Hands down, most down of earth coffee shop I ever been to in Riverside. You can tell the owner is committed not just serving customers but, going out and promoting his business. I also been following them on TikTok and the love for coffee and making people their day. We cannot please everyone but, they make it happen! It definitely makes you wanna go back. Don't get me started on the bagels. The gochujang mayo hits the spot on the breakfast sandwiches. The coffee shop it self is inviting definitely great for hanging out or studying. Came here for the post a review on social and get a free bagel. What a deal!!! This place was packed, line out the door at 8:30. Everyone is very friendly, bagels are on point! This place needs to commit all efforts to bagel making, that is for sure their "jam". No one makes a better bagel. Coffee can be hit or miss and the matches are very good but again the bagel is the star. Side note the regular size banana latte was just shy of $8 with tax. I believe it is 16oz? The service was very good and was actual genuine people instead of people you can see are just working like machines. They seem calm and collected, with making sure there is precision in their work. I hope that makes sense. It feels very much like a space where everything is calm and slows down while you enjoy your coffee. It is very clean too, I love a place where people take care of the space they work in. The counters behind the bar look super clean. The drinks are very different, I can't say you find anything quite like them at your local Starbucks. The bagels are quite delicious and definitely beat something you get in bulk at your local supermarket. I had been wanting to try this coffee shop out for a while & finally got around to it today with my sister-in-law. We both opted for matcha, but I got a seasonal flavor and it was PERFECT. Not too sweet not too earthy and just the right color. My sister-in-law got a regular matcha and raved about how perfectly balanced the sweetness was. We were equally impressed with their bagels! I got the pizza bagel 5/5 & she got the blueberry bagel another 5/5! Can't wait to be back and try more things on their menu! My friends know I am sucker for all things tiramisu so when they announced their summer flavors having a tiramisu cold foam, I got multiple messages to go get it. So I did! For my favorites: I've never had a matcha freeze so that was unique! It was sweet & flavorful, without being overly sweet. The watermelon juice with matcha cold foam was so refreshing and had a light earthy taste. The bagel was served warm and nicely toasted. They were also generous with the blueberry cream cheese, which I appreciated. As for the cafe itself, the restroom trash was overflowing, but the restroom was otherwise clean. A couple of the tables needed to be wiped down; however, the cafe was busy when we visited and people had just gotten up from those tables, so it was understandable. :) Since this was my first Yelp Elite experience, I wasn't really sure what to fully expect. The cashier was friendly and greeted us as soon as we checked in, but he only mentioned the blueberry and sesame bagels and that they were out of regular cream cheese. Later, I seen they had a pizza bagel and I would have loved the option to try that instead. It would have been nice if all of the available choices had been mentioned during check in. One of the best matcha places I've been to. The bagels were also really good. I arrived during opening at 7am and the two ladies were very friendly. I ordered the flight of matchas and blueberry bagel with cream cheese. My favorite was the mango match and tiramisu cold foam was my second favorite. The ambiance is very aesthetic and clean. I decided to stop in while the elite event was going on, even though I wasn't on the list, and I'm glad I did. I tried their "matcha on tap" with tiramisu cold foam, and it was absolutely delicious. The fact that they offer an "on tap" matcha at a discount is really nice and unique. Their simple menu is also refreshing--keeping things straightforward is a breath of fresh air. When we ordered, the gentleman who took our order was named Tanner. He was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu and options. After picking up our drinks, we decided to sit and enjoy our matchas. There are multiple seating areas, including a sofa, a park bench, and tables with chairs, so you can come in and use your computer or socialize with friends and family. I saw a friend post on Insta about this place, and I can't believe I slept on it for so long. This place was amazing! The staff was so nice, and the atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and friendly. I loved the focal art piece on the wall with the shop's catchphrase, "For Those I Love." That's exactly the feeling you get when you walk in--a warm hug from someone you love. There's plenty of seating to hang out for a while and a simple yet classic menu. They stick to the classics, but the vanilla latte with house-made syrup was anything but basic. It was the perfect combo of sweet, creamy, and great-tasting espresso. So good! I also bought some merch and got a free drink with it, so I went with the raspberry matcha. I'm no matcha connoisseur, but it was freaking delicious. The raspberry smash at the bottom with the perfectly creamy matcha on top was such a great combination. I don't like matcha when it's too earthy or bitter--I definitely prefer my drinks sweet and super creamy, for reference. Side note: the damn bagel sandwich! I'd go back just for that. Pretty cool little spot I decided to try the peach espresso tonic and I got two bagels since they make them in-house. I tried the plain bagel and the pizza bagel. Both were pretty decent and you like the flavor of the pizza bagel. The atmosphere is pretty cool when you walk in there's a nice touch with a TV from like late 80s early 90s is broadcasting the view of everyone inside everybody was pretty friendly all in all. Woo hoo, a new coffee shop in the neighborhood. Came highly recommended so I had to try it out. I ordered a cold foam pistachio latte; fabulous delicious and affordable. Wonderful, helpful customer service and friendly which makes q huge difference these days. Brightly decorated and plenty of seating, clean and a cool vibe setting. I will be back to try their bagels! Update: Tried the breakfast bagels, yummmm! The sauces that came with them were both so delicious with a hint of fire! Mikey G's was right next door to where we were at. We were able to park our car right in front do the thrift store and walk over. You can also park across the street in front of the goodwill. Right when we stepped out, we were very excited about the art on the sides of the building. They had photos of mice that were cleaning! It was very silly but cute. Once we stepped inside, we didn't immediately order. There was an old television with a webcam attached to it, to which we took a photo with. The coffee barista was very sweet and patient with us as we admired the decor and took our time looking at the menu. I decide to get their latte with vanilla bean syrup, while my fiancé got their tonic with mint. The drinks came out fairly quickly. We noticed several tables to study at with an interesting transition towards the back of the store. There were numerous people studying/doing work when we got our coffee. The coffee is strong and decent. I would say there's nothing unique about their menu; you've got the bare necessities. I tried the matcha with whole milk unsweetened to really see how the matcha tasted at baseline. i would say it's comparable to much of the matcha I've tried around the IE. i imagine with some syrup, you could have a fun drink but for any matcha lovers out there, I'd say this is average or a little below for the IE area. i didn't try their coffee, which is what they're more known for. overall the staff were friendly and efficient. they had bathrooms available for customers. the shop itself is industrial style and can seat around 15-20 people. overall nice place, but I'd like to see better matcha. i hope to try the coffee next time I go! read more

Solid new coffee spot in the Riverside plaza area. We stopped by for a quick cappuccino after breakfast. Everyone inside was pretty friendly and our drink was out in just a few minutes. Another great spot for matcha! I got to try their matcha and coffee flight and bagels when yelp had an elite event and so happy I got to attend because their matcha is so good! The mango matcha is good, but I've never had watermelon with matcha and it goes amazing together! They sell it as watermelon juice with a matcha cold foam. It's so refreshing and perfectly sweet. I went by a couple weeks ago to get it again and it's so good! I also love that they make and sell freshly baked bagels. I had their everything bagel and it's a little on the saltier side, but I still loved it. I'm going to have to come back and try one of their bagel sandwiches. There's street parking, but also a big parking lot across the street. Happy to have another great coffee shop here in Riverside. read more

When I entered, I was instantly greeted by the girls working the counter. They answered my questions and even gave suggestions. I opted for a sausage, egg, and cheese on a jalapeño bagel and a hot vanilla latte. The bagel was dense, chewy, and had a nice exterior crisp. The egg was fluffy and cooked perfect and the sausage had a nice flavor. My only critique on the bagel is I prefer my toasted quite a bit more. But that's a preference. They serve it slightly toasted and warm. I didn't know and they don't ask, so now I know what to request. The ambiance is bright and cute. It gives me college vibes. I love all the black and yellow decor. It's very well branded. I enjoyed the music playing in the back ground. If in the area, you need to give them a try. Their menu is simple and done well. Transported back in time with this retro-feel coffee shop! Stopped by just before closing (sorry!) but the two girls working behind the counter didn't mind and we're so sweet. I ordered the Tiramisu Cold Foam on top of their Lightning Milk. The cold foam has the most perfect texture with a sprinkle of cocoa powder that balances out the sweetness. The Lightning Milk (which is cold brew, vanilla syrup, and oat milk) is honestly one of the best cold brews I've had with such a smooth coffee flavor and just the right touch of vanilla sweetness. Finally was able to try Mikey G's today at their second location! There is parking across the street to make it easy to walk over. I ordered an iced vanilla bean matcha with 1/2 sweetener and oatmilk. The matcha was pretty good and great price. It was a little more on the milky side but still good! On our way we found this place rate 4.6 and we definitely had to try it they have interesting new flavours like tiramisu, pistachio, mango and peach (they also have latte if you are not a matcha person) you can customise your drink what is awesome, my pistachio matcha didn't come with a foam and I asked them for it and they gave it to me for free, their staff is very kind, very helpful and very happy, when we got here they were saying hiii welcome with a big smile. I got a flight that features the mango matcha freeze, fresh watermelon juice with matcha cold foam, tiramisu cold foam and pistachio latte. I thought the title "matcha girl summer" was a very cute concept. I think the interior could benefit with a bit more flair- especially the ubiquitous Instagrammable little photo ops with fake flowers and neon art. Ended up having to park across the street at Goodwill because it was busy with the line out the door. Love the vibe and energy of the place. Yellow hues everywhere and spacious. Coffee? Dark roast, less sweet, pretty good. But the Hojicha is bangin'! They used a banana bread syrup and it was an amazing experience. While not on the standard menu, I asked for it and wasn't disappointed. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere retro and chill. Only marked down because we had ro do several u-turns just to figure out if they were open or not. This cafe is their main flagship location, with their other location being at Harvest church. This cafe is a bit hidden, but it is a 5 minute drive down the street from RCC and across from it is the Goodwill where there is a parking lot. This would be the parking lot you use for the cafe. The building is a bright yellow with black and white mural. The mural on the side is of a squirrel. There are signs outside of their seasonal drinks, pointing to the cafe. The main door is at the front with a side entrance being the exit. Walking in, you see the front counter with the coffee bar and their menu. I noticed that they switch out their drinks often (every 2 months) with it being seasonal. There is a pastry shelf of their bagels (pizza, jalapeño, sesame, plain). There are also sandwiches made upon order. The barista was friendly and welcoming. I decided on the mango matcha with a jalapeño bagel. I asked if the bagel came whole or sliced and the barista said they could slice it for me. Total came out to $11 with some change. In the meantime while waiting, I took a look around. The cafe seems to have an industrial, sort of futuristic design to it, with its concrete/brick walls, painted black and white lines, and metal furniture. There is a tv that acts as a camera, which I thought was pretty cool. There is another mural on the wall with a yellow couch in it. Towards the back, there is a huge space with tables and chairs for studying, the bagel making station, and merch on a rack. There were a couple people inside enjoying their drinks and working. My matcha did not take long at all. When I tasted it, I was surprised. The mango tasted like a puree jelly which I quite liked. Mixed with the matcha, it was so good! Very unique! My bagel was handed to me at the table and tasted warm, crisp, and spicy because of the jalapeño. It hit the spot. So glad I was finally able to go to this location. read more

Really cute new coffee spot next to Goodwill and Baker's Dozen. Coffee and thrifting?? Don't tempt me with a good time. I was excited to try their cereal drinks, but unfortunately, those are gone as they change their drinks bi-monthly. So I ended up getting their Matcha on tap which is vanilla bean matcha and oat milk. I got the large with the vanilla cold foam and it was $9 and some change. It was really good but a bit on the sweet side so keep that in mind. The inside is really cool and stylish with pops of bright yellow, and they have the cutest cups. Gotta come back soon! read more
