My husband and I visited this location around 7:30 PM on 7/15/25, hoping to grab a raw juice after our workout. We shop at Nékter regularly and have always enjoyed their juices, so we were surprised by the experience we had that evening. When we walked in, there were two employees at the front. We weren't greeted but instead, we were immediately told that they had stopped serving raw juices for the day. This was confusing, as the store closes at 8:00 PM, and being a juice bar, it seemed unreasonable that raw juices would be unavailable during posted business hours. To confirm, I placed a mobile order at 7:32 PM. When I called shortly after to check on the status, I was told my drink was ready by 7:49 PM--despite being told earlier that juices weren't being served. To make matters worse, my order was incorrect; I had specifically requested no ice, but the drink was made with ice. As a loyal customer, I was disappointed by the lack of customer service, the inconsistency in communication, and the incorrect order. I hope management addresses this so other customers don't have a similar experience. I wonder how many times these employees have done this to customers.

The acai peanut butter bowl was really delightful although I didn't care for the bananas, I come here often when I can & usually just get the acai bowl but I decided to switch it up. The employees were nice & respectful per usual, [[HIGHLIGHT]]clean & quiet establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I normally dislike making negative reviews but felt like this was necessary and help clear up questions I still had with a recent experience. I don't believe the worker had any ill intentions with my order however, I left confused and disappointed with my drink. I order the Toxin Flush every time I visit Nekter. Every time the color, the taste and the consistency has been consistent. Very consistent and I've been to multiple locations. This particular location I've been to a handful of times, but this time my experience was different. I received a reward for "$2 off any 24oz juice", so i decided to redeem. I wish I had taken a photo of the first drink I received but in discussion with the worker about the drink I didn't get a chance to. Immediately I noticed the difference of it being orange, which we know the Toxin Flush to be green, very green. So I questioned the worker about it and he brushed it off as "we use the same machine for all the juices" and something about just juicing a batch of something with carrot. Which I later thought as odd because what if someone had a carrot allergy? So I decided ok let me just try it maybe he's telling the truth. Immediately tasted the difference. Nothing familiar to the flavor of the Toxin Flush aside from a hint of ginger. I read the ingredients on the menu to double check what I remember being in the drink but I couldn't figure out what the flavor was that I was tasting, it was unpleasant. The worker did offer to make it again which I'm grateful for, however this time I still noticed a huge difference in color, taste, and consistency. As he passed it to me he made a comment then about being out of red apples so he had to use apple juice, which I found odd that he never mentioned beforehand cause that may have contributed to the taste being off? I wouldn't have also ordered if they were out of any ingredients. I was also confused cause I remember the drink always being a deep green and with a froth like substance floating at the top from the greens part. After trying it again, I still was unhappy with the taste, it seemed really off the drink and the conversation with the worker. The taste was barely bearable, but I can't make out the taste. Just not good. I took pictures of what the drink looked like this time, nonetheless I didn't want to be a hassle for them, I hate sending things back or asking to remake an order. I am just confused if anyone else experiences this. Maybe it was an off day, but it's not cheap.

Based off of customer service on 11/6 at 9:30am. Whoever this lady is who's behind the counter was just completely rude. One worded answers. No smile. Seemed annoyed at everything. Why go to work if you're going to be in a bad mood and bring it upon every one else. Might want to rethink who they hire here.. I'll just try another nektar close by. Other than that, I love coming here and love the drinks. read more

April 27: 10:30 am. Love the food, but the service has become hit-or-miss. Was treated quite poorly today by a staff member who seemed like she didn't want to be there. On top of the attitude, they skimped on the side of syrup that I paid additional for, and tried to tell me it was a 'favor' to even give me that much, even though I've been here many times and always get a full cup. Management needs to ensure the staff is professional and consistent with portions. read more

Nekter doesn't quite feel like the health-focused spot I once remembered. Lately, my açaí bowls have been a little watery, and the toppings have gotten noticeably lighter. I typically don't leave reviews about experiences like this, but I'm unsure if it's a matter of operational issues or the behavior of the young woman I encountered today. Here are my concerns: when my daughter and I entered the establishment, we were not greeted and ended up standing in the lobby, puzzled by the menu for several minutes while the woman continued her prep work. After about seven minutes of waiting for her attention, she finally asked if we were ready to order. However, she walked away to the kitchen while we were still ordering and didn't make any eye contact or offer any recommendations during our interaction. Nektar, please do better. read more

I'm glad there is a Nekter closer to me! I came in for an afternoon snack and was greeted upon entry and my order was taken immediately. I received my order in a timely manner. The Popeyes's Açai Smoothie had a few chunks in it but overall it tasted good. My husband got an açai bowl and told me the fruit was good but the base of the bowl had no flavor. I'll give them another try in a few months. read more

I walked in at 12:30 and I swear to God it was like I walked into a club the music was so loud I couldn't hear anything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I even made a remark about how loud the music was but the tall guy working in the front looked like he hated being there and just smirked when I said it was loud. After ordering I had to step outside to wait because the loudness was unprofessional and when I came back in I was waiting right in front of the waiting area check my messages and realized it had been a bit of time and looked to see if my order was close to being done and there it was sitting on the counter in a bag because I couldn't hear them tell me it was ready. This location is not it. Canyon Crest one is 100 times Better. I saw someone order an açaí bowl, and when it came out it was half way full! I got a smoothie (small) for $9! It wasn't even good. Props to the red head that works there tho. She is the only One actually working in that place. read more

He offered me a free slice of his mom's vegan carrot cake to try as i was very skeptical and it was absolutely delicious, i ended up buying a second piece! Then I tried the vegan beef sticks, and those blew me away too. Brandon's energy and hospitality were so great that I completely forgot about the pizza and decided to order my whole meal right there.(Also the pizza spot is not kid friendly at all unless you're fathering little vampires!) Even if you aren't vegan, this place is 100% worth checking out. Great food, incredible service, and top tier vibes. I'll definitely be back!

I love salty, but this was a bit salty even for me. All their 3 different sauces had the same sour-ish taste so not sure what the base of their salsa were, the owner answered all of our questions and requests, but I think he was too busy and occupied but could be more friendly and smile. I don't know if they play music on some days or nights but some music would be nice and inviting. It was a hot day today and a canopy would've been also nice. We definitely would've ate at their table, but instead ate in the car. It would've probably attracted and brought in more business. The food did take some time, but it came out fresh. That being said, it wasn't bad. I wouldn't drive far to eat here however I would definitely be back if I was in town.

For what you get, it did feel a bit overpriced, especially considering the portions. It's also worth noting that Viva Vegan is now permanently closed, which isn't too surprising. While the food had its highlights and was impressive for vegan Mexican food, it didn't quite hit the mark enough to keep people coming back consistently. Overall, it was a decent spot for what it was, especially if you're curious about vegan Mexican food, but not something that really stood out in the long run in my opinion.

Customer service has always been on point too. The staff is friendly, chill, and they make the experience easy every time I go in. One thing to keep in mind, they almost always have a wait time, so you definitely need to be patient. It's not the kind of spot where you're in and out quick, but the food usually makes it worth it. The only downside for me is the pricing. Ever since they switched locations, the prices have gone up quite a bit. It's definitely noticeable, especially if you've been going there as long as I have. That being said, I still find myself coming back. The jalapeño poppers are probably my favorite thing on the menu, they're so good, especially with their vegan ranch. As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. The drinks here are definitely more of a premium price point, but I think they're generally good. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.

Recently got nectar, super fruit, açai bowl the açai ice cream blend itself was very bland and didn't taste like any one particular thing The toppings and fruit were really good and the granola mixed with the side blend was amazing. I give the bowl a solid 6. Not my favorite place and definitely wouldn't get my açai on a regular basis at this location. The lady serving me was really sweet and she was working by herself so I give her props taking orders and making them is tough to do by yourself . Inside the shop is very small, but I like how they have a little section for local businesses and entrepreneurs business cards . read more

Great customer service, even though the AC was broken the girl working by herself had a positive attitude. Mind you it was 84 degrees outside so it felt like a sauna in there. The smoothie and bowls were delicious. read more
