I got the smoked brown sugar latte which was tasty. If you taste the foam by itself it's very smokey but with the drink it's well balanced. Another reviewer mentioned "coffee grounds" in their drink - pretty sure these are particles from the syrup/smokey flavor. I had them too and drank them, weren't bitter at all so pretty sure they aren't coffee grounds. I also got a croissant which I would agree with another reviewer was a bit dry, possibly a day old. Somewhat limited menu which I hope they expand in the future. Paid about $13 for coffee and pastry. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card. Unfortunately seating is somewhat limited and not the most comfy. Probably a maximum of 20 people can sit inside at once with one small table outside. There are tons of outlets accessible from every seat and they even have extension cords set up for customers. It's moderate to loud and the music/vibe is more rock and grunge. Very friendly service. Small parking lot but street parking available, no time limits. Currently NO bathroom available. Free WiFi available. You can study/work here briefly given the WiFi and outlets but can't stay longer given lack of bathroom and limited seating They sell merch including beans from Iron & Kin for $22 with a roast date within 1 month. Without a missed beat, Jordan made a suggestion of a substitute so that my friend could enjoy the chips with me. Then when I was asking for dessert later, I was explaining what I wanted and Jordan offered a substitution that wasn't even on my mind making my dessert even better. She was able to problem solve and anticipate our desires with very minimal information. She's very into her customers. My experience at this restaurant and location today made me feel like I was being served by a manager who was thinking on their feet and offering what the customer wanted before it was even spoken. The ambiance of this location was very welcoming and enjoyable. We were not rushed out even though we took a little bit longer to sit there. That also made the ambiance very pleasing. This location is exceptional with this waitress. If you go here ask for Jordan. She is outstanding! The coffee, maybe some coffee nibs or chocolate chips inside. The milkshake was honestly terrible. Also, the menu doesn't include any descriptions of what's in the ice cream flavors, this would be extremely helpful (especially because I don't think most would expect Cookie Monster to taste like banana).
