Came here with my mom about a week ago and the food was really delicious. They have a special right now that's 2 for $25 which means you get an appetizer for two people and two entrées which technically is 3 for $25 which was great if you get a steak and that's $5 more but it was really worth it. The manager was very attentive and asked us if everything was good. There was a moment that the waitress misunderstood what we wanted, but they fixed the situation ASAP. If I could give this Applebee's off of McKinley, a zero I would. The service was nonexistent. Me and my husband wanted a date night and in return got ignored. When me and my husband arrived at 6:30, there was nobody at the hostess stand. Maybe it was due to the fact that they were all gathered around the bar talking about who did what and why. After waiting five minutes a server took the time to remove herself from the employees that were gossiping to seat us in a booth that was close to the door. She noticed the table was not that clean so she came back with a towel to clean it off. After me and my husband sat down for a total of maybe another 5 to 7 minutes my husband got up to use the restroom and still, nobody acknowledged us. Nobody came to see if we had been helped. Absolutely nothing. I gave Applebee's until 7 o'clock to see if somebody would even offer us a glass of water and into my dismay, nobody care to stop. The sad thing about the situation was 3 to 4 servers kept walking back-and-forth, and none of them even stopped, including the waitress who sat us down at the table. I have never experienced this type of service in Applebee's, especially this one. So I don't want to hear that you guys were having a bad day or short staffed. All I was asking for was to be greeted in some kind of way, and you guys failed to do so. Not even the manager who I was trying to make eye contact with came to our table to ask if we have been helped. After a long and hard days work, nothing hits home better than happy hour at the Applebees. We were greeted kindly by our waitress and after she got our orders in, the food came out roughly 30 minutes after, the restaurant was a bit busy around 9pm. My order, although it was plain, was very well made and the garlicky green beans were VERY garlicky, really made my meal worth it in my opinion. The pasta and chicken sandwich were also not bad so overall the food experience was average. Main concern was the waitstaff as it took a lot of frantic waving to get them to come to our table and after ordering our drinks, we didn't receive our AMFs for another 30 minutes even when the bar was right in front of us. I would say that the deals made our experience worth it but I think a different Applebees may be in store for the near future read more

Tonight seemed like a busy night for our server, luckily the host was nearby and was able to let her know we wanted to add an appetizer and side of ranch. He was quick to make a couple runs to make sure we were taken care of and was also keeping busy clearing tables as he waited for new parties to walk in ( as a host should but to be honestly after covid most youngins stand around knowing they don't get a tip). I was so impressed with his work ethic and customer service that we offered a tip to make him feel appreciated. That's good but maybe give us a couple of minutes to look over it. The host was on top of everything so there really isn't any serious issues. When it comes to the food I'd say it was alright. I ordered their 4 cheese Mac and Cheese dish with their "Chicken tenders". The chicken tenders were notably small. Almost for the size of a child. And this wasn't on the kids menu. My date ordered their stake. I was a bit shocked at the price. It was $24 for the whole thing. A bit much if you ask me. Other than that we had a pleasant experience. For the restaurant itself. I was shocked at how busy it was for coming in at 8:00 pm. The tables were clean as they can be. The lighting was good not too dark and not too bright. After sitting for 15 minutes staring at three empty booths we were told we couldn't be seated at any of them because they just seated a large party in the same area.. The hostess Esther decided to get an attitude when I pointed the three booths out to her. You can tell the manager runs a tight ship and all the staff members are constantly checking in on customers and making sure everyone is having a pleasant experience. They are currently having a deal where you can get 1 appetizer and 2 entrees for $25. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and it was delicious. I got an order of riblets with a side of onion rings (btw there was an additional charge that wasn't mentioned by our server Kylie) and my bf got an order of 6oz sirloin steak with a side of broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes (very tasty). On 4-16-2023 my partner and I were greeted weigh a warm welcome and seated right away. Which was great because we were hungry. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Was greeted by a female waitress at the front she seated us then we were helped by male waiter. Halfway through the meal my partner noticed his burger was not fully cooked nor mine. We told the waitress and she said that they were both fine when you can clearly see they were both pink. They did not even ask us to fully cook it in the beginning; They only recooked mines while leaving my partners pink. :/ was upset about the service because they only fixed mines after I had cut into it and noticed the issue. While my partner ate 1/4 of it and it was really pink. Thus they did not take his back.
