The better half of this bagel lol

The staff is all extremely nice however charging $1.25 for adding on cream cheese for then this to be the most cream cheese on your bagel is absolutely criminal. Also, the bagels are not even toasted. They are pushed through the heat for like half a second and are still cold. I ended up having to pay another dollar 25 for a side of cream cheese to eat my bagel.

Staff is nice and welcoming. The Sunrise Flatbread was delicious and light. Lots of parking outside. There is a small outdoor patio too.

Second time coming here today in the last week. I wanted to try something different than Starbucks. I was hoping for a cool coffee shop vibe. The woman who helped me was really nice and cheerful both times. The second time however they charged me for a cup fee. My drink was 2 espresso shots with oat milk and Splenda. Total was $3.70 . There was no Splenda in the drink and when they handed it to me there was no oat milk. When I brought it to their attention they fixed it right away. The first drink I got was basically the same thing except I tried sugar free banana instead of Splenda which made the total $4.90 . Starbucks charges $3.45 . Overall I like supporting small businesses I would still go back but it's not as convenient as the drive thru, I'm not saving and the coffee I have tried doesn't blow my socks off. Kind of irritating to pay for a cup. Kind of disappointed my order was wrong however they fixed it and the people are nice!

Canvas Coffee caught my eye, and I loved that it felt community-driven right from the start. It's located next door to a church, and you can tell there's an affiliation because the space is huge, open, and welcoming. Everyone inside was genuinely kind and friendly. It has that warm, community vibe that makes you feel comfortable immediately. I can imagine it being especially lively on a Sunday morning when services let out. The menu is fun and extensive. I originally considered the "Katy Perry" drink (which sounded adorable), but it's a layered drink and I wasn't in the mood for something sweet or decorative. I went with my usual: a sugar-free vanilla latte topped with salted caramel cold foam. I was only the third person in line, and my drink came out almost immediately, which I appreciated. They also had several breakfast options that looked really good. The jalapeño bagel stood out to me, and the veggie bagel sandwich looked tempting too. I just wasn't hungry enough to commit this time, but I'd definitely try one on a return visit. As for the coffee itself, it arrived piping hot, which I love. On first sip, though, it was lighter in flavor than I expected. If you prefer a blonde roast or a milder coffee profile, this might be your spot. I personally tend to gravitate toward a more medium or bold roast, so it didn't quite hit that depth I usually look for. Overall: Atmosphere - great Service - friendly and efficient Coffee strength - lighter than my preference Four stars from me. I'd come back, especially for the vibe and to give the food menu a try next time.

Cozy little dimly lit back rooms with an eclectic selection of decor. We will be frequenting this place from now on!

I mentioned I had never had it made this way before and was then told I was being rude. When the manager/owner came to speak with me, who is also her mother-in-law, I explained what happened and was told that if I wanted it topped off, I would need to pay extra for more milk. She quickly escalated the situation unnecessarily and started clapping and making hand gestures. There was no sense of courtesy or professionalism but egotism. I remained calm and respectful the entire time and simply requested a refund. I was there with my children and friends, and after the refund was issued, I promptly walked out with my kids. I was unaware that she was following behind us "escorting" us out. When we were outside the door, my friend asked why she felt the need to escort us out. She clapped her hands and said, "I gave you a refund, now leave." I was honestly flabbergasted. I have never experienced anything like this before. Her lack of self-control was mind-blowing. She seemed to feel the need to make herself feel superior, which honestly came across as sad and rooted in insecurity.

Later, the owner approached me and asked me to leave because I had not purchased anything, explaining that the café was not a public library and referencing others who use cafés as workspaces. As someone who values and supports small businesses--especially in our post-pandemic community--I was disappointed by the lack of compassion and clarity in how this was handled. I understand and respect a business owner's right to set policies, but when those expectations are not clearly communicated to all guests, enforcement can feel abrupt and personal. Small businesses often pride themselves on community, warmth, and care. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had here. I hope that in the future, clearer communication and a more empathetic approach can guide interactions with patrons.

The decor and ambiance was very soothing and modern. The place was clean and organized. Definitely a great spot for a date. Food 9/10 Me and my girlfriend got the Apple empanadas and the chefs platter. The other party ordered a mole brisket dish and something that had gravy which I don't remember. The Apple empanadas was so good. It was like eating an hot apple pie with cinnamon on top and adding this milky sauce on top which melts in your mouth. So good! I loved the chefs platter which was $70 and it was enough for 2-3 people. The chefs platter contained chicken, steak, juicy plantain, chilaquiles, and homestyle potatoes. This dish was absolutely amazing and everything tasted great. Service 8/10 The service was good. Our waiter was always checking in on us and getting everything we needed in a timely matter. During our meal, the drink waitress accidentally dropped two full drinks all over my 4-year-old niece. It was a literal waterfall pouring over her. Her dress was completely drenched, and she was covered in drinks and ice. Her mom also had coffee spilled all over her dress and shoes. Thankfully, we had extra clothes in the car, but it was still a pretty upsetting experience -- especially for a child. Our main waiter did come over and offered 20% off the meals and 3 free desserts for our party of 11. We appreciated that gesture, and the waitress herself seemed genuinely apologetic. We understand accidents happen. However, when we asked to speak with the manager, his response completely changed the tone of the experience. He didn't seem apologetic at all. We explained that we didn't feel 20% off was enough considering what happened, and he responded with, "I don't know how two people getting drinks on them means you all get free meals." I understand that expecting the entire tab to be covered may have been a stretch, but the issue was more about the lack of empathy and customer service. Dining out is about the overall experience, and his tone made the situation worse. He could have simply offered another solution or responded with more understanding. After that interaction, the service noticeably declined. Staff rarely checked on our table, while the manager continued warmly interacting with other guests nearby. The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the food itself was actually very good. Unfortunately, the overall experience overshadowed it.

The building is so small that even tho they have a menu board before you get to the window, there's no speaker to place your order until you pull up to the window. So if you're a first timer like me, you can look over the menu and make your selections in your head while you're waiting to pull forward. They have a nice variety of coffees, specialty coffees, iced or blended coffees, teas, and energy drinks. Today we tried the Peanut Butter Mocha and the Java Chip Classic, both blended. I got an extra scoop of peanut butter in my drink and I LOVED it! I brought the Java Chip Classic and a turkey and cheese croissant home for my daughter and she really enjoyed both as well. You both order and pay at the window but a menu is conveniently located when you are in the position as the next car to order. I ordered a blended peanut butter mocha coffee. It took less than 3 minutes to have it in hand. Peanut butter. Chocolate. Coffee. All three flavors were there although the peanut butter was more prevalent.
