Great food, excellent service. We tried the yellow curry, tom kha, and drunken noodles. The yellow curry has potato, carrot, onion, and I picked chicken. I ordered it mild. There was a slight kick. It tasted quite good. It was full of flavor. The tom kha broth was on the zestier side. There were chunks of galangal which was interesting. The lemon grass was in larger cut pieces, so it was interesting to eat, but not preferred. The drunken noodles are vegan friendly. Ensure no egg. The tofu was perfect. They inquire if you want soft or fried tofu which is nice. I prefer soft tofu and was so excited that they offered that. I was also able to modify my plate and add eggplant to it. I ordered the plate spicy, but did not think it was that spicy. Next time I will try very spicy. They were very mindful of dietary restrictions. The menu clearly identifies what is vegan and other multiple dietary restrictions. We will return to try other plates. The inside decor is cute and pleasant. There's plenty of parking. read more

My parents were here (8/22/26) and they had a really positive experience here so wanted me to write this. They were especially impressed by the server, we think her name was Brianna S. She was the only one there that day but even when understaffed, she handled everything from waiting multiple tables, taking calls, and packing takeout, very well under pressure. What stood out the most was that she did all of this with a smile. We'd really like to give her a shoutout if she's reading this or if the manager can see this, please give her our compliments. First time coming here and ordered the pork pad thai to go. It was easy to place the order and pay online. Indoor decor was nice. A little bit dark for me but it was definitely clean and inviting. We ordered the chili garlic stir fry, cashew noodles, and green curry - all vegan (without fish sauce, which we wouldn't have known without Brianna's help). I was in the mood for Thai food and saw this place highly recommended online as one of the best in the area, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered takeout online, and pickup was quick, about 15 minutes. Parking was easy, and I was able to find a spot right in front of the restaurant. When I stopped by on a Thursday evening, the place looked busy with a lot of people dining in. I ordered a medium-spice chicken pad Thai and a side of egg rolls. The chicken pad Thai had a good spice level but lacked depth of flavor and was drier than I'm used to. The chicken was also overcooked since it was a bit tough to chew. The egg rolls were crispy, and the vegetables inside were nicely cooked, but they were nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it was an okay meal, but not the best Thai food I've had. I just wish it had more flavor. I'm not sure I'll be back to try other dishes. read more

The tom yum was second best, had the traditional flavors but was missing something. The pad see ew and pineapple fried rice were disappointing for me. The pad see ew had a nice charred flavor but other than that it was missing sooooo much of the other pad see ew flavors that I'm used to. The pineapple fried rice did not taste Thai to me (from what I'm used to). I'm not sure if it's because I got the food with no spice, but they were definitely missing flavor. read more

First time dining here since it became Chaam Eatery. Nice ambiance, beautifully decorated for the holidays. Opted for pad Thai with shrimp and crab fried rice, both with medium spice. I had a lychee iced tea, which was sweet and refreshing (and got refills too!) Both dishes were sooo good with just right amount of heat (medium spice seemed more hot, so I suggest mild if you can't handle spicy food). You can also request chili on the side. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, I believe her name was Amarie or Annmarie? She was the sweetest and most humble. She asked us about our experience and was kind enough to extend her courtesy to our service dog. Offered a water bowl and freshly cut carrots which our Clementine loved. For instance, someone in our party got the shrimp pad Thai and not only was it already sweet, but they served it with a spoon full of sugar another guest got the panang curry and said it was too sweet. We had the best meal here on Saturday. We ordered Cashew chicken, pad suu, orange chicken and egg rolls. It was all delicious. The orange chicken may be the best I've ever had. The breading is lighter than most I've had and the infusion of the oranges tastes natural and fresh. Both the cashew chicken and pad suu were excellent and the egg rolls were just right (the sauce they serve with the egg rolls I could drink!). Our server was a great guy named Asm. He was personable and anticipated needs without having to be called over. On 8/22 (our first visit there) we had a server I believe was named Briana -- she was fabulous and provided great service with a smile and a warmth that one doesn't always find. The food was great. Had simple dishes like the combo fried rice, pad se ew, and a chicken and broccoli which was very delicious. All the flavors were light and soft which honestly almost felt healthy in a sense. But being light in a sense means less flavor. Hard for me to tell if it's 5 stars or 4 stars. February 2025. Our first time here. They've been open a mere 8 months, but I am patient, not one to rush to the grand opening. My philosophy is, new restaurants are like a fine wine that needs time to age, perfect, and improve. Finally, it was time to test the waters. So pretty inside, very welcoming and clean, lots of tables each with a little bud vase containing a fresh, red carnation, greens, and a tiny string of twinkling led lights. But best of all, we came because the 8 months of reviews were solid. So we came. We ate. We raved. The food knocked it out of the park! First came the crab fried rice. It made Mr. B's eyes roll. Real crab! Then the single serving of Tom Kha Gai soup, a big soup bowl loaded with tender chicken, mushrooms, and all the essential exotic ingredients (lemongrass, galangal, kaffirs lime leaves, cilantro, and coconut cream, etc.). The best! Finally, the big bowl of red curry with pork. Winners, all three. The thing that caught our attention was the meat in each dish. Very delicately cooked so it was moist and tender, unlike so many. But the flavors, too, were complex, as they should be. So mouth-watering. And the servings so generous that these are going to make some mighty great leftovers! Ahhh, where have you been my whole life? And so convenient too. Great service. Good prices. Used to come to this place back when it was a pizza joint in the 90s. There has been some changes, it's noticeably smaller inside. Beyond that, there were 6 available tables and 3 were taken. We were sat immediately and then what I presume was the only server, vanished. For quite some time. He came back and brought us water and then disappeared again for 10ish minutes. He came out and handled the other tables, but continued to ignore ours. My wife assumed it was because our menus were still out, so we stacked them to the side and he immediately returned. Food didn't take very long, and someone else did appear to bring it, so I know our guy wasn't completely alone. It was...fine. Nothing phenomenal, nothing terrible. Just ok. Now for the weird part- I've never rated a place based on the ambiance, especially the music, but it was just too strange to ignore. It was like 80s soft rock songs, but slowed down. I can't explain it, but each one was the song, slowed down to like 85%. Enough that it was very noticeable. This, and the slow service, just kinda set the mood. Point, I didn't like it. I didn't like how slow and drab it was inside. I didn't like the song choice, which again isn't something I ever pick up on, until now. And I didn't particularly care for the food. read more

From the start we were greeted from the friendly server who I believe is Maliena. Maliena guided us through our lunch experience and frequently checked on us. Could not be happier with the service! As for the food!? I am a very seasoned Thai food eater, eating Thai food from LA, OC and IE. This place ranks right up there with the best. We ordered the papaya salad, pineapple fried rice and pad kee mao. Flavor in each dish was consistent with every bite. Spice level for medium was okay, I would like to try the next level up next time. I also cannot complain about portion size with the price, good value.
