My family and I enjoyed our dining experience here for the first time this past June. We came here with a large group right after graduation (so it was packed), though the wait time to be seated was still reasonable. We appreciate great customer service and attentiveness despite how busy they were. They give huge portions of delicious food. My mom is especially very picky, and she enjoyed every bite. We all did! The kids and I went back and had a nice breakfast not long ago. It was less busy so I was able to observe better how efficient everything is run. They've got a great team of folks there!

Overall it was a great experience. When I walked in I felt welcomed and was seated immediately. The waitress and overall service here were excellent, I always had what I needed when I needed it. I felt very comfortable and the ambiance around me was very welcoming. As far as the food I was impressed and satisfied with the taste and quality. The pancakes were very good compared to most places and they had a homemade type of taste. Menudo was on point and the prices were fair. I will be returning.

Oh yes I will be back! My mom's machaca and my omelette were both bomb! And I could see the cook cutting the dough for the biscuits for my biscuits and gravy?! The place is clean and the people were so friendly. Packed on a midweek mid morning! Goodfor them! They only lost a star for serving using plastic...my personal bias in hopes that folks will do better.

Came here for our first time this morning to take our daughter to a birthday breakfast. Cute country diner feel inside. It was busy but not too noisy. Our waitress was wonderful! So kind and great people skills! My kids 10/10 enjoyed their breakfast! For the kids breakfast meals, I asked for no powdered sugar, whipped cream instead and sugar free syrup to make it less of a sugar bomb breakfast since we normally don't eat gluten/ high sugary meals. All of our scrambled eggs were a little overcooked but overall experience 4/5 Stars! We'd come back for sure! Thank you Rodeo Cafe!

Met a friend for brunch here. She ordered an omelette with potatoes and said it was very good. I ordered a burger on sourdough bread with fries. It wasn't bad but nothing I'd order again. Tell the patty was a frozen patty our server was good. He checked on us a couple times and he did get our order right so that was nice. It's a café vibe with the chill ambience. It's not very big inside but that's OK. It doesn't need to be. They do close a little early because I think it's more like a café. All in all I would definitely go back, but I wouldn't order a burger. I think I would order breakfast.

What's up Yelp fam! Had Breakfast here at Rodeo Cafe after a night of debauchery at 80's Club Bar and Grill which was awesome!! This was the perfect place for the morning after!! Menudo! Chilaquiles! What! Let's go!! Wife and I came here with her Aunt and Uncle and although the dining area wasn't super big the Service was!! Very attentive they don't rush you and their food was on point! I had the Chilaquiles (Green!) great chile verde sauce spicy but not over powering chips kept their integrity with perfect over easy eggs delish my wife and aunt both got the Menudo with Pata! Very rich broth a little on the spicy side but that cure all broth is what's up! My Uncle ordered the French Toast with breakfast sausages the size of bratwursts I mean all the plates were huge! The kicker were those Rodeo Potatoes!! Thick sliced potatoes with onions were mouth watering!! Great place great for great service!!! But hey judge for yourself

It's a small, cozy spot with a very homey feel. Nothing fancy, just comfortable and welcoming. I asked the barista for a recommendation and she suggested the Funky Monkey, a mix of peanut butter, chocolate, banana, and espresso. It was good. Not the best iced coffee I've ever had, but solid and satisfying after being out in the sun all day. Honestly, the beautiful weather made it taste even better. Would I go back? First thing I notice when I take a sip is my drink is peppermint. My husband said no to the Christmas version of my drink. He asked if I wanted to go in. I said no. We had already waitrd 40 minutes and had a baby with us who needed a diaper chance, along with needing to hit the grocery store near by. We leave and go to a nearby grocery store. We get baby out of the car, get shopping cart and my husband picks up a drink and the lid wasnt on all the way. I immediately said we needed to go back and tell them about the peppermint and the lid! But baby needed her butt cleaned. So I went into grocery store, changed her diaper. Went back to car, loaded her up and went back while husband shopped. I got there and asked the nice young lady at the counter if I could have a remake of the one with the lid not on right. But totally get if its no. She said let me ask my boss. Boss came out and immediately asked for name on order I said it and started explaining what happened and went to say but I get if not. She immediately went 'Its been an hour!" I told her it took 40 minutes to get 2 drinks with no one in front of us! I had to reload baby up etc. She started saying we needed to come in right away etc. But we did as fast as we could. Wouldn't even let me get a word in about just paying for another drink. Lecturing me on how the lids fit tightly... its why I came back. Its why I pointed out the peppermint. Mistakes happened. I didnt care, was even going to buy replacement. Instead the boss went around telling other customers how I came back an hour later.. Next time just politely say no, its been too long. I wasn't even going to argue about it.

Later, the owner approached me and asked me to leave because I had not purchased anything, explaining that the café was not a public library and referencing others who use cafés as workspaces. As someone who values and supports small businesses--especially in our post-pandemic community--I was disappointed by the lack of compassion and clarity in how this was handled. I understand and respect a business owner's right to set policies, but when those expectations are not clearly communicated to all guests, enforcement can feel abrupt and personal. Small businesses often pride themselves on community, warmth, and care. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had here. I hope that in the future, clearer communication and a more empathetic approach can guide interactions with patrons.

I asked if oat milk was used, and she confirmed that it was. She then remade the drink, which took less than 2 minutes--making the original 20-minute wait even more frustrating. Even the remade drink was terrible: no foam, no espresso flavor, and it honestly tasted like plain brewed coffee rather than a latte. Between the incorrect charge, excessive wait time, and extremely poor drink quality, the entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I've since heard that this shop may be closing, and based on my experience, that's probably for the best. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to others.

Canvas Coffee caught my eye, and I loved that it felt community-driven right from the start. It's located next door to a church, and you can tell there's an affiliation because the space is huge, open, and welcoming. Everyone inside was genuinely kind and friendly. It has that warm, community vibe that makes you feel comfortable immediately. I can imagine it being especially lively on a Sunday morning when services let out. The menu is fun and extensive. I originally considered the "Katy Perry" drink (which sounded adorable), but it's a layered drink and I wasn't in the mood for something sweet or decorative. I went with my usual: a sugar-free vanilla latte topped with salted caramel cold foam. I was only the third person in line, and my drink came out almost immediately, which I appreciated. They also had several breakfast options that looked really good. The jalapeño bagel stood out to me, and the veggie bagel sandwich looked tempting too. I just wasn't hungry enough to commit this time, but I'd definitely try one on a return visit. As for the coffee itself, it arrived piping hot, which I love. On first sip, though, it was lighter in flavor than I expected. If you prefer a blonde roast or a milder coffee profile, this might be your spot. I personally tend to gravitate toward a more medium or bold roast, so it didn't quite hit that depth I usually look for. Overall: Atmosphere - great Service - friendly and efficient Coffee strength - lighter than my preference Four stars from me. I'd come back, especially for the vibe and to give the food menu a try next time.
