I'm not sure why, but I expected something different. The bakery is easy to miss. I didn't see a sign posted on the outside of the bakery. The store is located on the far left of the plaza. The interior is clean and minimal. When I came in the afternoon, there were no other customers. The bread selection seemed limited. I decided to pick up some señorita bread with cream cheese filling and Ube filling. The bread is soft and the filling is sweet. Starbread Bakery is very much a hit or miss experience for me. The Starbread Senorita Bread itself is the highlight -- buttery, sweet, soft, and genuinely enjoyable. This is what they're known for, and it shows. Fresh and satisfying, definitely worth trying at least once. Unfortunately, the Nutella-filled bread was a letdown. The bread was dry and a bit hard, and the Nutella filling was very skimpy. When you order something with Nutella, you expect more than just a hint of it -- this one didn't deliver. On top of that, there's very little variety overall. The menu is extremely limited, so if you don't love Starbread Senorita Bread, there isn't much else worth exploring. The shop is small and clean, and the lady working there was friendly. But the place was awkwardly silent -- no music, no ambiance, just uncomfortable quiet while you wait. Overall, I'd come back only for the starbread, but I'd skip the filled breads next time. Good potential, just not consistent across the menu. read more

Needed 2 dozen desserts for my potluck this morning; I found this place and gave them a call! They quickly took my order, letting them know I would be there in an hour. My dad went to pick up 2 dozen masaladas and a dozen guava starbreads -- which they gave for a very reasonable price. My office is 15 mins away, by the time he got to my office, they were still very warm!! My coworkers and I tried the starbread and everyone loved them!! They're just sweet enough, not too sweet, and the bread is super soft! The masaladas are amazing too! If you are looking for nice quality pastries, especially on a time crunch, I highly recommend! They open at 7AM which is much earlier than most bakeries in the area (and super convenient), I will definitely order from them again!! read more

First time hearing about this place from a Filipina friend who brought a box of señorita bread to our soccer game around the corner. So GOOD! Super soft, fall apart, sweet bread. First time ever hearing about it or eating it so we decided to get our own box on the way out. I would have gave 5 stars, but at 4:30 PM they were completely out of bread and only had one ube malasada that looked like it was sitting all day and strawberry malasadas, so that was extremely disappointing since we don't live near the area. I'm glad we got to try it, now I'll just have to learn to bake my own señorita bread. Such a bummer that they are still technically open for over 2 more hours with hardly anything left. read more

My husband and kids love this place! We didn't know there was a location closed by and always went to the OC location for them. The señorita bread is always fresh & warm when they give it to you. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the aroma of the fresh bread baking. The service is good & they're always so friendly. There are different flavor bread that you can also get and donuts too! Saw this on the clock app. Decided to eat my feelings today so I got up early for fresh pastry. The customer service was excellent. The lovely lady that assisted my didn't bat an eye when I asked for a sample. She gave it to me piping hot and then introduced me to the filled donuts. My daughter adored them. The store front staff is minimal and theyre usually fast to get your order out asap. I happen to be in the shopping center when I noticed the bakery. It was morning and I really wanted a pick me up. I was also curious. I entered the bakery and took a look around. There was a customer making a large order, who was being attended. The bakery was holiday decorated and there were signs of everything they offered. I saw displays of bread, donuts, an ube filled pastry, and others. I decided to get the ube filled pastry. It was $2. I paid in cash, card transactions are 50 cents. I asked the employee if they had iced coffee and she said all drinks were in the fridge. The ube was delicious, covered in powdered sugar. I enjoyed it! Very unique. read more

Love love love this bakery ! I love that the senorita bread is always warm, the bread is so light and fluffy, with warm butter and sugar on the bottom of the bread. I could eat 4 in one sitting because it is so addicting and delicious. The ube bread is delicious with the perfect amount of filling to bread ratio and their pandesal is so soft and airy. This Starbread location is in a strip mall at the corner. It is located across Tyler Galleria. There was plenty of parking. This location is pick up only. There is no indoor seating. I came 2 hours before closing. Their goods had been sitting out a while. It was very difficult to understand the man at the counter. Service was OK. I got the viral Seniorita bread. I loved that they warm it up. It was soft and sweet in the middle. 5/5 I also got the mango starbread. I really liked that as well. It was not warmed but still very good. Little bakery that started in norcal. I've been to 3 different locations (las vegas/ anaheim/ here) and I think this one is the smallest. It's basically a bakery that sells a number of bread. They're pretty much known for their senorita bread.... ( which is like Spanish bread in the Philippines) . Service was prompt and it seems straightforward. Just order at the counter and they'll prep the food. It's basically just a small counter with a back room for where they bake. No room for dine-in. Im happy to say that quality and taste wise, it's pretty much the same as the other branches. Unfortunately, the location is a bit off as there are a lot of unsheltered people nearby. Popped in about 45 minutes before closing time for my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last. I looked around at the displays and an employee greeted me at the counter. I asked what he recommended since it was my first time and he said the senorita bread. I asked what that was and he gave me a free sample fresh out of the oven. It was heaven in a napkin. I ordered a box of ten and also purchased a package of mango and dulce de leche for the family. We are all now Starbread Bakery fans! So soft, delicious and not too sweet. The senorita bread ( more like a pastry than bread) is moist and tasty, but not oversweet. Just writing the review mashes me want to have more. The service was friendly. Yum ! The bakery was small and nicely put together. There's a select variety of items like chicken asado in pastry, Filipino biscotti, and more. I've had senorita bread from Starbread Bakery back in Northern California so I was really surprised to see that they had a location in Riverside! The prices are incredibly reasonable. I got a box of 25 for a party and everyone loved the bread. I stopped by on a weekday afternoon and it was super quiet. After I ordered, I was told it would be a 2 minute wait so I knew I was getting a very fresh batch. The moment I got back to my car I opened one of the boxes and had one. Went to a pool party/potluck,and I'd forgotten til the last minute about the potluck part. I moved here recently, so I just used google maps to see what places were around me, and fortunately enough for me, I was near Starbread. I saw that the reviews were solid, so I went in. As I went in, the girl behind me seemed to know what she was doing, so I let her go first. She ordered a box of 35 like it was chicken for the fam. The menu board didn't have flavors and options, just numbers in the order. The other girl recommended them when I asked about them, saying they were sweet, but not too sweet, just right. Reviews had mentioned pretty much the same thing, but see, I'm not a bread fan. Carbs aren't really my thing, bread is just bread to me. Once it was my turn, I grabbed 25 and paid and got in my car. I'd forgotten to eat lunch and it was like 3 p.m. by now, so I had one in the car, and holy hell, it was good. I was so glad I'd found this place, but what's crazy is how there were tons of locals at this party, and no one had heard of them, but they went crazy over them. There was really good grub there too, people had come from LA and brought Porto's there was cheese, bbq, etc.. But I got so many accolades for bringing these, Starbread came in clutch. I can't tell if everyone was happy to see me, or just stoked I brought the carbs, either way, that bread disappeared in nano-minutes! Starbread's staff was professional and friendly.
