Bread is essential! A blessing. The bakers at C Town bakery definitely provided! Super fresh, hearty and delicious. We also tried several cookies, serve it with hot tea or kahwa...perfection. Owner is kind and friendly. I will be back for sure to try the kunafe and other baked goods.

I'm here just for the manakish. Boy was I not disappointed. With each bite I was taken back to the winding streets of Bab Touma Did not disappoint

One of the greatest bakeries around. The guys provid good service,I always get my bread from their. Their kunafa is the best around. Today for the first time I tried their Dubai cake, it was worth it. Very tasty and delicious.

My melted dessert- was good tho

Came here to get some Kanafe- they were out and said it would take 30 min to get more - they offered to make me one in 10 min with 5 pieces for $35- that was nice of them but I didn't really need 5 slices. I got 2 slices of aish el saray instead- the slices were huge! $13 for 2... it was so melted because it's was literally 100 degrees in the place- I feel bad for these guys sweating their butts off! Anywho- my dessert was good- and the guys were friendly. The place is in a sketchy area of town - police were at the liquor store in the plaza getting a bum to leave , and they have security walking around -

Falafel, falafel sandwich, and falafel sandwich - 4.5/5. The falafel is clearly the star of the show. It's packed with flavor without being overpowering, and the texture is outstanding: crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and sturdy enough that it doesn't crumble apart after the first bite. Whether in a bowl or sandwich, it works perfectly as the centerpiece protein. Pita bread - 5/5. The pita deserves special praise, too. Honestly, one of the best I've had. And they are freshly made and served warm. It's lightly toasted on the outside while still staying soft, fluffy, and slightly chewy inside. That chewiness makes it perfect for soaking up all the sauces and dressings without falling apart. But it is great to eat the pita bread as it is. Hummus - 4/5. The hummus is also excellent, with a rich nuttiness and a smooth, satisfying texture that tastes fresh and well-balanced. Chicken - 3.5/5. The chicken was probably the only thing that didn't fully impress me. It's decent, but I wish it were juicier and had a little more fat for a fuller, more balanced flavor. Stick with the falafels. Pudding - 3.5/5. Desserts were surprisingly strong. The pudding was creamy and nicely sweetened without overdoing it. Peach Crumble - 4/5. But the peach crumble completely stole the show. It had the perfect level of sweetness, plus a richness and depth of flavor that made it feel far more refined than you'd expect from a casual falafel shop. Overall, this is one of the best falafel spots I've been to, and it's definitely worthy of the praise it gets.

We found the name of the restaurant to be funny, and ended up being very pleasantly surprised by the food there. I got the beef kebab plate and we got a side of falafel to share for the table (the falafel isn't on the menu but you can ask to order it as a side). The falafel came out piping hot and was crispy but not dry. The beef kebab plate was huge and enough for two people to share. The meat was cooked well and flavorful, and the garlic sauce (toum) was amazing. It wasn't super busy when we were there (on a Thursday evening), but our server was very nice. The portions are big at a good price, will be coming again if I'm passing through the area!

I arrived about 20 minutes after placing the order but still had to wait another 20 minutes, making the total wait time about 40 minutes. The beef shawarma was disappointing--it wasn't thinly sliced as expected but more like chopped or minced beef, and the flavor just wasn't up to par. I also ordered three kibbeh balls but only received two; the third was oddly replaced with chicken nugget pieces. The chicken tawook wrap was poorly prepared, lacked flavor, and was very underwhelming. Overall, the food didn't taste good, and with the long wait and odd substitutions without considerations. I wouldn't recommend this place.

With salad but barely filled half way in the half-sized to-go box, for $18. Came with a side of "pita bread" but it's actually pieces of flour tortilla... what?? Biggest complaint is the wait. With only 2 people ahead of me, having to wait over 30 minutes for my food. I see only 2 guys working in the kitchen and one of them is the cashier, ON A LUNCH HOUR. Clearly, they are making short cuts to maximize their profits. Will not return.

I was hoping the leftover falafel would taste better the next day, but sadly, it didn't. Chicken and beef kabob were decent. Kinda bummed how they didn't have some sort of combo bowl. You'd have to buy extra meat if you wanted to try different meats together. The extras and sides were quite pricey, too. We also tried a variety of flatbreads. The spinach and cheese was our favorite. We liked the zataar one, and the meat with jalapenos was just ok. The thick creamy garlic sauce went well with the thin, crispy flatbreads, while the runny white sauce tasted bland and slightly bitter (unpleasant with everything, to be honest). Overall, the food is fine, but I wouldn't go again. A few tables were available inside the small, simple-looking shop, but it felt a bit awkward eating there. Staff were not very attentive, but once we got their attention, they were helpful.

The tabbouleh is awesome - this is pretty much identical to mine so of course I would love it. The first time I came, I got the spicy falafel; The second time I got the regular. Just based on those two visits, I would recommend the regular. The spicy wasn't actually really spicy, and the patties were almost burnt. It tells you how good everything was that I still came back though. Second visit I got the regular patties and I really really enjoyed the bowl. Every ingredient is fresh and delicious, tahini is great, and there's a shaker of zataar for seasoning on the counter. Great prices, great owner, great food. Big thumbs up. Gotta try one of the fresh made flatbreads or wraps next time.
