Such a lovely juice bar! I was in the area and craving fresh squeezed juice. My expectations were low because it's so hard to find a place that actually squeezes the juice fresh to order. Most places I've been to are a disappointment using juice concentrate or pre-juicing. It's not the same. But here, it's truly an experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I ordered the drink #2 which has oranges, carrots, ginger, lemon, and pineapple. It was the best juice I ever had. I could taste all the flavors. It has been many years since I've been here and I was craving an açaí bowl! The location is not hard to find. It's between Tyler and Magnolia , almost right next to the post office, on Hole. It stands out with its colorful pastel colors, looks like a little house. There is limited parking, as most of the property is next to an auto body shop. When walking in, there is a lot of space and so much bright light coming in through the multiple windows. There are bars and small tables lined up along the shop. Their menu is on the wall, written on a scroll from the looks of it. They have juices, different types of smoothies, coffee and açaí bowls. They also have custard and ice cream. I ordered the #1 from the juices and the açaí berry bowl. I added peanut butter to it. They have 3 types of sizes for the açaí and 2 for the juices. My order didn't take long, probably around 5 minutes! The employee was very helpful and offered me a bag to put in my bowl. The juice is very healthy and green. I love this place ! They have pre set options for smoothie bowls. They sell standard smoothies and you can add or remove just about anything. I love the build your own option personally. I enjoy picking and choosing something different each time. They aren't cheap but most smoothie places aren't. They are maybe a little more than a large chain but large chains just throw things together. I have yet to come here and have a bad bowl. The shop itself is very small so I would recommend to go but you can sit inside they do have some casual seating. The parking lot is my least favorite because it shared with a shop and it's a one way in one way out spot. If you can park a little further at the next door place it makes it a little easier to go in and out. The staff is very nice and they are happy to answer any questions you have. It's a great local spot that's definitely worth your time. My only sadness is they aren't open longer ! It's my go to when I am in the mood for a bowl. They also serve ice cream I believe so if you bring someone who doesn't like smoothie bowls this would be the spot since they offer so much more. They also have juices which I have yet to even try. Don't be mislead with my 3; the big take away was the fresh fruit on our açaí bowl and Bingsoo, a Korean shaved ice dessert. Although, the items were in the higher end, the abundance and quality of the fruit was worth it. The "average" score reflects the ambiance. There was only 1 employee serving and another who sporadically replenished supplies and cleaned up the table. Although there was a steady stream of customers during our visit, the server kept up a positive attitude and showed her multitasking expertise as none of the customers seemed upset for the wait or their completed orders. Additionally, the parking lot is shared with an auto body workshop. Some of the cars being worked on were covered with a tarp. So good! Came here primarily for the acai bowls. It seemed like it was a one-woman show, but there was only one person ahead of me in line, so I didn't need to wait long. I ordered with the employee (owner?), got all of the toppings figured out (e.g., no peanut butter or honey for hubby's bowl), paid, and waited. Once ready, she called me over and gave me a bag with all of our items. I then had to drive around 40 minutes to get back home (there's no great acai bowl place where we live :( ), and the acai base was definitely melted by then. BUT THE HUBBY LOVED HIS BOWL. Ditto; my bowl was soooo good. Refreshing, filling, not too sweet (i.e., no unnecessary sugar). Very intrigued on their shaved ice offering... Would totally come back if we're in the area. It's a bit far for me, but a cooler and ice packs should work. Parking lot is okay. Not a huge amount of spaces, but I came in during a slow time and didn't have any issues. The shop is situated in front of a car maintenance building, so parking is a little limited. This is the most unassuming place. We only stopped in because we were trying to wait out some traffic. I had the tropical bowl. The coconut and pitaya base was delicious as it was beautiful! The coconut tasted like haupia (for all you Hawaii folks out there). The fruit toppings were fresh and yummy. I'm a bit conflicted writing this review because of the recent changes.. We use to love coming here for their Italian ice - I almost preferred it over frostbites tbh. Plus it's a true mom pop store with their owners handling it all in their own. So we loved to come show our support. However our last trip there things have changed. All the Italian ice is gone and what's taken it's place is açaí bowls. We got the dole whip which they still offer and that was good. I just miss all the Italian ice. We stopped here after a day at Castle Park. We found it on Yelp while searching for ice cream. While their ice cream selection was very limited we were pleasantly surprised at the other options available. We ordered the Korean shaved ice In strawberry and mango. They were so light and fluffy and included 3 toppings each. The topping bar was clean and all of the fruit was so fresh. I got their moi toi açaí bowl with all the toppings. It was so good.
