The breakfast sando was hot and fresh! The horchata latte wasn't too milky so you could appreciate the cinnamon flavors. This cafe is located on a church campus.

If you're coming here for breakfast, yes, do that... If you're coming here for coffee, maybe go somewhere else I don't know what it is, but I feel like espresso beans are so hit or miss at mom and pop shops! And these ones are a miss. If you drink a lot of coffee, and you visit a lot of shops, then you know exactly what I mean when I say there are beans are bitter and too acidic and I don't know if they do ice first or if something needed to be calibrated, but my latte also seemed a little watery. I ordered a brown sugar latte and I didn't even finish it I came home an made myself a better latte That being said, I got their OG breakfast sandwich and that was pretty good and I got some blueberry waffle sticks for my daughter and those were also really good.

Yum!! This place was good! We stopped here to work while we were in town and were surprised by how large and pretty the surrounding area was. To our surprise it was a school/church/coffee shop all in one go haha. It was a beautiful location with many places to sit and work in peace. The food was yummy! I thoroughly enjoyed my latte and sandwich. The service was friendly and quick!

This cafe is very easy to spot. Once you approach closer to the area, there are signs where it is in the plaza. There is plenty of parking. The building is huge, almost like a suite. There is plenty of seating outside. Inside, the place has an industrial design to it. It's black and gray, dark. But there is plenty of lighting coming in with the huge windows. There many tables inside as well. There are people working on their laptops or just chatting while enjoying their drink. They have merch like shirts and hats for sale. I saw they had a huge menu written in chalk on the wall and a pastry shelf at the counter. They had cookies and other pastries. They have a specific menus for breakfast and lunch. I noticed they mainly specialize in espresso, since that was all that was on the menu. I chose to order a strawberry macchiato and the jalapeño popper. My total came out to $14. The barista was nice and cordial. I didn't have to wait too long for my items. My strawberry macchiato was really good, made well. And my jalapeño popper was also good. Very delicious. Thank you!

Coffee flight was very good! They all had a good amount of coffee and sweetness, which I liked.

I believe this coffee shop is a part of an evangelical church. There's also a school there. I was beginning to think I was in the wrong spot but finding the signage was simple. There's a ton of parking and the place is immaculate. There was people constantly cleaning and restocking items. They had relaxing music playing and comfortable seating indoors and outdoors. I got the strawberry macchiato and a chicken and bacon pesto sandwich which were delicious and the presentation was great. There's bathrooms straight ahead and to the left. There's a beautiful waterfall outside to sit by and relax and enjoy the sun. I paid $16.50 for the drink and sandwich and it included a bag of chips. Cash brings the price down. I saved about 63 cents.

This is inside the local church. A little hard to find if you don't know where to look. Luckily we came before the rush of people before Sunday service. Not sure if I would come back. It took a really long time for the food (it's more of a coffee place) and it wasn't that great of food IMO. We also picked the waffle sticks and didn't even like them enough to eat them.

I have been to Canvas a few times and meant to do a review sooner but I finally have some time to tell you... It's definitely worth the stop. I also want to say that after experiencing their dinner for two event me and my fiancée will be back for more. The environment is very open and inviting with natural lighting and seating inside and out. It has an industrial feel and they have an even split of comfortable reading, couples, studying , working, and community seating. It's got an industrial feeling but still Vibrant. The service has been pretty amazing every time we have gone and they are very quick about getting your coffee and food. Me and my fiancée attendant one of their date night for two events and the service was above and beyond. The food so I have a had a number of their matcha drinks that have been pretty amazing, one of which was their blueberry matcha. The bagels have been pretty amazing and I believe they make them in house. We had one of their western omelets and it was pretty good, I liked the freshness of the veggies inside and the sauce. As for the dinner for two event me and my fiancée enjoyed our evening very much, we got a flight and I'll say the drink that did it for us was the chi with coconut!!! The focaccia bread was pretty amazing, our second dish was a Cesar salad, it was good, the dressing was made from scratch so and we enjoyed the freshness. Next was chicken with pasta and Alfredo sauce. The pasta was freshly made, we would have like the noodles more al dente but we enjoyed the chicken and the sauce. The final was the tiramisu and it really complemented the meal. Me and my fiancée love too cook and we also had been to Italy so we did have ideas of yall do another Italian night. For the salad do a trio of caprese salad with some balsamic drizzle. The pasted just a little more al dente and add in some red chili peppers flakes. I once did a blue cheese Alfredo that was delicious. For the tiramisu, maybe soak the lady fingers a little longer in espresso and it would have been perfect. Overall canvas is an amazing spot to enjoy a lot of heart and the realized dreams of making some great food and coffee.

5 for the ample seating they had. The drinks were pretty good, nothing out of the world. I got the blueberry matcha which was very good. My friend got the strawberry lemonade, which was not freshly squeezed and too sweet. We call it the del taco lemonade... The service was good and helpful with recommendations. Anyways, very good place to study!

Canvas coffee is a solid coffee spot--plenty of room for seating, which makes it perfect for studying. The menu is large and has many options, including food. Service is always great. I've been here a few times and I always order the vanilla latte. It's delish! The food was great too, the one time I ordered it. Absolutely love studying here. It's quiet and comfortable.

A charming cafe with a cozy vibe offering coffee flights and horchata lattes I ordered the Orange White Mocha, not too sweet, nice hint of orange, a deight to drink. Staff was nice and place looked great. Love the design of the shop and chill vibes.

I really enjoyed their strawberry matcha. Their strawberry syrup doesn't taste overly sweet or artificial. The interior design of this coffee shop is very cozy and inviting too. There's plenty of seating inside (super comfy couches!) and even more seating outdoors. It's a great place to get work done! It's on the same campus as Crossroads church and is next door to the church's high school. I've only been to Canvas on weekday afternoons when it wasn't too busy, but I would not be surprised if Sundays are more hectic.

Yesterday, I went to canvas coffee. I wouldn't consider myself a regular, but I've been a handful of times. I stopped in right about the time church service was going on. It was crowded with a long line, but that didn't stop the quick service and receipt of my drink. The matcha I ordered wasn't the same as it has been in the past, but it was still tasty. The inside was busy, but there were tables available and spaces to sit. If you go on a Sunday, you might see a bit more of a crowd due to the coffee shop being located in church grounds. However, I plan to continue to come here as it's convenient and they do make good drinks.

On my most recent visit, there was a misunderstanding with my coffee order. I ordered it hot, but it came out iced. Mistakes happen, so that wasn't the issue. When I brought it to the barista's attention, I stood there expecting it to be corrected, but instead she looked at me and asked if I wanted it remade. I said yes, and she then told me it would be a long wait. I asked if I could just get a refund instead, but was told no because the order had already been made. I then asked if it could be moved toward the front of the queue since the mistake wasn't mine. She proceeded to pull up all of the receipts in front of me and told me to go to the register for a refund. I did, but then I was pulled back out of line and told they would remake the drink after all. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily awkward and confusing. Then today, my husband stopped in to order a latte and a bagel. He had to repeat his order four times, and the wrong bagel was still served. I genuinely love this place, which is why I'm taking the time to write this. The food is great, the coffee is great, and it's somewhere I legitimately crave whenever I'm in town. It just seems like something has been off over the last month or so. I hope these are just training opportunities that can be fixed and not a sign of degrating quality and lack of care.

Waited even longer for the matcha. Then it was called out, not my name, just the name of the drink. With no other people waiting we figured it was ours. Nope, then the barista loudly explained that I grabbed the wrong drink and that it's coconut milk. I didn't touch the drink other then grabbing it off the counter and said she could take it back. After looking pissed off, she said, "I'm just making sure you know that's coconut milk, is that okay?" I told her it was fine and apologized for grabbing the wrong drink. I decided I needed to take a detour to a coffee shop since we already kinda got lost. Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery, is located in a small and old strip mall in old town Norco. Or at least I think it is. I'm not familiar with the area. I can tell you though, that navigation had us driving through newer developments and then the old part of Norco before we finally arrived. I thought we got even more lost at first. The place was actually pretty packed inside and after having our drinks and pastries, I can totally see why. The first half of the building is the cafe where you'll be greeted with some cute and funny coffee signs. There's two large shelves full of their own coffee beans of different roasts. They have a few small tables to sit and enjoy your orders, but note it is a bit of a tight fit in there. They also have a coffee bar where some people sat in front of the baristas. Past the cafe side is the creamery. I was in a rush and didn't have a chance to take a look. What we ordered; 1) Hot Mocha Rocha with soy milk - 5/5 stars. I forgot to ask for this as half sweet, but either way, it was absolutely delicious. Rich and very flavorful. 2) Iced Mocha Rocha - 5/5 stars. Just as delicious as the hot version. 3) pistachio muffin - 3/5 stars. This muffin had a generous amount of actual pistachio baked into the muffin itself which I liked, however, the muffin had more of an artificial pistachio flavor for me. I still ate it but I wasn't in love with that one. 4) chocolate croissant - 5/5 stars. This was such a hit, we ran out right away. Everyone in our group attacked these so fast. I have to say, I am SAD that I live so far from Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery. They have a lot of pastries, ice cream including deep fried ice cream, and beverages. I absolutely loved this place and look forward to visiting them again. Next time, I for sure will grab a dozen or more to share with the family and bring some home, and we will definitely grab some frozen treats too. Deep Barrel, is a gem. Norco, sure is lucky to have them. They are a must if you are ever in the area.
