I got to come here with a group of friends in grad school and We're all so glad we did! The banchan is all fresh. The tofu soups are more than OK! There's ways to provide vegan / vegetarian options - the usual bibimbap and dumplings. Service is incredibly kind and attentive. Thank you all so much. God bless you all.

This is a hidden gem in Riverside. I had the beef tofu soup with a mild spice. The soup was very flavorful and the beef very tasty. The sides are all delicious. My faves had to have been the cucumber and seaweed salad. I got the combo tofu soup with hot stone spicy pork that was $27. I also tried the short ribs that my sister ordered and can say those were really good too. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They gave us extra sides at no cost. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. There is booth and table seating available. Plenty of parking too.

Tastes just like BCD!! I love this place! We get the medium spicy tofu soup & the spicy pork bulgogi 10/10!

I visited OK Tofu House in La Sierra and had a mixed experience. The customer service was really okay just and everyone was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the japchae was really dry, which was disappointing since I was looking forward to it. Some of the other dishes were okay, but nothing stood out enough to make me want to come back. There is a lot of parking outside, but it looks pretty unsafe and not well-maintained, which made us feel uncomfortable when arriving. Overall, the service was great, but the food didn't quite meet my expectations, so I don't think I would return. The atmosphere was really nice though!

    Pancakes!!!! A must!!

This place is good. The prices went up which is disappointing, but good for them. I wish they had bean sprouts in their bonchon. Every time I come here, I always try something different on the menu. Hasn't disappointed me yet. Would recommend if you don't want to do Korean bbq and I would come back again. The service is good and it's a typical restaurant setting. Nothing fantastic.

I went again and tried the japchae and it was so good, especially if you have it for leftovers. The banchan is also really good? I'm going again LOL. Server was super friendly and it was pretty chill.

This place was authentically amazing! The tofu soup was just the right spice. Sometimes you ask for spicy and it's not spicy at all. This time they did the damn thing. Everything here was so delicious! Service was a little slow but you can tell they are hustling. The place is clean and so worth it to eat here because you can ask for more banchan! They play Korean videos and it's not super loud but enough for you to hear your company and have a good conversation.

I always order their beef intestine tofu soup here. However, I think the quality has decreased. The soup didn't taste as flavorful as before. Tasted pretty water down. Also, they always offered fresh salad as one of their side dish which I really liked. However, they no longer offer that when I came in 2026. I'm not sure if they are cutting food costs or not, but I wish everything will be back to the same! That's the main reason I keep coming back!

Side dishes. Only one I really liked was the fish cakes, kimchi tasted weird.

Service was excellent. They were very attentive and always brought us extra side dishes in a timely manner. The place inside is also very clean and well kept (just the outside is kind of sketch and doesn't look too safe). The food is just ok. It's not horrible just not that great, the kimchi they gave didn't taste good, and the soup and Bimbimbap could've just used more seasoning, it really lacked flavor. The japchae also wasn't that flavorful, and I've had better. The pancakes were descent and the fishcakes side dishes was good as well. Prices were ok, seemed on the higher side for the quality wasn't that great.

They're "ok". Lives up to its name lol. The service was sub par. No one even checked on us and gave us banchan and water refills. For a table of 4, things run out pretty quickly. Food wise, it's okay especially if you are craving tofu soup in Riverside. We didn't feel like driving to Eastvale or Chino for our favorite tofu soup restaurants. ( Dobu or Young Dong)

    yukgaejang

Wow. So impressed!! I remember having yukgaejang in Seoul Korea a couple months ago and it literally just took me straight back to when I had it there. Such a cute little gem in the middle of Riverside with just very authentic food, my server was great and attentive too. Would definitely recommend!

veggie tofu soup with side dishes

I have been here several times and decided it was time I write a review. Food was amazing, as always! A lot of side dishes! Service is quick during lunch, but it does get busy during dinner. Everyone is friendly. As for ambiance, you will definitely hear some k-pop and see a k-drama playing in the background (: My meal was about $20 and I get the veggie soup. For the sides and portions I think this is great & I would love to see a lunch special in the future.

The banchan was delicious and had a nice variety, including radish stem kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, soybean paste with nuts, fried eggplant, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We started with the fried dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and filled with really tasty filling. The soybean stew was packed with flavor and had potatoes, onions, and zucchini--super comforting. The short ribs were juicy and flavorful, especially with a side of rice. The pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. Even the salad was good, with a dressing that wasn't too overpowering. They serve hot barley tea and water, and you can buy canned soft drinks if you want something else. Everything we had was delicious--honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Prices were fair, and the customer service was great. Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we were good and even showed us how to make rice porridge using the hot barley tea and the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, which ended up being really good too. The inside of the restaurant is very clean, well-lit, and has lots of natural color (tans, brown). It appears to have been recently remodeled. There is plenty of seating and open space. This restaurant is great for groups of all sizes. We'll definitely be back to try more items.

I am used to soon tofu soup having multiple levels of spiciness. Also no raw egg is offered without the soup, this I also found odd. Also, banchan was very disappointing. This is what makes the meal for me. Kimchi was not fermented enough and was a pale orange color, fishcake was not offered without you asking, there were no cucumbers, scallion pancake, seasoned bean sprouts, potatoes, or noodles. The flounder offered was very tasty but again, offered at the end of the meal when we were wrapping up. I'm used to this being offered at the beginning or during meal. I think I would only go back if they ramped up their banchan but I did ask, and they said they won't really rotate their banchan :( staff was very attentive but the food will make or break it for me. Hoping I can retry in the future once they're more established.

Don't want to be sweating while you're eating. Coming from highland/redlands, I am happy that there is a ayce kbbq spot in close proximity. Starting with cons: the parking is absolutely terrible. Parking spots are cramped and there's simple not enough spaces, especially during peak times. Pros: now as a long time ayce bbq lover, I understand that red castle quality is not top tier and I don't expect it to be when I go. I view red castle as an affordable joint to get my brisket and beef belly fix, which are the only two items that I basically get. It's odd reading about others experience with service, because every time I go, the service is always fast. I don't need to ask for the grill change because they are fully staffed and consistently checking in. Sure, the hospitality could improve a little but realize what you're going in there for. To stuff ya face! If you're coming here and comparing this place to other kbbq joints, you'll surely be let down. But to enjoy ayce protein for ~25 bucks without having to clean and prep a solid meal, many would realize the true gem that is Red Castle. I remember when their ayce was 13-15 bucks when they opened. Those were the days. I'm also glad that they allow single dining during the week. Not something that I'm able to take advantage of most of the time bc of work but I'm glad it's offered. To all the kbbq snobs (I'm one of them still). Go pay 40 for ayce somewhere else and be happy. Red castle is my go to for a quick fix that is close to home and affordable.

The meats were fresh and flavorful, especially the beef options, and if you enjoy Korean BBQ and eating lots of meat, this is definitely a great spot. They also serve complimentary Korean side dishes, and the staff kept refilling them throughout our meal. The service was friendly once we were seated, and everyone was attentive during dinner. There were a couple of things worth mentioning. When we first arrived, no one greeted us, so we stood at the entrance for a few minutes unsure whether to wait or seat ourselves. The seating is also a bit tight, especially during busy hours. One helpful tip for future diners: go early. Yelp still shows they're open until midnight, but when we visited, they actually closed at 10:30 PM, with last call around 10:00 PM. We arrived a little after 9 PM and only had about 30 minutes before last call, so next time I'd definitely plan to get there earlier. We spent about $42 per adult, and kids are charged based on their height. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was good, and I'd happily come back. Just arrive a little earlier so you can enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.
