This establishment has been on my radar for years, way before social media had hyped it up, but never had the chance to make my way over there until yesterday. In practicing self-control, I did a 4 pack cupcake at $21. I picked dulce de leche tres leches, carrot cake, chocolate salted caramel, cookie butter tres leches. They all tasted the way they were described to be. Dulce de leche tres leches was my favorite. Marshmallow fluff in the frosting for the carrot cake was surprisingly addiciting to me. I wanted more of it. Overall, the cakes were moist, and the frosting fluffy, airy and not too sweet (which is a compliment). I love that there's a decent assortment of flavors to choose from. I'll definitely be back again to try more flavors. read more

We drove an hour and a half out to try these cupcakes and I was truly saddened and disappointed with the outcome. The cupcakes are so beautiful, however quality didn't reflect the same thing and I'm so sad to say that. The cupcakes were dry, especially the tres leches cupcakes. We were expecting it to be more moist but it wasn't. All the cupcakes have the same whipped buttercream like frosting, which is unfortunate because that kind of frosting doesn't go with all flavor cakes. The frosting is definitely heavy handed and some had to be tossed because it was just too much. Give them a try for yourself, everyone has different taste. Spent 30 dollars for the 6 cupcakes which is about 5 dollar a cupcake which isn't insane, cupcake shops run an average at that price. Service was quick and fast and overall nice. The cupcakes were not too dry nor were they too sweet. I did get some of the specialty flavors like the ube tres leches but it didn't feel much like a tres leches it wasn't really soaked in any milk. I have been meaning to stop by Isabellas cupcakes and was never able to until today. I was greeted when I entered the places clean and very cute. There is a side of cupcakes and on the other side I believe treats. I picked two cupcakes to go. They placed them in a cute pink box to go . I've gradually nibbled my way around the cupcake menu here since the first visit, and the cupcake in a cup option is a big favorite presently. This is a nice operation and their skills are always on display, and include weekly and monthly, plus seasonal options. The lemon cupcake got the ball rolling, but my favorite is the velvet because they don't use cream cheese and that's why I enjoyed it so much. The cupcake in a cup is VERY messy. So much so that after I stood up outside my vehicle, I left a pile of red crumbs on the ground. I'm wondering if a shorter, wider cup would be a better choice for this one? I've tried this place a few times in the past. Their cupcakes can be a hit or miss. The ones I've tried before were quite dry like it's been sitting there. I really wanted to like it though. So I finally came back to try it again after a couple of years or so. We picked three different flavors: carrot cake, cookies n' cream, and pumpkin. The best of the three was the cookies n' cream. It was a moist cake with fudge filling. The carrot cake was so dry but I love how they included a lot of walnuts. The frosting, however, was too buttery as if you're eating butter, if that makes sense. The pumpkin was okay. I give this place a 6/10. read more

Hands down the best cupcakes I have ever had! The special of the weekend was Spumoni: a vanilla cupcake with chocolate filling, topped with pistachio icing, chocolate curls, and a maraschino cherry. This was the best cupcake I have ever tasted, I couldn't believe it! I also got the Chocolate Salted Caramel cupcake to try, and thought it couldn't top the Spumoni, but I was wrong. Another 10/10 cupcake, even after waiting a day to eat it! The icing is the real standout at Isabella's. So fluffy and light, while also having great flavor. The cupcakes are dry and stale like others have mentioned.You really are rolling the dice on quality. But some can be moist. We got a 6 pack cuz the flavors sounded so delicious. Most dissapointing was the tres leches dulce. It was drier than the dirt at Coachella. Spumoni was fantastic though, which is why its hard to dislike the place. I could tell from biting down on the prezel on the salted caramel that it was stale and the cake was once again dry. So I think freshness is the issue. They also sold cake parfaits which is also suspicous for recycling product. My kid said the vanilla sprinkles cupcake was too sweet. IYKYK. I sent all the requested information back the same day. After that, I never heard back. No follow-up, no confirmation, and no communication at all. Visited Isabella's because my father n law lives in Victoria and I saw so many Instagram post on this place. I can appreciate a small business that works hard. The German chocolate was not my favorite but my kids loved their cupcakes. Prices are kinda high for one cupcake. Just wished the German chocolate didn't have like that whipped buttercream frosting definitely a turn off..... I think the best German chocolate cake has to Sweet Red Peach in Inglewood. I had been wanting to try this place out for a while and today i had time and was in the area. I got a carrot cake and strawberry tres leches one. The carrot cake was for my husband and the strawberry one for me. Besides the gigantic amount of icing, the cake itself was very dry on both. The tres leches did not even seem like it was tres leches with how dry it was and the icing on both was just a weird hard texture. I couldn't even eat mine. Took one bite to give it a real try and had to toss. I had to warm up my husbands and remove all the icing so it could be eatable given they were tough.
