Price-wise, Afters is...okay. It's a little pricey (as another reviewer has pointed out, the toppings aren't very special), but after the donut and ice cream combo I didn't really want any more, so I can't say I wasn't satisfied. Their ice cream is pretty good, though I would preferentially avoid some of the ones with a ton of dye. Not really a problem unique to Afters, since that kind of gimmick is increasingly popular. It's still creamy and rich, anyhow. As for the donut (they call it a bun, but...), ordering it with ice cream makes a huge mess. It's delicious, but seriously, I don't see how anyone eats this cleanly. After a minute the ice cream starts to melt and slides out of the paper. They should really give you a bowl or something to put under it... There's no way this monstrosity is portable. If you see someone walking around with this thing, you should probably just run. read more

Francesca was super helpful and very nice! We had a great experience at the AFTERS here in University Village. The ice cream is top notch and I loooove their limited time matcha berry crunch!!! Super yummy I had to get a pint as well as the jasmine milk tea. Because the shop wasn't busy and just opened Frances's was able to make a special request and create a waffle taco for us. After's ice cream is one of our go to's for ice cream. We usually get their milk and cereal with fruity pebbles on top and it never fails to hit the spot. The ice cream was really good but charging a bleep ton for "Dubai chocolate" pint is ridiculous they don't have it available fresh but the prepackaged pints are $20. A pint for $20! Like why? It doesn't cost more to make It's just the flavor of the season. read more

Place nice and clean. Staff too busy attending to customers. Did not hear any welcome greetings coming in. but I guess in general they don't greet people at all. Loved my Saigon coffee ice cream. I got a small ice cream from Afters to try, but now seeing all these reviews about ice cream in a donut-- I wish I ordered that! Afters is perfect for a late night snack, but it is a little more on the expensive side. The workers are always really friendly & the atmosphere of the store is very cool. This place is always soooo wonderful. Their milky buns are my favorite (it's basically a donut ice cream sandwich) and the people are always so kind and happy to answer any questions we might have. They also let you sample some of the flavors, which is great because they have really unique flavors. I love anything sweet and sugary so the milk and cookies is one of my top ice cream flavors!! I've only been to Afters once so far, but it might be some of the best ice cream I've ever had! - The "On Cloud BT21" ice cream (BT21 collab) was so good, I usually don't care for mixed berry desserts but the berry flavor was really nice and went pretty well with the cake and other toppings! The ice cream was so nice and smooth as well! I'm definitely trying this place again. Service: The worker was kind and helpful when I had questions. Ambiance: Nice store with plenty of seating and clearly labeled items. It's a big bonus that this place is open so late, as it can be hard to find dessert places that don't close early! Afters ice cream is definitely worth the hype! there are so many unique flavors i would definitely recommend the dark matter brownie if you're a chocolate lover. the cereal one is a bit plainer but the texture with the slight taste of corn flakes is just perfection, i could eat pints upon pints. the ube brownie was also really good even though i don't really seek ube. the thai tea is also really good surprisingly!! all these flavors are executed really well i can tell a lot of testing was done as they are all perfectly sweet (dark matter is kind of almost too sweet though) i can say afters is worth the hype! the pricing is a bit unjustifiable at 10 dollars a pint but sometimes it's worth the splurge! read more

Great late night spot to grab a sweet treat. Popped in here after grabbing dinner nearby. Staff were great about offering samples/tastes of new-to-us flavors - the ube brownie was especially good. Ended up sharing a small of the Triple C (choc chips, choc fudge, caramel in vanilla base) since I'm typically only down for a bite or two of dessert. Location was clean, parking was fairly easy to find on a weeknight, outdoor seating is appreciated. The location is currently cashless. Afters has lots of fun unique flavors! It's my favorite ice cream shop to go to and I always get the milk and cereal. I love how the ice cream is buttery and creamy and literally tastes like the milk after you've finished the cereal. The milk ice cream itself with the crispy after flakes on top make it amazing. I love that there's salt in the after flakes and it gives it the perfect touch. The customer service is also very great! She was alone and there was a line of people, but she handled it good and was very nice despite it getting a bit overwhelming. How can you complain about ice cream. We love the mochi!!!!! Love all the flavor they have had!! Also the dark matter is the worst enemy since it's all black and leaves your tongue blue and it stains. You see it when you do number 2. They do add a lot of food coloring in that one. I've been coming here for Years! This place is awesome and the staff is always friendly. Since this place is open pretty late, we always have a place to go get dessert no matter how late. The kitchen looks clean and the interior is simple and comfy. They offer alot of different flavors, alot of different toppings, and different ways of serving. Milky buns are the best! They are nice and warm as soon as you get it, a bit sticky but tasty and the right amount of sweetness. The combo of that bun with the scoop of fresh ice cream with your choice of topping is addictive! read more

Probably some of the best ice cream I've ever had. I had the salted O's which sounded odd but it was perfectly salty and sweet. My wife got a vegan ice cream that also had similar flavors and was very surprising to see such a good creamy flavor despite being plant based. Need Improvement on customer service. Cashier was extremely rude, not only did she give unnecessary facial gestures, but she pushed the ice cream toward my friend and I. I have never felt so discriminated before. She didn't even speak to us. we weren't even holding our ice cream when she simply walked away from us leaving us guessing.
