This bakery is INCREDIBLE! This is a gift to the community. Everything is so delicious. I LOVE the Jerusalem bagel! It is coved in sesame seeds, chewy, with a hit of sweet. It sells out most days. All of the breads are amazing. The pitas are soft and flavorful and fluffy. So much better than commercial baked grocery bread. Prices are fair. The staff is caring. They will set aside goods for you if you are coming in later. The house made hummus in the bakery is my favorite! Tahini rich with a bit of zatar. I always buy 2 because I have almost finished 1 container before I get home. Fresh bread keeps well in the freezer. They also make cookies and baklava that I like because they're not too sweet like commercially made ones. The store is ok. Vegetable section is vast and cheap but lots of flies. They have a restaurant inside - I haven't tried. They have a meat counter I got some seasoned chicken with veggies to try but in the pan I found stickers left on bell peppers so I won't buy again. I usually like to buy halal because of cleanliness standards but then how did the sticker make it in if it was cleaned? read more

The experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered a large quantity of thyme flatbread, which was packaged in a way that made it impossible to inspect before leaving the store. Once I got home, I discovered that the entire batch was burned and essentially inedible. What's most frustrating is that whoever prepared the order showed no professionalism or accountability, rather than remaking or replacing the flatbread, they chose to pass the problem on to the customer and made me to absorb the cost of their mistake.
