The food is pretty solid and the staff was friendly. Thought there are 2 things that prevent me from giving this a 5 star review. The first is the AC was set at 78 and when you sat close to a window it was hot. The second is the banana pie we bought. We took it home expecting a fresh pie but was disappointed to see that it's a packet they use to make the banana filling (like a store bought pudding packet). The reason I could tell is because they didn't fully mix the packet (I'm attaching photo of it from the pie we took home) I would likely eat here again (not when it's hot out though) and would skip the pie because it's the same as what I could buy premade at a grocery store read more

Went for breakfast this last weekend. My son has a severe egg allergy. We asked to substitute the egg in our entree. No substitutions were allowed. No accommodations. Waitress did not even try to ask a manager. So I paid full price to miss an entire protein in my order. We even asked for just fruit or avocado which does not have the same value as eggs. The pie was a huge hit -- it was actually the first dessert to be completely gone. Ok so it's been quite a while that had come back after I had two issues with dinner here at Corky's it was the Pot Roast dinner. This time it's a issue with dessert on Sunday 5/24/26 after Church Me & my Wife went there to have breakfast when we arrived there I looked at the pie display and noticed just how good the strawberry pies looked after we had breakfast we had the young lady box us a pie to take home with us once we arrived at home and decided to have a slice of pie for dessert i bit in to my slice I had to spit it out that slice of strawberry pie was so tart that I couldn't even swallow what I had in my mouth, I tried a few strawberries from the top of the pie and all of the strawberries were just as bad. We had to throw the whole pie away. What a shame they made those pies look so good and were so terrible. Now I think we're done with Corky's that was $22.00 down the drain !!! read more

Finally made it into to our local Corky's! I ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich with hash browns and their fresh orange juice. Portions were large! I took my left overs home. Our waitress was very kind and attentive, even with a full house. I had no idea they also have cookies and pies available! Definitely will make it back in soon. read more

My dad told me about Corky's he stops there when he plays golf in the area. So we decided to give it a try. It was a Wednesday morning so there was no wait and we were sat immediately. I ordered an iced tea and it was really good! When I asked for a second one as we were finishing the server brought it in a to go cup. Good lookin' out. My friend ordered a scramble and it was so big she could only eat half. I had the avocado toast with the pesto on the side- it was so good! Corky's is a classic diner and holds true to classic diner food. The overall vibe is very much like going to grandmas with the decor and the variety of mugs you get served your coffee in. The service was fantastic with the host checking in often with us and they also have a few others come around to make sure your coffee is filled. They were also great with any suggestions on the menu. The food was pretty good, I got the hobo skillet and it was fairly good, it could have used more seasoning but once I put some hot sauce on it and it was perfect, my partner got some Pancakes and eggs and she enjoyed it. We shared the biscuits and gravy and they were also pretty good. If you're in the mood for some solid classic diner food and breakfast then this is a the perfect stop. I started coming here during the pandemic. I would bring my mom. All the staff are kind. I order the senior 2 egg breakfast, with bacon, hash browns and sourdough toast. Friday, 12-20-2024: We stopped here on our way home to Temecula from Solvang. We can always bet on great service and tasty comfort food at this location. There was no wait and we were seated in a comfortable booth. Our server came out and introduced herself and I apologize I forgot her name but she had provided consistently good customer service when we were here previously. She was very cordial and industrious. We both ordered off their senior menu. I'm had the fish & chips and hubby had the BLT. We both enjoyed our meals, which was prepared quickly. I decided to try this location out after reading, great reviews, and since I was in the area for the day, me and my wife came in here for some breakfast. I ordered a skillet and my wife had. We are going to see white Christmas, my wife and I in corona so we thought we would have dinner at Corky's kitchen. They weren't very busy. It was about 6 PM seated right away. It's a very spacious restaurant order our drinks and then ordered our food. We ended up having a 1/3 pound hamburger senior burger. They called it. It's a very nice place. I've eaten at the one in Eastville that one is also very good their bakery items do look a little dried out like they've been there a while. For many years while living here in the hills of Temescal Valley and the Corona proper area of this side of the Inland Empire, Hunny's Cafe & Bakery was our GOTO spot for breakfast. Since they closed earlier this 2023 year, our options became more limiting. However, one day, a good neighbor of ours invited us to this establishment, Corky's Kitchen & Bakery for breakfast one morning and the rest was history. We have been repeated customer over and over agin at least for the past month. Tucked in the back lot of the Village at Eagle Glen Shopping Center next to Stater Bros., Corky's has been here for many years. How we never knew about this cafe was out of mind out sight for me. Plenty of parking all around except during morning rush hours on Fri-Sun where the parking lot in front of Corky's get really congested; but there's plenty in the other adjacent lots near Stater Bros., Jack N' Box and others. Park far and go for a nice walk to and from Corky's is not such a bad idea anyways. Once inside, one of the many waitresses will seat you according or ask you to wait a few depending on seats/booths/tables availability. For the past 7th visits, we have always got seated immediately. The flow of customers are endless here as they are pretty busy. After placing orders, the food would come out momentarily; possibly between 10-15mins time. One time during a previous visit, it was very very packed of morning rush hour customers and we still got our orders to the table within 10 mins. I'm not timing by choice but just an observation over time. There are friendly servers and the waitress are all living to make sure you're being served coffee or too off your water frequently. I've had the French Toast here, the Breakfast Burrito here, the Eggs Benedict's, among other things like eggs and bacon and sausages. I'm recommending for those traveling through the I15 and or surrounding cities to stop by for breakfast lunch or dinner. What a great eatery here!! read more

My wife and I stopped for breakfast on our way home from Pechanga Resort. I ordered the barnyard breakfast . Hot cakes were very fluffy and the eggs were scrambled perfectly. The hash brown were crisp as I requested. I chose 1 bacon and 1 sausage to try each. Next time I would prefer all bacon. The sausage was OK, but lacked the seasoning that I prefer, a matter of personal preference. My wife ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. She said is was delicious. I hv visited this Corkys many times over the yrs as its a convenient spot to meet friends from Riverside. About two months ago I went & ordered breakfast- pancakes, scrambled eggs sausage & bacon- not the best, but I was hungry. Today we went there again, & because I'm a slow learner, I ordered the same thing. The food was not hot when it arrived & it went down hill. The eggs were mushy, watery, not much taste to the pancakes (they had definitely been under a heat lamp) bacon & sausage had been cooked to death. First bite of the hash browns & I remembered the previous time! They had a metallic taste, two bites, no more. As I walked to my car I saw the Jack in the Box & regretted not going there.. might go back with friends but never for breakfast, learned my lesson! read more

CARBS ARE ALWAYS THE ANSWER, TO ANY FREAKY LIFE QUESTIONS! HENCE, BEING A BIG FAN OF CORKYS! My sister Gena and I (we resemble the Simpson's Aunties Selma & Patty. See photo), had just spent the afternoon visiting our mom and adopted sister Pam (she's not legally adopted, she's just been our friend forever and like another daughter to our mom) in SD(2 1/2 hour drive! In the rain! Through the SD North East county mountains! Yes, we're really good daughters!). Then in the late afternoon/early evening we left to head back home and ended up (we don't know how it happened) at a casino! It turned into a roller coaster of emotions (like my past relationships and how I felt when we're obligated to visit our father) at the casino! After losing...we parted ways with Pam and we headed back home. We decided we needed comfort food, half way home, so I looked up the closest Corkys! I always find this place to be packed with the aromas of Southern Granny's kitchen! Their foods so good it could bring tears to a glass eye! We ordered a "Booty Huge" Brownie Sundae (seriously, that's what it should be called! It's HUGE! And it'll make yo booty bigger than the lies our dead beat father told us!) We loved it! It's just what we needed to cheer us up! Large delectable slab of chocolate brownie piled high with vanilla ice cream, slathered with hot fudge sauce then sprayed with a mountain of whipped cream!!! The brownie sundae was so big we both couldn't finish it and were big gals! Our server was lovely! We showed up at about 8:45pm, Saturday night (3/23/24) so there was only one server, one hostess, one cook and one bus person. They were all busting their hump cleaning up and getting the place ready for the morning shift, while still tending to the customers with great service! Who ever the hired these folks did a great job! You're lucky to have them!!! I wish I could remember our servers name!!! Atmosphere isn't like the Corkys I usually visit, I can't pinpoint exactly what was off, but i don't the comfy feeling I usually get at a Corkys kitchen. But it was clean!
