I was able to select a time slot and my cake was ready for pickup the next day. The employee was friendly and quick to bring out my cake. The inside is fairly small and cozy shop. they also sell some birthday/celebration related items inside the store . We went with their classic vanilla cake this time and it was really good. Their cake was moist and fluffy and the frosting was sweet and creamy. The cakes are yummy, when you can get them. I love the little Bundlets and Bundtinis, but very often when I get to this location, they are out of most flavors. It's also very difficult to get any special featured flavors as they are always sold out. Staff will just tell you to "check back next week" but have no real idea when they will have more of the special flavors. Trying to order online doesn't help because you still can't get the cakes you want by the time you need them. I thought they were baking in-house, so I'm not sure why they are always out of flavors. I guess, as a franchise, they aren't getting an adequate supply of ingredients from the company. Otherwise, the store is very cute and clean. Today I placed a mobile order for two bundtlets because there was a promo for bogo free. I picked my order up the young man who helped was polite. He went to the back to bag my order which was chocolate bundt and a carrot cake bundt. There was a cart of cakes and he grabbed one to complete my order. I came in with a friend, we got rung up separately by two different employees. I was rang up by Skye P and she asked me if i had a phone number rewards with them, I said no. She proceeded to tell me my total and I proceeded to get my card out. As I was doing so I had asked her what the significance of having a phone number with them was and she told me. As she finished telling me, my receipt printed and I joined my friend across the way at the other register. This was my first time at this location. I ordered online and set a pickup time for 5:30pm so I could quickly pick up my husband's bday cupcakes after work. When I walked into the shop, there was a HUGE line of maybe 20+ people. The shop is super small so the line wS taking up the whole space. I wasn't sure if I needed to wait in line as this was my first time ordering ahead. I tried to squeeze through to ask one of the workers if I needed to wait in line to pick up an order. She said yes and looked away. I seriously even considered leaving the order at this point. Luckily, I proceeded to ask "even if I set a pick up time for 5:30pm?" Thank you "Nothing Bundt Cakes" for always coming through when I need something ordered. Whether I need a cake, bundlets, or a box of bundtinis, it's always nice touch/gift to any event we go to. I always use my punch card whenever I go. I like trying the samples they have, but of course things have since changed due to the pandemic. Service is great and efficient. If you're going to get something, I'd order beforehand just so it's a breeze. Line length depends on the day and hour! The only thing I wish is they'd be open a bit later. It's tough to get to the location on time when I'm getting off from work and fighting the clock. I try to be considerate of a business' time and never want to push it to almost closing, but I have no choice when I'm leaving from work. Notes: If you're from Riverside, consider purchasing a "Shop Riverside" card! The current deal they have is $5.00 OFF a decorated cake (2022). Great cakes awful system for taking care of customers. There is no line or number system in place; people just got to pay attention and hopefully no one cuts them out. The girl at the register Athy I couldn't see her badge well so it is most likely spelled wrong; she was at the left register walking in at 4:30 pm. We came right at opening and just ordered while there because the first online order pickup for the day wasn't until 1.5 hrs later. The staff were friendly and helpful with helping us choose our items. We waited about 15-20 minutes for them to make our orders as they just barely opened. We got the BUNDTINI, which only come in a dozen, but are perfect for those wanting to try out the different flavors available. It's also perfect for the pandemic because each person can get their own piece without having to share one large cake. You can put toppers on them for special occasions, like birthday banners or birthday hats, etc. It comes in a specially made box that nestles each individual bundtini so they stay put and don't touch the edges or each other. Its now my favorite way to order here. If you have a favorite flavor and just want it for yourself or to share with maybe one other person, the BUNDLET is a good portion size as well. Or perhaps a personal cake to give someone as a present. These come in towers too that you can stack 2-3 in cellophane if you want to give them as presents. I was told by someone that you can also order these by the dozen and actually save $ that way but I've never tried. They have other larger cakes that can also be tiered etc for special occasions. Overall, these bundt cakes are delicious but my absolute favorite is their RED VELVET one, with the WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY coming a close second. Their SIGNATURE frosting is thick cream cheese, but according to their website, you can order it to be lighter by asking for a DRIZZLE frosting instead. This was my first visit, I spent $36 on 6 cakes! and the cashier never asked me if I wanted a punch card or gave me a coupon. I was told this is something that Is going on from my sis who just left one of your locations which she wasn't asked either someone told her then she knew to ask. The cakes were very soft melts in your mouth type of thing. All but the CARROT CAKE. It wasn't super dry but it wasn't like the others.
