Chorizo and eggs.

We love coming here. If you ever feel like having a home cooked meal away from home, this is the spot to try. The menudo tastes like your abuela made it. The girls that work here are always nice and friendly.

Menudo

Menudo is good! Building could use some AC but food makes up for it French toast was also really good, fast service and food fresh.

got steak and eggs with French toast Steak was not a ribeye like the menu said and it was cooked well done and no medium like we asked. Other then that the food was okay. Home patotes where delicious I ordered the chilaquiles and asked to modify for a red sauce and add chili which they don't typically do. It was nice they where able to accommodate me. Sauce was spicy and the tortilla chips had a nice crunch! Over easy eggs where delicious along with the hasbrowns

Our friends have recommended El Cerrito Cafe to us for breakfast. They rave about their chilaquiles. The restaurant was filled to the brim. But we were promptly seated. It did however take some time to get menus, then drinks. But no issue as we were not in much of a hurry. Once we got our drinks the wait to order was quite long. The kids ordered chilaquiles and we ordered the steak and eggs special and menudo.. but they ran out of menudo so I ordered the chorizo and eggs. I had an option of corn or flour tortillas, I went with corn. Please be patient, it's relevant. We adults got our food first and again an extreme amount of time went by before my daughter got her chilaquiles.. but it felt like an eternity for my son who received his chilaquiles. The food was hot and tasted good. I opened my tortillas to find flour.. so I asked for my corn. The wait for tortillas was well, you get the theme. Long. I was two bites away from being done by the time they arrived. If you go, go early so you can try the menudo. Prepare to wait. And before the server can leave make sure you have everything you need for your meal. The food was yummy, we were full. But we did not expect to spend over 2 hours at breakfast. We paid and left... only to realize that we were charged for the menudo, and an additional meal. We had to turn around to be refunded over $22. So bit of an inconvenience but handled promptly by the staff. Food was good, staff was pleasant. Waiting for food, drink, service was long.

Chilaquiles verdes

Food is delicious. The service has always been good. Always get the chilaquiles here.

Roaches in the food. Coworker bought a breakfast burrito. We cut it in half so we could share, a few bites in... surprise! They should shut down operations and do a deep cleaning of this place. Food inspectors should pay them a visit.

The BESTA HUEVOS RANCHEROS in socal

Voted BEST huevos rancheros in SoCal by aficionado Scoop Huevos.... This is a must try when in the greater metropolitan Corona region. STRONG BUY recommend

Only got half the sandwich. And this photo doesn't do it justice. Maybe that's a good thing. So they don't get too busy and stay quaint.

Quick and easy. Their food is pretty good and it's a really tiny place. The service is usually all by one waitress.

Did they close?

No. They just close early.

How are the eggs served inside the burritos? I'm seeing what appears to be both over-easy and scrambled options. Is that something we can order to our preference?

We had a ton of questions about what to order and he provided excellent recommendations. He brought us fresh baked rolls right away which were AHMAZING We both ordered the lunch special which came with soup or salad, 2 sliders, and a side. I chose the garden salad, Western tri-tip, the brisket, and Mac N Cheese. The salad was absolutely delicious!! I dug into it before I took a pick so it's blended together but it had the most delicious croutons and fire grilled corn. The ingredients were really fresh and the salad was not over dressed. The sliders were also really good, however, my first bite of the Western one was literally all fat and I had to spit it out. It made the rest of the sandwich unappetizing but I did hunt for any other major fat pockets and didn't see any. Both sliders were really good. The Mac N Cheese was not my favorite, but I saved it for my daughter and she loved it! Tyler really made our experience epic and the food overall was really good.

Not much if the manager or the waitress want to turn the around quick, but we were rush through our dinner. For the food, the ribeye was cooked perfectly. Best steak I had in this area. The brisket on the other was nothing to write home about. It was drier than a school lunch turkey, which tells me this came out of an oven and not a smoker. Overall, not the best experience for an anniversary dinner.

He cracked a few jokes, kept things natural, and you can just tell he genuinely enjoys customer service--he has a real knack for it. I couldn't decide on a beer, so he offered a few samples. I ended up trying Windansea, Tower X West Coast, Hard Cherry, Karlitos Mexican Lager, and the Peanut Butter Cup. All the flavors were great, and even though the exotic ones were delicious for a taste, I stuck with something more traditional and went with the Tower X West Coast. The poke nachos were amazing, and my daughter loved the butter noodles. Kurt checked on us at the perfect times--quick, thoughtful, and full of personality. Honestly, he gets 5 stars from us. Even my daughter commented on how nice he was. Thanks, Kurt!

Our server, Michelle came to our table and introduced herself and gave us the Brunch and regular menus, was very friendly and took our drink orders. My Bloody Mary, and my wife's Mojito were excellent, kudos to the Bartender. We started with the Crispy, salted Truffle fries, cooked perfect....would get those again in a heart beat. The wife ordered the Tagliatelle with braised short ribs on pasta and House salad (get the house dressing, fantastic and different) and I had the 8oz filet Minion rare with the Asparagus. The short ribs fell apart with a fork and were moist and delicious, the pasta was cooked Al dente and the sauce was tasty. My 8oz filet was about 2" thick, cooked perfectly rare, seasoned well and an excellent cut with no gristle. The Asparagus was cooked perfect, still slightly firm to the bite, no stringy pieces and had a balsamic drizzle with cut cherry Tomatoes and small mozzarella balls. The atmosphere was nice, inviting, and comfortable. This was a fantastic dining experience from the wait/bartender staff, to the kitchen. Kudos to the managers of both areas. We will definitely be going back, and highly recommend this spot.

Bryan was our server and he gave us incredible service; he treated me and my girlfriend like we've been friends for years. I felt comfortable immediately and the atmosphere was relaxing and alive. I ordered a beer and a cocktail. The beer was poured perfectly and the glass was clean, the cocktail was refreshing and bright. We started with some apps, the crispy rice tuna and watermelon tataki and both were fantastic. The crispy rice was a perfect little bite and nailed the texture and spice, while the watermelon tataki was so unique, fun and delicous. For mains, I got the NY strip with potatoes au gratin and my partner got the steak salad. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and had a wonderful balance of peppercorn seasoning to match the balance of fat and meat in the cut. My partner loved her salad and felt that the balsamic was balanced with a hint of sweetness so the dressing wasn't too acidic and bitey. The steak for her salad came on the same plate and was a filet which meant she could enjoy the steak and salad together instead of getting a cold meat or warm, wilted salad. Potatoes came as a little side and were layered perfectly and topped with a sauce that reminded me of a thin alfredo sauce, We finished with the mango coconut pana cotta which was bright and refreshing after a rich meal. Not too sweet or heavy but full of flavor. During our meal, the General Manager, Ignacio made sure to stop by our table (along with all the tables) just to check in with us, make sure that service and food was up to snuff. He had a friendly rapport with his staff and shared some anecdotes about himself and Bryan and left us smiling just before our steaks arrived. I definitely wasn't expecting to be impressed but the food, vibes, decor were all excellent. Oh and the bathrooms were CLEAN! Remember folks, if the bathrooms are dirty, the kitchen probably is too! I would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

For the main meal, I had crab stuffed ravioli, and my wife had the steak beef bowl, which was enormous and could easily be shared with two people. The ravioli was excellent. The sauce was excellent. The flavor and the subtle sweetness of the crab shined through. My wife's steak bowl was also amazing. The steak was melt in your mouth tender. A very subtle heat in the seasoning from red chili, I believe. Chefs kiss. Our server was amazing and I feel horrible for not remembering her name, the woman who was working the front area was helpful and knowledgeable and just very welcoming. A special bonus was the old school 50s and 60s music. My mom would have loved it. This place is a definite guarantee for anyone who enjoys great quality food. We will be there again. I would've taken pictures of the food, but I am an absolute glutton and finished it...lol

There really wasn't anything wrong with the pot pie, it just didn't taste as good as I had hoped, so I didn't eat much of it. Our waitress noticed I didn't eat much of the pot pie and asked me if there was anything wrong. I told her that in my opinion, it didn't have much flavor and that I didn't care for it. She was apologetic and said I should of told her sooner and she would of brought something else for me. I said, it really wasn't a big deal, that I'm sure other people enjoy the chicken pot pie. Next thing I know, the manager Clark comes over and tells me he wants to take the pot pie off my bill. I told him that it wasn't necessary, that I did eat some of it and I should pay for it. He insisted to take the pot pie off my bill. Said he wanted his customers to be happy. He then asked if my friend and I wanted to share a dessert and showed us the options. We chose the S'mores brownie. We didn't want a full size, so he offered a smaller option. The dessert came and it was very large to be a small serving. And let me tell you, it was absolutely beyond delicious! My friend and I were so impressed with the generosity of Clark the manager and how he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. That is what I call great customer service and a manager that really cares about making sure his customers are happy when they leave. The bread itself had a slight cinamom sweetness already, adding the butter spread makes it even more addicting. Worth the calories, asked for more during the meal and packed some home as well. I will 100% come back for just the bread at least. For entree got the fried catfish for $21 and it came with 4 pieces with 2 sides (picked house salad with made in house honey lime dressing and baked sweet potato).
