if you're wondering weather this is your sign to come here THIS IS IT!! I highly suggest dining at this Denny's. The customer service agent Maruf did a phenomenal job at checking us out by offering us to sign up with their rewards program which only took less than 30 seconds to do, it also discounted our order making it cheaper than what we were going to pay without a rewards account, and we also earned rewards from our purchase dining in today. And all of that was exactly what Maruf said we'd get which I'm happy I listened and signed up. The server Reina was super welcoming, respectful and efficient with serving us our food and checking if we needed anything while dining in. The chefs were quick and our food came out perfectly ready, hot, and cooked well. I ordered the banana choc pancakes and my husband ordered their t bone steak. I went to Denny's expecting a normal, easy dining experience, but it turned into an unnecessary argument over a simple coupon in the Denny's app. I had a 20% off entire order offer, and nowhere in the offer details did it say it excluded certain items. However, the manager refused to apply it. Instead of resolving it professionally, he tried to argue with me and even brought up that he has an MBA in marketing, claiming the coupon was just a "marketing gimmick" to get people in the door. That's not how you treat customers. If an offer is in the app, it should be honored as written. I had to go back and forth with him for about five minutes over something that should have taken seconds to fix. It was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and honestly embarrassing on his part. We usually don't come to Denny's on a Sunday but decided to try it out. It was busy but we were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant has lots of seating for small and large groups. It was almost full when we got there around 11 am. The young man who sat us down took our drink order. Our waiter, Landon, was very attentive and made sure to check on us, and he kept our drinks refilled. They now have the 5 slams menu starting at $5. The food came out of the kitchen so quickly. Food was hot and tasted fresh. We both got the Super Slam and their pancakes just hit every time. Our over easy eggs and hash browns were cooked to perfection. Pancakes are so fluffy and always delicious. I just wished they had thicker bacon cause they are paper thin. Overall, everything was amazing! Sitting at the bar allows you to get a full view of what's going on in the kitchen and staff. While I was waiting for my coffee, it's rather frustrating to see the staff gossiping and talking about non work related issues. I could hear customers complaining about the slow service while employees are just huddled around acting busy but not. They take a whole minute to add a scoop of butter to the pancakes, a little extra minutes standing at the kitchen counter computer trying to read all the orders that have timers on them to hurry up and serve. I had to interrupt the hostess Haley and another employee who was working the to go orders if someone could provide cream and sugar. They were just huddled and talking - not work related- and not working- just standing. Once they acknowledged, service turned for the better. Our food came out nice and hot- mind you, it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a good 8 minutes while the other plates were piling up under the heat lamp. I had to mentioned to our server, I think our food is ready. And she turned and started grabbing our plates. From the looks of it, the cooks are happy with their music on and cooking up some delicious food in a few minutes while it's the servers who move slower and unhappy than other places. Now the food, get the waffle! It's delicious! It's hot and crispy outer edges along with a pile of sweetened fruit. I omitted the caramel sauce and it still came out sweet and tasty! The fresh cracked eggs were just right and hubbys steak and eggs were pretty good too. I would say the pile of premade made bacon isn't the greatest. I came into Denny's expecting pancakes... and instead got a full-blown masterclass in customer service from Jenn. Jenn didn't just serve our table--she orchestrated the entire breakfast experience like a five-star brunch conductor. Coffee refills appeared before the cup even realized it was empty. Our food arrived hot, fast, and somehow exactly the way we wanted it, even though half our table ordered like we were solving a puzzle on a game show. At one point I'm pretty sure Jenn telepathically knew we needed more syrup. I didn't see her bring it. It just... appeared. If Denny's ever launches a superhero franchise, Jenn is clearly the origin story. Friendly, hilarious, efficient, and somehow running the whole section like a breakfast-serving ninja.
