The food was so delicious. The service was superb. We had a group of five and not a complaint amongst us. The restaurant is in a busy shopping center, but we walked right in and the was plenty of seating.

First time dining here since it became Chaam Eatery. Nice ambiance, beautifully decorated for the holidays. Opted for pad Thai with shrimp and crab fried rice, both with medium spice. I had a lychee iced tea, which was sweet and refreshing (and got refills too!) Both dishes were sooo good with just right amount of heat (medium spice seemed more hot, so I suggest mild if you can't handle spicy food). You can also request chili on the side. Service was great too and I definitely recommend trying this place out.

Our server was excellent! And the food was mostly good. There were some dishes that were way too sweet. For instance, someone in our party got the shrimp pad Thai and not only was it already sweet, but they served it with a spoon full of sugar another guest got the panang curry and said it was too sweet. I got the crispy fish, which had a sauce that was also too sweet. The shrimp tempura seemed a bit undercooked, but only me and my friend felt that way. Everything else was great.

Came back with my parents and they too loved every dish. Not too overly sweet, just the right amount of spices and seasoning. Super friendly servers. Quiet and dimly lit with ample of lighting.

Chaam Eatery is a great find, conveniently located on a plaza off Van Buren in Arlington South. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, with a nicely designed interior. Service was super friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We came on a Friday evening, and the place was buzzing with diners. We ordered the Tom Yum Chef's Special with shrimp, Crab Fried Rice, Panang Curry, and Pad Ka Prow. Every dish was flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. A genuinely excellent experience all around--will definitely be back!

Crab fried rice. Real crab! Loved it.

February 2025. Our first time here. They've been open a mere 8 months, but I am patient, not one to rush to the grand opening. My philosophy is, new restaurants are like a fine wine that needs time to age, perfect, and improve. Finally, it was time to test the waters. So pretty inside, very welcoming and clean, lots of tables each with a little bud vase containing a fresh, red carnation, greens, and a tiny string of twinkling led lights. But best of all, we came because the 8 months of reviews were solid. So we came. We ate. We raved. The food knocked it out of the park! First came the crab fried rice. It made Mr. B's eyes roll. Real crab! Then the single serving of Tom Kha Gai soup, a big soup bowl loaded with tender chicken, mushrooms, and all the essential exotic ingredients (lemongrass, galangal, kaffirs lime leaves, cilantro, and coconut cream, etc.). The best! Finally, the big bowl of red curry with pork. Winners, all three. The thing that caught our attention was the meat in each dish. Very delicately cooked so it was moist and tender, unlike so many. But the flavors, too, were complex, as they should be. So mouth-watering. And the servings so generous that these are going to make some mighty great leftovers! Ahhh, where have you been my whole life? And so convenient too. Great service. Good prices. A total win!

FOOD COOKED WITH LOVE !!!! Beef salad was YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!!! Soooooooo good!!!! I passed by the restaurant a few times because my daughter has cheer in the area and wasn't sure what it was so I went on YELP and looked it up and decided to stop in. Of course my fellow Yelpers never disappoint!!! They said it was good authentic Thai food and that is facts!!!!! The place is quiet and quaint and very cozy. Very cute very demure! I ordered the Beef Salad which came highly recommended from Yelpers and when I tell you ...it was DELICIOUS!!!!!! All Of the ingredients married well together with the medium dressing. I mean I can't wait to go back there just for this salad. The owner and chef came out and when I say she is the sweetest lady. She was so kind and humble and appreciative of my business. I really loved her. This place is a must try if you are in the area. You can tell the food was cooked with love cause I felt the love and tasted the love in my dish. I will definitely be going back there. See you soon !!!! Shaya

Went here with my family after a long day. It was such a cozy vibe. The waitress was very kind and accommodating. My favorite has to be the tom kha soup. I recommend it for people who love coconut. It truly warms the heart!

coconut ice cream- it was delicious!

The meal was delicious. I had hot jasmine tea with chicken chow mein. Finished dinner with coconut ice cream. The atmosphere is relaxing and the owner is super sweet. I recommend this place!

The staff is fantastic--our waitress was super prompt, friendly, and attentive the whole time--but the food was a bit of a roller coaster. The ambiance was good but it was a busy night and we had to sit at the bar, which made it a bit louder than we wanted. The Good: Definitely order the Yellowtail Carpaccio. It was the highlight of the meal. The citrus sauce was crisp and flavorful, and the jalapeño added the perfect amount of spice. The Okay: The Crunch Roll was... fine. It's a pretty basic roll, but the eel sauce was really strong compared to other sushi spots I've been to. If you like heavy sauce, you might like it, but it was a bit much for me. The Not-So-Good: I would skip the Tuna Tartare. It was a huge letdown. It was served with bread, which made the texture really mushy--a total no-go for me. On top of that, it just wasn't flavorful. The sauce on it felt like it was there just for the sake of having sauce; it didn't add anything to the dish. Verdict: Come for the friendly service and the carpaccio, but maybe skip the tartare.

Waiters are pretty quick to get your drinks and orders. They even provided a little disposable plate for my toddler daughter, which we appreciated (especially since kids love to throw things). Just make sure you order entrees and dessert altogether, otherwise you'll have to wait until a waiter is available, they're always so busy! The ambiance is nice, and they have outdoor seating too with fruit trees and a fountain. Gets a little loud during peak times but no big deal. Parking is an issue though. Tight spaces and not enough lots. Though you can park around the block along the public road. 10/10 imo. And we'll always return, especially to try other menu items.
