This is the closest location to my home so I do frequent it, especially during my work week and almost every time I have been greeted by a shorter black woman, her name could be Hanit G based on my most recent receipt/trip. She is efficient and always very friendly and even while training a newer male employee this day, she remained her usual great, customer service first-self. Which I so appreciate! Another recent visit, it was her and another black woman who appeared to be a manager during a very busy lunch rush, and they both showed me great service, explained the new app process and my order was delicious and correct, like usual. Rude customer service from the moment I walked in- they got my order wrong and when I told them they had a horrible attitude. They did offer to remake it but with a horrible tone and attitude. I just said it was fine and walked out. We where the only customers inside so there shouldn't of been "we where slammed" for the excuse to treat a customer like that. Plus a customer that tips. I'm really disappointed that twice in a roll we came here and our smoothie was not up to par. The first time we came and ordered the lava flow with immunity boost, it was perfect. It was thick and had lots of coconut flavor and pieces in the each sip. The last two times had no coconut flavor or pieces and it was more like a juice. Smoothies should be thick and not liquidity. We decided to give them one more try today and it was the worse we've had. We had big chunks of fruit left on the bottom and it did not taste like a lava flow at all. I would have given them one star but because I've had a good smoothie once before I will give them two stars. I think they need to make sure they train their staff better so that it is consistent. DO NOT EAT HERE! If anything, save yourself the fucking headache and go to the Juice it Up on E. Ontario Avenue instead. This location has the WORST customer service, the orders take for-fucking-ever and it's a complete waste of your money because the bowls are shit every single time. Clearly, the bananas were rotten, but instead of getting FRESH bananas, they decide to blend up the yummy rotten bananas and serve them to customers. My bowl took well over half an hour to be made, yet it was missing three other ingredients I paid for (besides yummy rotten fruit). For example, I asked for extra peanut butter and guess what? No peanut butter at all. I had to throw the entire bowl away because of how disgusting it was. I attempted to contact the manager multiple times with no response or acknowledgement. No apology, no refund, NOTHING. I decided never to come here again. Today, I accidentally(!!!!!!!) ordered from this location instead of the one on E. Ontario one. I ordered the bowl at 4:12pm and the app said it would be ready by 4:37pm. Not only was it NOT ready by 4:37, they hadn't even STARTED on it when I arrived at 4:45pm. I can't stand peanut butter, so the bowl was inedible to me. The second bowl had mushy bananas and hardly any granola. The texture of both was more liquid than soup. There was a sign about training new people and I understand there may be some growing pains, but this is pretty unacceptable. When you're paying around $10 for a bowl, you expect it to be what you ordered. I honestly should be refunded for the mess I received today. I go to this juice it up a lot. I like that they enforce their no mask policy, but I do think it's a roulette depending on who's on shift in terms of quality. Today, I ordered a drink with a substitute from yogurt to sherbet. I'm not sure if the guy making my smoothie was new. I saw the person taking my order specifically instruct this guy to make my special order. Anyways they messed up my drink even though I paid extra for the substitutions. I didn't realize til I was in my car and drank it. With COVID and social distancing, I just didn't feel it was worth it to take my drink back but I'm sure they would remake it. I've been here multiple times and majority of the time I always had an issue with my order where either they misunderstand me and give me something different or the order just isn't done properly. The service is good I'll give them that but a lot of mistakes are often being made at this store. I stopped by today and ordered a protein acai bowl but instead was given a normal acai bowl and it was fine at first, they took it back and gave me the correct order however it wasn't properly blended so it was super thick and it still had chuncks of banana. My boyfriend ordered a smoothie and it also wasn't blended properly. All the fruits were at the bottom of the drink and there was ice chuncks as well. Go to another location!!!! I came in here today to grab 2 smoothies. There were 2 people ahead of me who already ordered. When i ordered there was one girl working. "Get me a Seabreeze Squeeze....pause....pause....moan..... cough cough....please?" I think he said something about being ready to die, or was it ready to puke? Bad connection. So they quickly whipped up that magically super duper, icee, juicy, sugary drink (and you know it's got to have some form of sugar, it's way too sweet for natural sweetness), adding a free scoop of Echinacea for good measure, and I flew home to keep him from dying. Super mom saves the day, and baby boy will live to see 36. The only reason I come here is because it's the only juice it up on my way to work. I usually come a couple times a week and my smoothie is always good but the service sucks. I always order ahead because I like to pick it up on my way to work but my drink is NEVER ready. EVER. I've never been able to walk in and just pick up my drink because all of the employees just sit in the back on their phones. And I know this because it always takes at least a minute for someone to come out and when I give them my name for my order, the tickets for the online drinks are just stacking up. Not a single drink made. I'm at the point now where I have to call them after I place my order to make sure they're gonna start making my drink. When I called today, someone thought it would be funny to say they were Dunkin' donuts then hang up on me. I called them back and they proceeded to give me attitude and be really snappy with me. When I went to pick up my drink, surprise surprise, it wasn't made and both girl employees were just sitting in the back. At this point I'm so over the service. I get juice it up as a quick drink before work but I've been late twice now because they never do their job and make the online drink orders on time.
