I literally just left Starbread Bakery and these piping hot, pillowy soft, buttery goodness called Señorita Bread is as good as I remember them. The last time I had these were in Northern California years ago and I'm so glad they have more locations in Southern California. This shop is located in Riverside on Magnolia Ave near Tyler St, close to the 91 freeway. They've been open for a while and I finally remembered to come out here. Aside from their popular original Señorita Bread, they also sell them in different flavors. In addition, you'll also find rolls of bread, cupcakes, donuts, Malasadas, a couple savory cheese items, and refrigerated drinks. The prices are much more than what I remember them to be but they're still very affordable. The Señorita Bread are such a yummy treat. Today, I ordered two (2) boxes of the 30-piece original Señorita Bread. One box will be gifted and the other is for my home. I couldn't resist and I had to eat one in the parking lot! Sooooo so good! These make such great hostess gifts or just something to have with your coffee. I love the open space here. I did notice some out-of-season Christmas decor and the glass display case holding the packaged breads that needed to be wiped down. The young lady who helped me had a welcoming smile and had a positive attitude. The shop is in a plaza so there are plenty of parking spaces. Their bakery is the first door on the left of the plaza. I was very excited to hear we have a Starbread in the IE. I heard about this place when they opened a location in Chula Vista, but couldn't make the drive down there. My review is pretty limited though the main thing you get here is a mini roll called Senorita bread. I opted for Senorita bread stuffed with pandan coconut which was good. They have a number of other flavors, when I came towards end of day they only had two. The other reason why I came here is for the Malsadas. When I came they were currently not available, which is my reason for 4 star rating. Starbread would be one of only two places in the IE to get Malsadas. The other would be Dot & Dough in Eastvale. For now I can only imagine they would be good. I do like the bakery has really reasonable prices which encourages you to buy a box full of goodies. I'm sure I'll be back when the Malsadas are back. read more

This is a cute little shop located by Tyler mall. The service is great and everyone here has been super friendly. My family LOVES the bread here. The star bread is VERY sweet. For me, it's not my personal favorite just because how sweet it is, but I think that's the point. Haha. Other than that, everything else about it in terms of dough and texture is great. Great Spanish Bread but Filipino style. You know its so good the bread can last 3 to 4 days and still taste fresh as long you reheat by toaster. (Please never microwave) The only negative is that the area can be sketchy especially at night. Some shady people hang around so do take precaution, its Riverside after all. read more

Had some Vietnamese food nearby and saw they had a starbread bakery just a few blocks away so had to stop by. I've had their baked goods in NorCal and in San Diego and was pleasantly surprised to find one up this way. I had the famous senorita bread(butterbread)as well as their malasadas and their filled pastries and they were all pretty awesome. They said they been open for a year now and I'm just finding out about it?? Now there is no way we can go to the Tyler galleria without stopping by for some senorita bread. You should too. read more

A great addition to the Riverside area! Starbread Bakery is known for their senorita bread, but they offer other baked goods like malasadas and cupcakes. The senorita bread is the star of the show! They are served fresh and warm out the oven. They are fluffy, glazed with sugar, and SO addicting! Right now, the malasadas come in flavors like bavarian cream, chocolate, buko pandan, and ube + coconut. My favorite flavor was the buko pandan! 1st time trying out this place after many friends suggested it. It was like hooked on the first bite. That señorita bread is pure sins, so soft, sweet but buttery. Came out warm in the box. Didn't even reach home, had to have a bite while driving, and it was so dangerously delicious. Maybe I came a little early, the guy helping me was courteous but lack of smile/friendliness. It was cool, maybe he's also the baker, so it's all good because he bakes good LOL The bakery is located across the street from the Tyler Mall, on Magnolia side not the Tyler St side. Honestly, this place has such amazing bread. The senorita bread is where it's at!!! It's served hot and the there is this delicious butter sugary mixture that compliments the bread so well. I love the texture of it. I also got the cream cheese bread which is okay, but the senorita bread is so irresistible!!! I have been to this place twice already and will definitely be going more in the future. The interior was nice and spacious and I also liked the service. They were nice both times that I had went! Unique bakery here in riverside They sell the senorita bread and it comes out hot! I do have to say I ordered and got half that were barely cooked all the way and the other half had a major brown crust to them. Have never heard of señorita bread until Starbread Bakery... but now I can never go back! It's like a warm bite of a buttery cream filled donut. There's no other way to describe it-- You just gotta go and try it. The amount of sugar, salt, and other ingredients really tie it together and make it a perfect bite though. The space itself is somewhat small. No dine in spots, but the place seems like a grab-n-go spot anyways. One thing to keep in mind is that you might want to come a few minutes ahead of time if you're doing a call in order. Since I ordered through the phone and set a pick up order for 10:30, I expected it to be ready when I had arrived there at 10:50. Instead, I had to wait over 10 minutes to have it finished. Obviously, 10 minutes is not a long wait and the bread was well worth the wait, but I wanted to share this because I had expected it to be ready in boxes for me, but when I arrived is when they started the order. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will certainly be back soon! :) read more

Oooommmmggggg I saw a video of seniorita bread a while back and have been drooling about it ever since. I literally have never tried it. After a trip to urgent care and while waiting for my meds, I had the bright idea of wanting to go get this. The sweet lady at the front asked me if I wanted a box of 15 instead of a bag of 10 and all I said was "yes". The seniorita bread was incredible. It was warm and fluffy and sweet and buttery. I ate like 5 in my car while waiting. The store is small and the parking lot is a lil crowded but regardless I will be coming here again, as I am not obsessed. Great ambiance. I loved it. read more
