Boba brings people together, and the folks at Krak do a phenomenal job of helping form those bonds. My partner and I walked into this specific, fine, establishment and were immediately greeted with Christmas music. Lighting our moods and filling our spirits with the spirit of Santa Claus. Yay! The woman who took our order was so kind and welcoming, she explained all of the specials and made us feel as if we were friends. Our drinks were crafted with love and care and my King Brulee milk tea is probably the best I've ever had. The careful yet generous amount of brown sugar and caramel reminded me of all the things that make life worth living. The mango smoothie was also phenomenal, both tart and sweet with a perfect smooth texture. Perfect for a warm sunny day. The store itself was decorated nicely, it was calm and beautiful, the lighting was lovely. And we appreciated looking at the little display of Sonny angels and keychains for sale. Krak Boba seems to have popped up almost everywhere now. Their drinks are consistently good amongst all location and this location in Corona holds the same franchise standard. It's a small store with some seating area. They have all the drinks you'd find in the other locations. I am always a fan of their classic milk tea with boba. I also tried their matcha milk tea with boba and it had a very nice, bold flavor which I always hope to get. Service is good as people working here were all friendly and accommodating with any questions about their products. read more

Surprisingly good boba! The Matcha Storm was similar to Omomo's Matcha drink due to the matcha brulee cup swirl. This boba was chewy yet it felt like it was sitting in sugar water for some time (honestly for getting this around 9pm I guess this is what I should expect). The winter melon milk tea didn't taste fruity at all, but maybe more so like coffee (?). It was enjoyed nonetheless! All drinks were requested at 50% sugar. Came in early on a Wednesday morning, ready to order my go-to drink, and the customer service I received ruined my whole experience. The usual young college students that work there are super friendly and know how to make my drinks just right. I don't know if this older Asian lady is new (because I've never seen her before), but when I ordered, she was so passive aggressive with me that I felt like an inconvenience of her time. I came on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy. The inside is modern and simple; there were several tables to sit and chat or to study. I liked that the menu was simple and easy to read. What I ordered: Guerrilla Thai 25% sweet with crystal boba - 5/5. Not only was it visually appealing, it was delicious! It's a matcha and Thai tea smoothie. It was not too sweet and perfectly blended. The Thai tea is overpowering and I wish I could taste the matcha more but still delicious nonetheless. It's nothing special in my opinion but I will say it's one of the better places in the area since Corona doesn't have that many boba spots. We had never been here so I asked for a couple of minutes, but the girl didn't respond and just stood there looking at us. We felt pressured to order so we picked two options from the pictures on the screen. One of the drinks was delicious (the white one with pink/yellow fruit my husband is holding)! The other one, however, tasted like a Danonino yogurt turned into a smoothie. It wasn't that good. Other than the cute interior and photo backdrops, this place is just okay. My husband stopped by this location yesterday after 5 pm since he was nearby and ended up ordering: Lychee Tea, $4.85 prior to tax- My husband ordered this drink to be made with no ice and 50% sweetener. It came with ice (even though the sticker on the cup has it printed with no ice). I thought this drink was a little on the sweet side. This drink had bits of lychee at the bottom, which was nice. My husband liked the drink. Strawberry Tea, $4.85 prior to tax- My husband ordered this drink to be made with no ice and 25% sweetener. I thought the drink was not sweet enough with the 25% sweetener so I added in my own sugar to my liking. Once it was at the sweetness I had, I thought it was fine. ------------------------ (Total= $10.55 after tax) Both of these drinks are made with black tea (I don't really like green tea so I am fine with black). I think if the lychee tea was made with 25% sweetener that may have been okay, as I am assuming the lychee pieces in the drink may already add an additional sweetness to the drink. If the strawberry tea was made with 50% sweetener, that may have been okay as well. Overall, I think this place is okay but would want to try a few other drinks to see if how they taste. read more
