Stuck in traffic yesterday around 3 p.m., so I decided to release some stress and GET OFF of the 91 fwy. Felt like ice cream, so I Yelped it, of course. I love to try new things, and of course, being an elite Yelper, the 5 star rating caught my eye. So many flavors to choose from and the nice gentleman (most likely the owner) was SUPER nice and pleasant. I asked more than a few questions about the flavors and opted for the "walnut" (DELICIOUS) and the "tequila" Good and creamy, but I didn't taste much tequila. That's ok, cuz I still had a long drive home. LOL The sugar cone was also delicious, crispy and super fresh! No wonder this place has 5 stars. Good luck with your business... I'll stop again whenever I pass because it's right off the freeway. Easy off and on...

Definitely would recommend this place. You really get your money's worth of the dessert. I got a small cup of guava ice cream (no milk flavor) but it felt like a large with all the scoops they put in the cup. My friends got the mangonada which I got to taste. Both the ice cream and mangonada did NOT taste like artificial flavors. It's like you're eating the genuine fruits but in dessert form. A filling dessert that was much needed for the hot saturday I went through. This is a small store with no public restrooms but has a counter with stools where you can hang out and eat on, like I did with my friends. They also let you rate the flavors before you pick one. They were very patient with my indecisiveness.

This place is an ice-cream lover's dream come true! We walked in where immediately greeted by Julissa. She was so helpful and patient with me. There are so many things to choose from and I just couldn't make up mind. She took the time to have me taste the different flavors I was interested in and gave me descriptions of the flavors, as well. My little one chose the Bubble Gum popsicle and I chose the Nescafe on a cone. The Nescafé was amazing!...light, fluffy and creamy! When we were done, we both wanted another! Thank you, Julissa!

The mangoneadas are definitely a treat! The sorbet they use is so flavorful. It was recommended to get the lime with the mango. I was impressed. Quality and value. The mango pieces were fresh too and plentiful! I also appreciated the 2 kinds of Mexican candy on top. This is a place to try! Next time I'm getting a paleta, there were over 20 flavors.

So happy to have this place close to home! Loved the service here, the owner makes all the ice cream himself and has so many tasty and unique flavors and such fair prices, I really wish them all the best! Scoops are $1.50, about half of what I have gotten used to paying and generous as well. We tried several samples, I really loved them cheese ice cream (He uses cream cheese) as well as the red velvet cake with real cake chunks in it! My son loved the cookies and cream and we purchased 8 popsicles to take home as well. There are about 20 flavors of ice cream and even more of the popsicles, each of them great quality and there are plenty of dairy free options as well, all using fresh fruit. Easy parking in the strip mall and a few tables to sit at, but plan on taking it to go, great addition to the area!

Such a nice place in the neighborhood. I saw the menu and photos here on yelp and decided in this 100 degree environment to schlep my way over the block and a half from my house to cool down. Very clean and cool inside, no waste of space straight to the point: Ice cream. I planned on a quick pistachio and then dash, but when I noticed the strawberries And creme' I decided then and there on that flavor topping my first scoop. Best decision I've made all day. All I can say is WOW! I have been looking for a place that makes good bionico's for a while and I have to say this place does not make a good bionico BUT a GREAT one! I needed a Bionico tray for an event I was hosting and Albert was so helpful in accommodating my request to have the toppings separately packaged! I always say, any type of food can be good; but not always made with corazon, and this was definitely done right!! With pure amor! Thanks again Albert, for taking the time to make this with love and helping to make my mother's day event a lil extra special! ALL the mom's absolutely loved it and went back for seconds! Went in at 11am, when they're supposed to be open. The door was unlocked, but there was no one up front so we rang the bell and waited for a few minutes. A guy came out and said they're not open yet and stood there. We asked when they open and he said at 11:30am. We were just trying to get some paletas so I didn't see why he couldn't just sell us those since we were already there. Ended up going across the street to La Michoacana instead. This place should really update their hours. read more

This place has good mangonadas and paletas, but I've only been able to try it once because it has only been open 1 of 4 times I attempted to stop by during their posted business hours. Every time I come by around 6-7 pm the shop is closed, even though they are supposed to close at 8. Luckily I live close by or this would have been a huge waste of time. read more

--LOCATION-- Big Plaza that's next to a Jack N the Box (but that's not in the plaza per se). La Flor de Michoacan is located in the left corner of the plaza. Look for the bubble gum pink wall. --PARKING-- Plenty, lot shared with plaza --SEATING-- A couple seats here and there. You can grab something and sit. It doesn't seem like it ever really gets packed. --MENU-- there's ice cream and popsicles. I came for the homemade popsicles! Flavors that I remember: +vanilla +strawberry +Strawberry and cream +cookie monster +passion fruit kiwi +mango +coconut +hibiscus +papaya? +pineapple +guava? +chamango They have water based and milk based flavors. All the popsicles are chunky and vibrantly hued. You literally see the fruit chunks in your popsicle. Water based popsicles: $2 Milk based popiscles: $2.50 *25 cents extra if you pay with card I got the Passion Fruit Kiwi water based popsicle. I really, really liked it and it was incredibly refreshing for a VERY HOT day. --SERVICE-- Nice lady. She listed every flavor she had in the freezer for me. The Sweetest customer service! Might miss it but we found it just fine. Its in an older shopping center but dont let that stop you from going in. The best mangoneadas in town come try them out yourself you won't regret it they make all there ice cream there it's so delicious Family owned business the husband and wife that own this place are super nice they always greet us when we walk in they even ask me how my mom is doing cuz my mom and I use to go in together Also try there tostilocos or corn in cup also super delicious to be honest everything is delicious way better than all those other ice cream places this one is by far the best one I've tried come support your local small businesses instead of those big Chain ones. This is the place to go for some excellent all natural ice cream and paletas. Delish!! My favs that I highly recommend : Tequila Ice Cream, Mangoneadas in both mango and Tamarindo, and last but not least the Fresa con crema paletas. Pricing very reasonable and very friendly service from local owners who care about making each customer happy. We have became regulars in just 2 weeks from opening. read more

Driving down the 91 and got stuck in traffic. My girl was on Yelp and found this spot just off the freeway. This place was exactly what I had hoped it'd be, they had everything from tostilocos to strawberries and cream to mangoniadas. They had a decent ice cream selection. It's hard to find this kind of food this side of the border. It was ridiculously good and it didn't break the bank. I will literally stop here anytime I drive down the 91 and I'd recommend anyone driving thru Corona to do the same. read more

We specialize in ice cream and paletas and other tasty Mexican desserts. Over 100 flavors of artisanal ice cream dessert, ice cream bars, sundaes, and banana splits as well as smoothies, yogurt, milk shakes fresh and healthy natural fruit salads and snacks such as Tostilocos, Mangonadas, chicharron, esquites (corn in a cup), elote (corn on the cob) and much, much more.

Established in 2015.

Our family owned business started as a dream we've always had. We always wanted to create a product that was real and authentic to the consumer. What better product then what our family was already creating back in Michoacán, Mexico...ice cream. When we decided to open the ice cream parlor, we visited our family's shops in Michoacán to really learn the business. We brought the family's secret recipes with us, but we also experimented with new flavors of our own. We are not your typical Baskin Robbins 31 flavors...these are delicious artisan flavors with all-natural fresh ingredients, that you won't find anyplace else. Of course, we do carry the usual vanilla and chocolate, but for those who want to live on the edge, come in and try our different, special flavors, and we guarantee you'll leave with a smile!

Saw this place and immediately wanted to come because they have Mangoneadas (basically blended mango with Mexican toppings). Service was great, there was one girl helping us and she was super nice and translated things that we needed help with. HUGE selection of ice creams made with either water or cream. They also make their own ice cream bars with fresh fruit! Ended up getting a few scoops with some fresh toppings and I got a custom order of cucumbers w/spices/sauce/lime.
