Honestly, I was underwhelmed. I know this is a neighborhood favorite, but I just don't get the hype. We came on a Tuesday morning around 9am and we had the place to ourselves. The place seemed like a dated Bob Marley shrine. A little eerie in my opinion. I ordered a BA 'Eggel sandwich and an almond milk hazelnut latte. The bagel wasn't bad, but is it something I could whip up? Totally. I liked the coffee, but again, nothing stood out. My husband ordered the breakfast flatbread pizza. I had a taste of that. Neither of us were impressed. Let's just say it was heavy in sauce and the sauce was a little too tomato-y and sour. Maybe we would have liked their Vietnamese coffee and banh mi sandwiches. Guess we'll never know! The owners were running the shop but both seemed tired and unenthusiastic. read more

Nice hidden place in the Ralph's shopping area. The coffee shop is cute & small and they do close early on Sundays. Came here to try their Vietnamese coffee since there isn't much offered in the area. The coffee was decent. A little more watered down than a normal Vietnamese coffee but still not bad. I usually like mine stronger & always go to the OC for those but this is ok for what it is in this area. Service was nice & friendly. Card fee for anything under $10 and looks like they offer banh mi too so we may come back to try that. read more

I'm SO happy this cafe hasn't succumbed to the demise that the other shops here have. I won't lie- previous to the last year, I hadn't paid too much attention to this spot because there were other quick options in this shopping center. However - I decided to give it another shot March 2025. THANK GOD I did. Their sandwiches, their coffees, their breakfast and their ice cream is SO GOOD. I love that I can see them preparing everything right behind the cash register. It makes me feel like someone who cares about me is making my food. The atmosphere is incredible too - it's always quiet, always a few people studying or reading, and the owners/ employees are happy to serve you see you! If you want fast food, I guess go through the drive thru - but expect sub-par service lol but if you're looking for someone to remember who you are week after week, make you QUALITY food with a smile, AND helping out a small business all at the same time? OMG I can't believe I didn't leave a review for my favorite Banh mi and ice coffee place! We moved here 6 years ago and this is our first spot that we stop for some foods! We LOVED the breakfast pizzas here ! My mom will visit from Texas and she will always ask us to take her to here for the breakfast pizza! My favorite local coffee shop. The iced coffees are delicious and can't go wrong with any of their choices. They have different milk options too for those who can't have lactose. The owners are so sweet and give great service, they bring your order to you. I usually get my order to go and wait on one of their comfy choices and they come bring it to me, they're so kind and give me my coffee order first so I can drink it while I wait for my food. I love the feel of the cafe, some days I'll go in and just read my book or do some work and it's so peaceful. It's not loud, very cozy and comfortable seating. Lots of lighting from the glass windows making reading easy. Definitely a go to spot. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. :) read more

Honestly one of the best Banh Mi sandwiches in the Corona area. Every time we pass by or need a lunch on the go, we go here. It's on par with most places in Westminster. The bread is very good and the filling is just the right ratio. We always get the pork one and every time it has been great. The owner and his wife are also always friendly. This place was such a cute spot to enjoy a coffee and a quick meal. The prices are so affordable. I got an iced coffee and a small pizza for under $12. The Vietnamese ice coffee was strong but not too sweet. I wish this place was near me because I would come here for a quick lunch. This mom and pop shop was welcoming and a perfect place to stop by during my road trip. They also had issues with the register so I had to pay via venmo which was no big deal. Ok I am totally sold on the experience here. After such a great express last time I figured I come here again for coffee and a sandwich. Omg was the service beyond what I saw last time. The last time I came it was fairly empty and one of the owner did bring my drink out, which I thought was sweet but at the same time I thought he did that since I was practically the only one there and he just decided to go the extra mile. Boy was I wrong. This time it was fairly busy and he still provided the same service. They never asked for my name and he wasn't the one that took my order so for the staff to communicate and was able to find me and bring my order while I was sitting was such a nice touch and I love the attention to detail on that. The lady that took my order is super sweet, kind, and patient at explaining their ingredients to me. On top of that, the bánh mì is amazing!! I was not expecting it to be super fresh since most places don't just make their fixings fresh throughout the day, but typically prep in the morning before opening. Their sandwich was crispy and warm. I ordered the veggie sandwich and the tofu was freshly made and still warm in the middle. My word! What a find! Friends found it on a whim while we were driving from riverside to Oceanside and am I ever so glad. Ridiculously yummy Banh Mi sandwich!!!! Hadn't a clue what it was but a person in line recommended it. Got the special one. Wish I lived near here, to enjoy it often. Ask for avocado smoothie. They don't have it on the menu but owners will be joyful for the request. They were when I asked because my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Kentucky serves the best. This place matched it!!!!!! I was shocked!!!! They made it AS delicious as the Kentucky family restaurant I miss. Of course I gave zero instructions, I know nothing of how the family makes it in Kentucky. The selfish part of me wants to keep this place quiet so it doesn't get too crowded. But the couple who runs this place is so sweet and the food and coffee is so amazing, I am going to write about it for the world. Hands down, the best hot Chai Tea Latte I've ever had. It's cute inside also and really great service the man who took my order was very polite and patient with me because I wanted to know every sugar free flavor they had. Went here cuz the iced coffee sounded good with Ibarra chocolate. Ordered and lady looked at me like I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about chocolate in the drink . So I just ordered the cold brew with half and half. She gave me a strong brewed coffee and barely any milk in it that I couldn't finish it cuz I can't do strong coffee and I like my iced coffee beige with plenty of milk. So I thought I'd try to make it better by sprinkling chocolate on it available from the counter and the container was Empty. No one bothered to check to refill it. I also ordered the Beat sandwich and the egg was dry. She also didn't slice it in half, just gave me the whole sandwich. Was in the area looking for a morning snack, saw on Yelp they serve breakfast and pastries so I stopped in. The pasty case has many very sweet looking offerings but I wanted something savory so I decided on a bagel sandwich. It's listed as BA'ggel or some other weird spelling on the menu but it's ham, egg and cheese on a toasted bagel. As I walk up to the counter, I saw they had a breakfast combo deal running, with the bagel sandwich and a coffee. I don't drink coffee so I asked the lady if I could sub in some hot tea instead. She said okay. Sweet! While I was waiting for her to make the sandwich, the owner came out and asked if I needed help. I told him I was just waiting for my food and asked how he was doing. He took a big sigh and talked a bit about how hard it's been for small independent businesses like his this past year. His business is only three years old now so it was still pretty new when the pandemic hit and shut everything down, taking all his customers with it. This chatty sweet fella seems very hard-working and earnestly just trying to live the American Dream. Support small businesses, everyone! So about the sandwich. I got it to-go or I would have asked for mayo since I like mayo with eggs in sandwiches but it was pretty juicy as is. The paper it came wrapped in got a bit soaked from the juices as I ate it. Well made with care and tasty. Would eat again! The vanilla chai tea was just from a teabag but the half and half I asked the lady for made it perfect for me. The decor of the restaurant is cozy with Bob Marley significantly represented. Plenty of comfortable seating areas available. Apparently there is live music on the weekends. My husband wanted to try this coffee spot. The debit service was not available for payment. Therefore, we had to pay with venmo or cash, and we didn't have cash, and we couldn't connect to pay with venmo. Importantly, the man got frustrated/upset when I asked for the sugar and creamer station, not knowing the Creamer is added behind the counter. This mom and pop coffee shop is worth the wait. The ingredients for the sandwiches look fresh and taste better than any other big chain coffee shops that have sandwiches. They have a breakfast and lunch menu on the wall and then an additional menu of Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches. I got the grilled pork banh mi, and omg, so good!
