Live life juiced. I've frequented this particular location for years for a juice fix after soccer games, yoga class, or to just get my açaí on. As far as beverages go, my go-to smoothie has always been the Strawberry Wave, which includes Strawberry Juice, Non-Fat Yogurt, and banana. This drink isn't overly sweet, and can be paired with a boost - I typically pick energy. I've also ordered the ginger shots in the past for an additional immune boost. Not the tastiest, but it does the trick! Outside of smoothies, Juice it Up also serves tasty açaí bowls! I've ordered both their traditional Açaí Bowl and the Vital Proteins Blue Bowl. Their blue bowl blend includes collagen (great for your hair, skin, and nails), spirulina, Greek yogurt, pineapple, and mango. It's also topped with chia seeds, granola, banana, strawberry, and honey. While Juice it Up is a quick fix when you're looking for an açaí bowl, I'm never quite satisfied with the texture of their açaí blends. I'm really disappointed that twice in a roll we came here and our smoothie was not up to par. The first time we came and ordered the lava flow with immunity boost, it was perfect. It was thick and had lots of coconut flavor and pieces in the each sip. The last two times had no coconut flavor or pieces and it was more like a juice. Smoothies should be thick and not liquidity. We decided to give them one more try today and it was the worse we've had. We had big chunks of fruit left on the bottom and it did not taste like a lava flow at all. I would have given them one star but because I've had a good smoothie once before I will give them two stars. I think they need to make sure they train their staff better so that it is consistent. Rude customer service from the moment I walked in- they got my order wrong and when I told them they had a horrible attitude. They did offer to remake it but with a horrible tone and attitude. I just said it was fine and walked out. We where the only customers inside so there shouldn't of been "we where slammed" for the excuse to treat a customer like that. Plus a customer that tips. DO NOT EAT HERE! If anything, save yourself the fucking headache and go to the Juice it Up on E. Ontario Avenue instead. This location has the WORST customer service, the orders take for-fucking-ever and it's a complete waste of your money because the bowls are shit every single time. Three weeks ago I ordered a bowl from here--the smell alone was vile. Clearly, the bananas were rotten, but instead of getting FRESH bananas, they decide to blend up the yummy rotten bananas and serve them to customers. My bowl took well over half an hour to be made, yet it was missing three other ingredients I paid for (besides yummy rotten fruit). For example, I asked for extra peanut butter and guess what? No peanut butter at all. I had to throw the entire bowl away because of how disgusting it was. I attempted to contact the manager multiple times with no response or acknowledgement. No apology, no refund, NOTHING. I decided never to come here again. Today, I accidentally(!!!!!!!) ordered from this location instead of the one on E. Ontario one. I ordered the bowl at 4:12pm and the app said it would be ready by 4:37pm. Not only was it NOT ready by 4:37, they hadn't even STARTED on it when I arrived at 4:45pm. The bowls were absolute slop with the fruit strewn about. I had ordered the cold brew bowl and the toppings were wrong and peanut butter had been added for some reason. I can't stand peanut butter, so the bowl was inedible to me. The second bowl had mushy bananas and hardly any granola. The texture of both was more liquid than soup. There was a sign about training new people and I understand there may be some growing pains, but this is pretty unacceptable. When you're paying around $10 for a bowl, you expect it to be what you ordered. I honestly should be refunded for the mess I received today. I go to this juice it up a lot. I like that they enforce their no mask policy, but I do think it's a roulette depending on who's on shift in terms of quality. Today, I ordered a drink with a substitute from yogurt to sherbet. I'm not sure if the guy making my smoothie was new. I saw the person taking my order specifically instruct this guy to make my special order. Anyways they messed up my drink even though I paid extra for the substitutions. I didn't realize til I was in my car and drank it. With COVID and social distancing, I just didn't feel it was worth it to take my drink back but I'm sure they would remake it. I've been here multiple times and majority of the time I always had an issue with my order where either they misunderstand me and give me something different or the order just isn't done properly. The service is good I'll give them that but a lot of mistakes are often being made at this store. I stopped by today and ordered a protein acai bowl but instead was given a normal acai bowl and it was fine at first, they took it back and gave me the correct order however it wasn't properly blended so it was super thick and it still had chuncks of banana. My boyfriend ordered a smoothie and it also wasn't blended properly. All the fruits were at the bottom of the drink and there was ice chuncks as well. Go to another location!!!! I came in here today to grab 2 smoothies. There were 2 people ahead of me who already ordered. When i ordered there was one girl working. She told me when i ordered my small size it would be 5 minutes because they didn't have the size... ( not sure why she couldn't of just put it in a bigger cup) i said no problem I'll wait. Well 10 minutes go by she still hadn't finished the people nexts to me order. Then more people come in, instead of finishing the people's order who had been in front of me she kept taking orders. She did not clean the station or change her gloves after using the register. 5 more minutes and she finally finished the people in front of me order. She made 2 more bowls and smoothies for someone who came in after everyone..... Then another worker comes in from outside and started helping her immediately- HE DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS, he didn't put a mask on or put on any gloves!!!! Are you kidding me?!
