog. read more

The Corona location is normally the BH's we cime to. Todat was very disappointing. The food took a long time to come out, and when it did it was cold. My husband returned it. I orded the garlic shirmp with cheese toast, the bread was so hard almost as they rewarmed it and let it sit. I then ordered the soup and salad and they brought the salad and took forever to bring my soup... never came back to ask if I wanted anything else. Very disapointed. read more
