I normally love this place, but recently when I go they give me less of what I pay extra for. When I pay for 3X on peanut butter I expect to get it. Not the normal amount you would get normally. I'm paying about $27 with a tip for a bowl. I should get what I pay for. read more

The girl who took my order was really helpful and answered all my dietary questions - yes it's dairy free and the pudding has a coconut milk base. The fruit toppings were in season and delicious. However, the cheese bread is really hard compared to others I've had. All in all, this is a fun restaurant. They have ample seats and even a purple couch area. Many pretty places to take pics of your bowl to tag them on Instagram. Bonus - the bathrooms were super clean. My medium pudding was about $12. read more

Wonderful staff gave us some great recommendations since we were new. Enjoyed a morning hike and came across Acai Republic, thanks to Yelp. Once again, Yelp, you did NOT lead me astray. I've finally found my FAVORITE acai spot! (Per their staff's suggestion, we were sure to download their app for some great promos). Their acai bowls are the best , in my opinion.. So flavorful and satisfying with a variety of toppings to choose. . I love their Cali bowl's acai base!! The fruit combinations mesh perfectly with sweetness and tartness. So flavorful and just a perfect balance that complements their assorted toppings. I tried the Cali bowl on this visit and loved every bite. To me, it felt like I was devouring the best sorbet ever. Not only do they offer some delicious and vibrant acai bowls,. but they also offer some decadent bakery selections called the cheese bread, empanada, and this coxhina (Sp??) pastry (shredded chicken and cream cheese filling was fantastic). There's even a banana bread I've yet to try, but will on the next visit.. Ecstatic to learn they have several locations to check out too. Recommended by a friend. I've only ate an Acai bowl once in my lifetime. Let me tell you this place will definitely be my go to when I want something healthy and delicious. No more ice cream for me. I'm lactose intolerant so I have no business eating ice cream in the first place. The young gentleman at the register was so kind and assisted me in making my selection since I don't like bananas or mango. I got the Tahiti no bananas and added pineapple. Jab, jab, jab... what the flying monkeys man.... My spoon is plastic, and this bowl is hard like a rock almost. Ok, can I get a knife please? Ok nevermind, I got some out. Let me sit here for a few minutes, so it can melt a little. I can barely put this in my mouth. Yikes. Whose heard of a frozen iced açaí bowl? You know that part were you have to use a spoon to scoop it up and put it in your mouth? The bottom of this bowl was literally almost frozen like. My spoon was fighting for it's life. I'm trying to eat a bowl of Açaí not trying to "play with my food" here by using the spoon to try to scoop up this frozen piece of icicle that is supposedly a açaí bowl. SMH *emoji* What has gone wrong? This is by far the weirdest and most awkward moment for me. I've never eaten a Açaí bowl were I can't even spoon up my toppings because it's so frozen. On top of that, when I did get a scoop of my açaí bowl, it was so cold, my mouth went into a rage. I can't eat super cold stuff because my teeth is sensitive when it comes to a certain level of cold. My mouth was literally getting a cold sore inside because it was so cold. My teeth were tingling in a bad way cause they felt like they were eating icicles. My teeth are highly sensitive to very, very cold drinks. Iced drinks are fine but this was frozen like hard rock. It's not even ice cream. Ice cream I can handle. This was biting on a hard piece of loaded sh*t. I was like uhhhh.... So I had to eat one bite every 5 minutes because it was so intensely cold. Brrrrr.... Try having an igloo in your mouth. Yup. That's what I'm talking about. The beef empanada was a little above mediocre. I can't complain. All I can say it though, I've had better empanadas. Their wasn't a lot of beef inside and the beef was also tasting a little on the dryer side but nothing I can't swallow. The exterior was decently crunchy. BUT as I've said I've had better empanadas. The Pitaya Smoothie was ok. It's not the best I've ever had but it's also not the worse I've ever had. They blended the strawberries and the dragonfruit ok. I taste more strawberries more than anything though. Will I be back? I don't think so. 2 Stars for good customer service. Food wise? Thank you, next. My opinion? Try at your own risk. read more
